Riverside Theatre

We saw All My Sons here on Friday night, and what a fantastic show!
I’m a huge Arthur Miller fan to boot, and have several years of past theatre experience, so it’s usually a little difficult for me to see shows without being critical and paying great attention to the little details. Fortunately, there was hardly anything for me to criticize in this show.
The acting was superb all-​around, but my one complaint was that the actors never cheated out… It kills me to stare at actors’ backs half the show. If you’re having a conversation with another character, TRY to turn yourself outward a little, somehow; don’t completely turn your body away from the audience. I really couldn’t find any artistic justification for this. The two principal actors however (who played Joe and Kate Miller) were absolutely fantastic – definitely well-​seasoned theatre veterans.
I’d love to come back here for another show!
