If you like greasy burgers with off tasting chili, this is the place for you. This place is not going to get a return visit, Clean up the place and get someone who knowes how to make a real chili burger., just saying.

This is based on the peanut butter shake I had it was delicious. It was thick but the flavor was great. My friend had the chilli cheese fries and she said she wasn’t too impressed with them they lacked chilli for them to have used the steak fries it could have been more chilli. She also said the cheese wasn’t melted she warmed the food up when we got back to my house. She didn’t like the choice between the small and large container so she picked the large and said she wished she would have gotten the small because she ate 4 bites and tossed it lol. There’s not many vegetarian options besides French fries so I doubt I will be able to review this place so I used my friends rating haha!!!

I ordered a Pastrami sandwich last week late evening, and this was my first time. I don’t eat out much, but I was working late on a house project, and ran out of food in fridge, so got a quick bite. Pastrami sandwich was overpriced at close to $ 10. Came with fries and a sugar drink which I did not want but there were no other options but to pay for it. The sandwich was soggy. The fries were very dried up. I went back home to eat it. The sandwich was so over salted, I had to take the meat out, and rinse it in warm water to get all the salt out. Too salty even for my dog!!! This helped a bit, but still very overloaded with salt. What really freaked me out, was the following: As I waited for my sandwich, I observed the cashier lady go to the cooking area, pull down a tray of onion rings, pick through them with her un-gloved hand and long nails, turning over each onion ring to finally pick the best one, then eat it on her way back to the cash register by the window. She rang up the next customer with greasy fingers holding up an onion ring. She had transferred all the germs from handling currency from customers to the onion rings. All the germs under her long unhygienic finger nails and from the cash customers. This is not a good area. Lots of homeless people about, late at night, eating on outdoor tables. This is the germy currency that was handled. No hand washing, nothing. I was very hungry and other places were closed, and I made sure she did not handle my food. But I debated whether to call the Health Dept and notify them of this health hazard. It was so disgusting to watch. I said nothing as I did not want a scene. Never coming back to this dive! No hygience, bad food, high price, yuk!

This was an okay greasy spoon type place. I got the chili cheese fries and found that they were a little bit under seasoned and that the chili was runny and not that great. My boyfriend’s breakfast burrito was delicious though! I like that it’s open 24 hours and a well lit place. Just don’t know if it’s worth going back to.

I recently moved around the area and this place is literally a block or so from where I live. My boyfriend and I came here at 2 am because nothing else was open and it was DELICIOUS plus their shakes a AMAZING! Nice hole in wall.

Ok, I’ve lived here in LA for over 45 years and never heard of this place? They should have a line down the street! The best old fashion malts/shakes on the planet. The onion rings are to die for! I’m so glad I got lost in LA and stopped here. The lady at the front is amazing, and the cooks have been here some over 40 years. I heard the carne asada burrito is pretty good. I’ll try that next time.

Went here after closing down the bar after the Iron Maiden concert. Talk about a little slice of home. WOW the burgers here are what a burger should be. But that’s nothing compared to the fries. They have the thick cut really wide steak fries. That is what really makes a burger meal is those big, wide, fluffy steak fries. I also had a chocolate peanut butter shake that was equally amazing. Haven’t had a burger and fries like this since high school. Never thought such a great burger would come from a place that also does Mexican food!

Really cool burger spot! Love that it’s open 24 hours, because I can be a late-night foodie at times. They have BOMB chili cheese fries! I’ve also tried their bacon cheese burger and chili cheese burger! Can’t go wrong with any of those. Their shakes are phenomenal! But they know they can get some bigger cups, man! lol… Large is like a joke to me! lol… Tried chocolate(will ask for extra flavor next time) and I’ve also tried the pineapple. Both were great!

I’ve been hooked on Melo Burger since my teens. Its not because of the convenience of its location in relation to LAX, nor that it is open 24 hours(although both help). It may be due to how much food that you get for the price. Imagine getting Fuddrucker’s quality hamburgers with fries for roughly $ 5…in Los Angeles? Melo Burger, are you crazy for having prices so low??? Not that I’m complaining. While it is true that it is located on the corner of a questionable area in Inglewood(wouldn’t recommend going to after dark), the place is worth making a stop at during the day. The size of the burritos alone are ridiculous, and would put any local Ramona’s to shame. While you can always purchase fountain drink here(never noticed alcohol at this location), you can walk a half a block away to pick up a brew or L. A’s finest MD20⁄20 or Cold Duck to wash down the Melo Burger mega deliciousness.

