Puerto Nuevo Coffee & Tacos

I love this place. I have only had their breakfast food but I’m telling you that you won’t be disappointed. they make fresh juice out of whatever you want and they are super on point with their service! The next time I come I will be trying some of their delicious looking Mexican food!

So good! Finally found an excellent Mexican food restaurant close to home! Everything I’ve tried is sooooo good! Sometimes I just stop by to get a couple bags of tortilla chips because they’re good. Awesome service!!!

Hello folks! I can’t say enough about this place!!! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Everything was great!!! I ordered the chicken wing special with grits and eggs perfect!!! And you have to come all the way correct to get that from me and they did. You might not know this but everybody can’t cook grits! But they can cook good grits! And fry some great perfectly seasoned chicken wings (and not greasy) and they don’t use to much salt!!! Great place pay them a visit and get a deserved treat. Oh did I mention there prices are cheap!

Love it here! The food is great and the prices are just right! The outside is very pretty to eat at too with their small garden on the perimeter

I love this place. I eat here at least 2 – 3 days a week just because of the food. Its very clean and the service is awesome as well.

Great food, nice cozy feeling and the service was great, but the best thing of all was their coffee, what a great little place, I had the huevos rancheros, they were very well cooked, it has a home cooked meal kind if vibe, will definitely come back when in town.

Very very good food. Satisfied with every single bite. Make me keep going back. Well proportioned and perfectly seasoned food. Prices are very reasonable. MY new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Here now for breakfast and would definitely come back. Me and my daughter both had the chorizo and eggs with black beans, rice and corn tortillas. Yum! Very tasty and even the coffee is good! Service was great as well.

This is a new Mexican spot around the way– we ordered a few tacos the other night. I gave them 2 stars because they are local but I ordered al pastor and carne asada tacos. The asada tacos were inedible– one bite and I was like can’t do it. Sorry but wouldn’t recommend it.

Went here a few times and the food and service was always superb, the young guy who seems to be in charge is super attentive to his clients needs, I was living in the area but moved and will sure be back there when in that area, big thumbs up !

Went by today and received great service with good food. Carne asada Taco fresh and tasty. I will be back soon. Outside seating nice too.

Great spot in the neighborhood! They serve breakfast all day so I had their eggs and bacon. The potatoes were also good with onions and bell peppers. I preferred the sausage links. They offer turkey or pork, links or patties. Yummy breakfast and will be back often. Friend got tacos and they were delicious. Carne asada and pastor both soooooo good. They offer shredded beef, ground beef, steak, chicken, carnitas, pastor, chorizo, ground turkey… I think that’s it lol Went again for their street tacos from 5pm-​9pm (smaller, $.99 version of their regular tacos). The space is very clean and brighter than the Slauson spot. Nice touch with the outdoor patio and landscaping too. Very friendly staff and don’t skip their awesome juices. I picked carrot-​ginger-​beet-​kale-​apple. Fantastic and fresh.

The Spanish omelet with home fries is my favorite breakfast. Large dinner salad with avocado (extra) and sometimes tuna for lunch or dinner. My husband likes the chicken burritos, nachos, eggs Ala Mexicana made spicy. We both like the coffee. I couldn’t cook at home for a few days so we walked over to Puerto Nuevo for dinner everyday and have been very happy. Still enjoying going to eat here for a month so far. Food is never greasy, they use veg oil. Very friendly staff, very clean restaurant.

Love this place. Close to where I live and they have great service. Make sure you tell them if you are in a hurry as they have a very laid back feel to the place. Yes, I am a fan!

Came for breakfast and had the sausage breakfast burrito. It was big and very good. GF had their tacos and like them as well. Get the coffee de la olla. Delish.

Really cool place. Just opened and they are running 4.99 breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials. The food was good and the Customer service was really good!

Very fresh clean awesome place. My wife had the chicken salad perfect size nice fresh and good. I had the carne al pastor rice and beans and side salad so fresh and good very pleased. I had a Mexican coffee with cinnamon and brown sugar that was outstanding. Very big fan can’t wait to go back for breakfast.

I have tasted the food at their 1^st location, which is on Overhill and Slauson. This is a smaller version with less Mexican dishes, more American dishes. I ordered an asada torta, which I thought was a little overpriced for the location, but it was really good. They have options from pancakes, seafood, to salads and smoothies! I will definitely be coming back to support our local business. I think next time I will have some breakfast or Campechana!
Small parking lot but there is plenty of street parking.
