This is located in an office complex where my employer is based in So CA. I came in to take the staff out to lunch which was about 14 folks and about $ 200 out of my pocket! They have a great ambiance, serve yourself drinks(which I like) and full bar. Could not imagine being able to grab a gin martini after work or when burning the midnight oil. They rapidly got us through the order line and brought everyone’s food out in about 10 minutes. The service was impressive. Usually with a large party the food all comes at different time and something is forgotten. I had a chicken wrap and a bowl of bisque. It was delicious and since I am a bisque afficianado, had to try. This is a very expensive location and in Irvine so I know the rent is well above average for So CA. That being said, the food was reasonable priced and I could see myself dining, or drinking or both… several times a week! Great staff, food, prices and conveniently located in the business district within Park Plaza!

I met up with my party before noon for lunch. It was nearly empty but definitely picked up later. It’s a clean, casual place with a wide assortment of dishes. I opted for the Asian Chicken Salad which was very average — the chicken was too dry. At $ 10, it wasn’t worth it. The service was fine until I had to get my parking validated. It seems like after 1:30pm, the number of employees dropped off and I had to wait a little longer. Worse yet, the validation didn’t work even though I was within the two hour period. I had to pay $ 12 which I wasn’t happy about. I notified management afterwards and although they apologized for my experience, they didn’t offer to reimburse me for the parking. They blamed it on my cell phone for possibly demagnetizing the parking ticket. That may or may not be true except I park in these structures about once a week and this is the first time this has happened. When will these businesses realize that they need to make things right when their customers suffer? It was my first time here and I won’t be back and don’t recommend you do too. Check out Eats instead. Even though it’s a sit-down, the food is great with comparable prices.

I previously wrote a review for this place but I’m not sure what happened to it. It may have gotten removed when they changed owners/management. This restaurant is located inside of 1 Park Plaza. I have ordered many, many lunches here but only because I use to work in the building. I wouldn’t come here voluntarily and order food from here mostly because it’s a hassle to get here(you have to park in the parking structure which charges but I heard the restaurant will validate), it’s a little expensive and the food isn’t that great. The restaurant has a wide variety of food ranging from salads, smoothies, sandwiches, burgers, salmon, short rib, etc. They also sell candy, snacks, fruit platters, etc. — so basically something for everyone. The problem is, the quality isn’t that great for most of the dishes. My favorite dish is one I created myself — side of short rib and side of rice & beans. It’s a full meal and pretty good. It’ll fill you up and not too expensive, especially compared to the rest of the menu. The people who work there are constantly being changed(except for a couple of regulars) but everyone tends to be really nice. They also serve alcohol here so if you’ve had a hard day and feel like grabbing a drink — feel free to drop by.

First time here! Taken there by friends/business associates. Excellent food, nice clean environment, casual atmosphere, very friendly staff, and good prices. I will definitely eat here again soon!

The people should know this. Seen multiple occasions where a customer returned their SALADS because it had a BUGINSIDE of it. I wanted to throw up, it wasn’t even my food. A FLY both times, and I know of it happening to other people as well. Overheard the employee say sometimes our lettuce has flies. Utterly DISGUSTING. In a typical food chain like this I’m a lot more comfortable seeing my sandwich being prepared, you don’t get the privilege here. after a lil bit of observation and investigation, chatting up with the employees, I learned 100% they DON’T USEGLOVES when preparing your sandwich. Do you know how filthy the human hand can be? Even when washed. Again my stomach churned. This place is a front for a fine dinning establishment, but is completely unsanitary in my opinion. If you must eat here cause you work in the building, ask for plastic silverware, or deeply clean the forks with warm water yourself. Trust me. I never in my life like spreading any type of negativity but sometimes people should just know the truth. Cause the moment I found all this out I have stop coming here. You have the choice to do as you please, I’m just sharing my experience. Take care Unilocalers

Very delicious and I would highly recommend for a business meeting area, lunch, or even just drinks! everyone is very nice and friendly also. Very helpful and speedy when you request additional items. You must try any of their burgers since they are fantastic! You truly won’t be disappointed!

Update to my last comment. The owner graciously apologized after seeing my last review so I have gone back twice since. My updated review: Service: The wait was again a bit long, especially considering it was not very crowded, but it much better than last time. The kitchen tends to take longer on any custom orders so if you are in a hurry, try not to modify your order. Food: Im a protein & veggies person for lunch and I’ve tried all 3 options here. The best protein options in order of best to worst are: blackened Salmon, grilled chicken, then the skirt steak. The salmon can compete with fine dining establishments in my opinion. Chicken is above average for a lunch place, steak is average. A coworker raves about the breakfast burrito that i may try in the future. Ambiance: nice place geared toward the lunch meeting crowd.

