First time here. I ordered the chipotle chicken burrito and a strawberry«smoothie” — its actually a slushy, but I still liked it! As for the burrito, it was tasty, just wished it had Mexican or cilantro style rice instead of plain white rice. My lunch was good — hence the 3 star. Just good, not great or amazing. I would eat here again, it wasn’t terrible. It’s located by my office, so it’s close by. Looking forward to trying some of their breakfast foods.

The menu is good, but it never, ever, never ever changes! Same old same old. I mean, mix it up a bit. Server breakfast all day, or bring in some different lunch specials. The food I get there is good, but am getting so bored of the same menu. Day after day after day.

Cheap and convenient for business workers in the area. The breakfast burrito is great. Much better than the poison the serve at a fast food joint

So, I’ve been working in this complex since April and I’m all«wahooo, a food place next door»! Right? What could possibly go wrong? Everything. Their bacon, egg and cheese sandwich has exactly 1 slice of bacon split between the 2 halves of the sandwich. The breakfast burrito(with bacon), has exactly one slice of bacon, hardly any egg and it’s mainly made up of a tortilla and salsa. Their lunch sandwiches… my 5 year old son makes better ones. The coffee is awesome, though.

I’ll start out by saying there is nothing wrong with this place. The food is edible, the location is great(i work in the same building), and the staff is personable. The main issues are: 1. lack a sense of urgency(it takes 10 min to make a sandwich for takeout) 2. sandwiches are sparse on content(light on the meat and veggies) 3. closes early With that said, nothing is so bad that i would bother getting in the car to go somewhere else.

This place is 1 minute, exactly, away from my work place so I come here when I’m too lazy to go anywhere else. The food for the price is good and simple. I’ve only tried two items so far, the tuna melt and the deluxe sandwich. Both items are delicious, nothing extraordinary and no special sauce, but definitely satisfying for lunch. I have yet to try the gyro that people are talking about, so that will be my next item. 4-stars for its convenience, simplicity, and value. Nothing beats a sandwich for lunch sometimes.

We stopped by here for breakfast since it’s just down the street from work. Not a place that you should go too out of your way for, but if you’re in the vicinity, it’s worth a stop. I had a ham and cheese omelette with a piece of toast, which came out to just over $ 4. The best way that I can describe the food is that it’s like something you would make yourself if you’re cooking at home. The omelette was made with what seems like packaged ham and shredded cheddar cheese. But don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed it. Especially with the slice of toast with butter and jelly. Awww yeah. Service is quick and the woman who took the order was polite. Overall, I’ll be back.

Good service, good sandwiches. A little bit too pricey for just a sandwich. But when I do go in, good attitudes and fast delivery. I will be back again.

I went here for the first time today. My friend said it was pretty good. I tried it out. Went in nice and quiet, relaxing. Got myself a turkey sandwich on wheat, extra tomatoes, lettuce, no mayo, no mustard, add avocados. TOASTED. it was bomb. I would totally eat here again. Plus that cashier guy. oh lawd

I can’t imagine that anyone would go out of their way for this place but, if you work in the area, it’s worth a stop. Alton Café is walking distance from my office so I had to check it out. I’ve had two items here… the vegetarian breakfast burrito and the vegetarian sandwich on squaw. I am not a vegetarian, but these items just sounded good when I looked at the menu. Both items are great. Nothing fancy or gourmet here… No gimmicks or tricks… just fresh tasting, good food that tastes like you made it at home. The décor is standard fare bummin’ corporate café and the service won’t blow your mind, so always take it to-go.

Home of thin sandwiches. Extremely light on ingredients. Not a place I would go out of my way to get to. Their prices are reasonable, but the menu is stock, sandwich shop. Another place that is really only serving people who are within walking distance.

This café is great, nice selection Got the breakfast special with two eggs, bacon and sourdough toast, good and perfect size I also tried the breakfast burrito which is ok, mostly made up of egg and potatoes but comes with a little meat of your choice and cheese, I also like the rueben sandwich for lunch, they make it pretty good here Friendly and always clean,

This deli seems to be run by two Korean moms, while service is fast & friendly it took quite a while to get our food. They are located in the middle of the corporate food wasteland that’s unfortunately East Irvine, only reason to come seems to be due to lunch time constraints and convenience. Pricing is okay but reflects in their portions, an okay value. Had a chicken club, small portion, overall taste. very mediocre. So much for using Unilocal quick tips! Toasted bread & tomatoes were fine but the chicken tasted similar to the ones you can find in frozen chicken burgers at Costco, where it tastes somewhat rubbery or processed after defrosting. They do however carry a copy of Chipotle’s famous burrito but it’s not really the same. Triple decker sandwich on the other hand looked legit. Better luck next time!

Sandwiches make the world go round. This place makes simple sandwiches with simple ingredients, at reasonable prices… a good no-nonsense, no-fuss lunch spot. I had the turkey and cheese on a croissant. All in all it was pretty good. decent. the croissant was fresh, and so were the lettuce and tomato. The turkey was thin sliced and piled on. the sandwich seemed a little small — maybe my eyes were just large, because after finishing it I was very satisfied. They sell dirty chips and salads and looked like the do breakfast too… they be on my simple sandwich stops rotation

I recently started working near here… I go here coz its walking distance. I tried the chicken club sandwich and the Gyro. Both are delicious. Portions are little small but reasonable for the price. I think I am gonna make it my permanent lunch place…

I love this place for several reasons … directly across the street from work, SUPER friendly employees, good selection of drinks, and food is made fresh when you order it. Lunch time can get a little busy in there with several people in line waiting to order and not much room inside for waiting, so I always call in what I want and by the time I walk over, it’s ready for me. There’s a few tables outside with umbrellas to enjoy sunny socal while you enjoy your food.

This is funny. I’ve worked at the same location since 1985, currently 24 years and I have never eaten at this place which is just two blocks walking distance from my office. One employee has religiously walked to this sandwich shop every day for as long as I have known him. Recently I started trying out different industrial area sandwich shops recommended by Unilocalers. Today, I decided, what the heck, why not try this very local shop. It was great, the girls are fast, and their potato salad was delicious. I had a turkey sandwich on french roll. For $ 4.25 it is a fair deal. The potato salad was $ 1.25, and the self-serve drink was another $ 1.50. This is inexpensive, fresh, and fast. Like Dorothy says at the conclusion of the Wizard of Oz, «the next time I go looking for my heart’s desire I won’t look further than my own back-yard!»

I have been coming here on and off about 3 years. I would say its actually better than what you might think from the outside. Most sandwich places are a little bit stingy on there serving size of the meat and quality of there sandwiches. Why I like to come here is there BREAKFAST! because you can call in and pick it up and your out the door within 1 minute if there is no line. I would have to say I LOVE there tuna melt. never tried the gyro but my friends love it. But if you want the HOME style of a sandwich and bread but with taste here is good. Also the people who own this business has cleaned the place up a lot I remember when it was unclean I’m sure than it had been a different owner, but the people are very nice

i really want to bash this place, but i’v ebeen eating there all week, and everything i’ve had has been reasonably good. Think asian sandwhich place, nothing is bad, the quality is good. The big thing, is that you expect a place like this nestled into a bunch of office parks to be the worst food ever, and this place is way way better than your expectation will leady ou to think. I keep going, it’s still yummy. Sandwhich is $ 5 plus whatever you get. Not too bad. They even have this cute gyro sandwhich that is kinda a nice try, but a little off, but actually tastes great! it’s neat. I reccomend it is you’re landlocked out in the middle of the office jungle over here and don’t feel like going anywhere further into lake forest.
