Stopped in to try the French Silk and Cookies N’ Cream. Both were fabulous. Less than $ 4 for two huge scoops. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This review applies only to Peterson’s ice cream. After seeing some mentions of Peterson’s online, I decided I better check it out. Peterson makes homemade ice cream, so their recipes and tastes are one of a kind. And, guess what. It’s good. I tried two flavors on my first visit, peanut butter fudge and cookies and cream. The cookies and cream was solid– lots of cookie and creamy vanilla base, not too waxy as is often the case with cookies and cream. The peanut butter fudge, however, was über awesome. I might go as far to say it was the beast peanut butter flavors ice cream I’ve eaten. Combine that with thick fudge and you can’t go wrong. The shop itself was pretty plain– could use a bit of flair but the ice cream was worth the trip. I’ll return again.

A great addition to the Southeast Metro! Located in what was the old Papa Murphy’s location at the corner of 80th& Cahill, I am happy to see a wonderful ice cream shop take up residence. I didn’t try the popcorn or the homemade fudge, but I will say I really liked the ice cream combo of French Silk and Peanut Butter Fudge. There was a lot of peanut butter flavor and the French Silk had abundant chocolate pieces. Also, for less than $ 4, I think they give a generous amount of ice cream!