I used to come here all the time and get a Colossal burger combo, and an XL lemonade. Sometimes, the burger would be so loaded with pastrami that I could shake some over my(chili cheese) fries. Other times, there would be less pastrami and way too much mayo. It depends on the cook you get. I haven’t been in a while, so I forgot my favorite cook’s name. I drive pass it every now and then, and it looks like the cutie(there was only 1 I saw in all the time I went there) that used to run the counter is gone now. Their breakfast food is decent, no matter which cook you get. I work late nights/early mornings, so when go there I see hookers, construction workers, and cops getting their food. Yeah, it gets interesting at times. They’re 24 hours for a reason; people are always hungry, and Melo’s has what it takes to feed the masses. Personally, I think their longevity speaks for itself. For the record: I’ve only been to the Rally’s across the street twice, and that’s only cause I was in the mood for Rally’s. Otherwise, there’s no question of which one I choose.

Place is very overrated to me. However all the other firefighters I work with around the area love this place… Only for the shakes though

Hole n the Wall that has some very good chili cheese fries and chocolate malts. That’s all I come for so I can’t vouch for anything else off the menu :)Open all night long and looks like you’ll surely get robbed but sometimes you take chances when it’s after midnight and you’re hungry! P. S. Call in your order, take it to go– don’t kick it(dont know the grade but it’s probably best not to look rofl) and I’ve seen cops eating there both times Ive gone-made me feel slightly safer but if u been drinkin u might wanna FOCUS.

They use lard in their beans, which is a good thing. One of the best bean and cheese burritos I’ve had in LA.

Chili cheese in the Inglehood! Melo’s is a must stop for me every time I fly in and out of LAX as it’s right on the main drag. Not sure but think this place started out as strictly a burger joint and then progressively added Mexican options later on. I usually get the chili cheese fries which is a meal in and of itself. The food is mediocre but part of the draw here is the atmosphere and the open tables outside. Great place to people watch. Food options are vast with a giant-sized menu board. Really something for everyone here. Clientele is varied with mostly Inglewood locals and a slew of cops and firefighters. A classic unspoilt Inglewood dive in the truest sense of the word right on the corner of Century Blvd.

First complaint: I ordered a chilli burger, the girl who took my order asked me if I wanted it to be a combo(fries and drinks) so I said«whatever yea». She gave me the drink but completely failed to give me fries(I didn’t check because stupid bitch made it a combo so I figured she’d have the knowledge to add fries). She charged me for a combo and failed. Second complaint: the food gave me food poisoning! I’ve been throwing up like crazy for 2 days now. NEVERAGAIN! I would definitely not recommend this shit hole

I stopped by Melo Burger on my way to work because I wanted to pick up lunch on my way to work. I’ve been having Subway for the last few days and it’s been getting a bit too much these last few days. I got on Unilocal,to find for places that are open before 07:45AM, areas around the airport(my employment place) and I came across Melos Burger. I checked out their menu from a secondary website( ) and the menu doesn’t cover everything, but it covers a good chunk of what they offer. Melos is located in Inglewood, off the 405 at Century Exit. It’s right on the corner and you can’t miss it. Ample parking and easy to order. Only waited a few minutes until my order was ready, and best of all, it’s pretty cheap. I went with something that was solid, the Ham and Cheese sandwich. It’s pretty basic, but it was actually pretty good and tasty. When I got to work, I threw it in the fridge after letting it cool down. When I heated it up, threw it in the microwave for a minute, and it was pretty good. The sandwich contains lettuce, tomato, ham, cheese, and possibly mayo. I wasn’t a fan of the mayo since I don’t like mayo in general so I think I’ll opt out on the mayo next time. For less than $ 4, it was a good, hearty lunch sandwich. Best of all, this place is open 24 hours. The question is would I come here again? Absolutely. For the price and selection of food, it’s sure not bad at all. Overall grade: A
