I don’t EVER write reviews but this one has to be done. Especially because I had a better experience with these guys a different year. Maybe they should consider hiring new staff. Or replacing the current front man. If you’re trying to sell your textbooks, sell them elsewhere, either directly to students or online. The guy in glasses wearing a backwards hat with dark hair was hands down the biggest jerk. First he tossed my books around as if they were worth nothing, then had the audacity to tell me I won’t be able to sell them compared to his prices and telling me loose leaf is worthless. Although I’m not upset about my BRANDNEW and«very-like-new» books being worth $ 10 supposedly, I’m more angrily amused at the idea he’s the best textbook seller on the market for UCI. If you’re trying to make a sale or not make a sale, have some decency and kindly let the seller know it’s hard to sell loose leaf rather than«loose leaf is worth nothing, should’ve bought from me». Why would I buy from him? His textbooks are $ 25 each(not to mention USED) and the access code alone is $ 90, while a brand new textbook bundle with access code costs $ 120. It’s the EXACT same thing but you get a fresh textbook. And if I were to return it to him to sell, he’d probably forget I bought it from you and treat me the same way he did today. You’re right the hill probably wouldn’t buy back my textbooks but they gave me some mutual respect and the decency to say«I’m sorry, but we just can’t accept these» when I did a sell back. LISTENLOSER, go sort the books in the back because you definitely don’t know how to handle business or people.

At approximately 1:20 p. m today, a chubby individual with glasses who is running the front was incredibly rude to me when I was trying to sell my textbook. I literally came in today and tried to sell my chemistry textbook, and he told me no I will only buy them new. He literally offered me $ 5 the girl who just walked in with had. He didn’t even scan the textbook. Incredibly rude and poor customer service to sellers. If you are looking for a place to sell your books, do not go here. They will hustle you based on inventory at a 10th of the price. I hope the manager takes disciplinary action on this individual. Only come here to buy used books.

This place is pretty cool. The guy who helped me was really nice! I mean even though I spent way more on the books I bought I still got a decent amount back. I will definitely be back at the end of my semester!

HORRIBLEEXPERIENCEATTHISPLACE I rented three textbooks for a quarter at UCI for $ 40. I extended for extra two weeks on the finals week because I knew I would not be able to make a trip to campus area soon after finals week(because I would be working full time of course during their business hours). And the cashier confirmed me on the spot that they will be due in two weeks. Later, I found out that $ 120(the retail price of those three books plus 20%) transaction had gone through my credit card. I went to figure out and return those books only to hear the owner telling me that they were supposedly due in a week so he cannot reimburse me nor cancel the transaction. And he argued that that’s why the price was so low for extension. I explained to them their must have been miscommunication between the cashier and me. I could not bear to hold the conversation for longer after they offered $ 25 gift card to use next time as if I would be definitely coming back to use and get $ 25 deducted for being forgetful of the unreasonably charged $ 120 on my credit card.

Pretty good service. Probably the better place to get your books if they have them in stock compared to the book store. Only thing is that IF the quality of the book matters, then you should assess whether or not you should get the book here or the UCI Bookstore. Other than that, I get all my books here for a better price.

I love this place!!! They have amazing customer service and a very good price for the books that they sell! Today, I went to the UCI Bookstore to look for a solutions manual for Chem 131B. I already bought the textbook, and the bookstore only sold the solutions manual with the book for $ 199. So my boyfriend suggested A+ College Texts at University Town Center. When I came in, they didn’t have the book but they called up their partnership store to see what they could do. It was very quick and easy. When the other store confirmed that the book was in their inventory, and they told me that they would call me when I can pick up the book. So I paid for the book, with 5 dollars back because we used a coupon on their app, which offers an even better deal. So I got the book for less than 40 dollars! When they called me, they told me that due to technical difficulties, they weren’t able to obtain the book. However, they offered to place an order on a new book which will arrive in a few days. This is the kind of customer service that I truly respect, not only because they tried so hard to get me the book that I needed, but also because they honored that it was their mistake and offered a replacement! Also download Campus Special on your smartphone and check out the deals for A+ College Textbooks! They rarely get people who use this, so take advantage of it! =]
