I’ve become quite picky with pizza, and I can happily say that I have yet to have a bad experience at Godfathers. The best they offer would be in the Taco, Combo, or Bacon Cheeseburger pizza.
The company gives out many coupon opportunities and deals, as well as having daily deals.
This is a top pizza place in Iowa City. I used to come here as a little girl and still come here now as an adult, and it’s still fantastic. Great management.

We ordered a pizza, chicken bites and breadsticks from them. The pizza was awful and super greasy. The chicken was also unappetizing and the breadsticks were mostly hard or chewy. I will never order from them again. I’ll stick with Falbo’s.

Simply put, it’s the best. I’ve been a fan since I was just a kid and nothing has changed since. Ok, sure the booths could use a bit of a revamp. But it’s all about the pizza here anyway! The taco pizza is delicious, the chicken is crunchy and spicy. It’s perfect. I will come back again and again and again!

Godfather’s pizza is literally worse than frozen pizza. I ordered the «taco pizza» and I believe it came with off brand doritos crumbled on top of it. Sadly, it was missing the black olives and sour cream promised by the menu.
One benefit of having less food to eat meant that I did not have to sit under the leering eye of the large portrait of a man in a comically pinstriped suit, gazing into my soul with his one eyebrow raised so perilously high that I was concerned it might float off into the heavens. I can only presume that man was the godfather.
Don’t eat here. Capiche?