I work in this building and I wish I could give zero stars!!! The food is way overpriced!!! And disgusting!!! There have been days I opt out of eaton lunch just so I don’t have to come here!!! Don’t waste your time or money! Not to mention they are beyond slow!!! I suggest eating a bag of over priced chips the sell cause that’s as good as it gets!!!

Food is great(burgers, salads, and sandwiches have all been tasty). My only issue with them is how long they take on «pick-up» orders. I stand/sit there for at least 15 minutes every time. Today was no exception to my typical wait and it was only for a side of their seasonal veggies(which were bland and made me miss their grilled veggies that used to be on the menu). You won’t find me back here for a while.

The burgers are outstanding. they always take a long time but I’d say it’s worth every minute. Definitely recommend getting any burger on the menu.

The service over the past year has declined pretty tremendously. If I make even just 1 simple customization to my order, it is almost funny how often they miss my request. I work in the same plaza as bistro so it’s convenient, but for the amount of incorrect orders and lack of help from the staff to accommodate and fix it… I will not be returning. The food is ok, but so not worth the hassle, especially for the price you pay. Laura and Adrien were doing a much better job running things, sad that good people left, says something about management most likely.

I’ve been here three times and ordered the same thing every time. The Hanger Steak(not the sandwich, the steak plate) is out of sight. Why try anything else when I come here as infrequently as I do, and the Hanger Steak is so wonderful? Don’t even get picky on how it’s done — just leave the chef to his devices, and you’ll have a flavorful, tender cut of meat with a delightful char on the outside, and a fabulous compound butter. I’m getting one today. LATER: What the heck, I ventured out into burgerland instead. The Dallas Burger — onion strings, bacon, cheese, big patty, big bun, plenty of barbecue sauce. It was plenty good. Their potato salad is also pretty tasty.

The service at Bistro has take an complete nose dive. Ever since Laura and Adrian left it seems like no one knows what they are doing and the new manager seems too distracted to notice. Luckily the taste in the food has not change otherwise they would be in some serious trouble. Hope we can get back to the standard that they got us used to.

This place kinda has horrible service. Waiting 10+ minutes for a chicken salad and only one person has come to check on what I’m waiting for. Writing this review as I wait. It seems as if none of the employees are aware of customers standing by the takeout and customers are constantly be left on the side. No one at the register to take orders either? 4 stars for food, MAYBE2 stars on service.

Stopped in for a smoothie and decided to try their strawberry banana. I asked Laura if it was a powder and she said it was a purée and ice. After receiving it, I came to the conclusion that it was too sweet for my liking. It didn’t taste good at all actually. It tasted exactly like its ingredients. But not to worry, I gave Laura a call and she told me I could return it for something else or a refund. I ordered a Café Mocha Frappé and Chris made an Iced Mocha instead. Bless his heart, he was working alone and got the order confused. The Iced Mocha was too strong, and when Laura emerged from the back she made the correct drink and it was PERFECT! I apologized for being difficult and they didn’t mind. I’ve also tried their BBQ Chicken Salad, Shrimp Po Boy, Turkey Burger, Dallas Burger, French fries, and their fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and all were good. I wouldn’t order the Shrimp Po Boy again, a little too dry, but everything else I’ve ordered a few times. This place gets crazy during lunch time but is very convenient. Friendly staff, cute décor and good food. They also serve alcohol which is nice for those who want a mid-day cocktail. Too bad they close at 4:30pm. I think they would make a killing if they had happy hour from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.

Good salad selection but overpriced. I guess the people that work in these buildings can afford it. Ah I salad is good. Service is bad sometimes. You can’t go wrong with the coffee though. Good place for an informal lunch meeting.

Unimpressed says I. Since my firm moved to the area, I’ve eaten in, gotten food to go, lunch has been catered/delivered and even had food delivered(at $ 5 delivery fee plus tip). The food is fine but overpriced. A sampling of what I’ve had to follow: Burger: just okay, overpriced(it’s no fatburger, it’s no habit, it’s no mick’s) Tuna Melt: good, but I asked for different cheese and I didnt’ get that Orzo Salad: warning, not a salad! Hot side that left a lot to be desired Macaroni-n-Cheese: 3 peeps in my group deemed it okay at best Shoestring Fries: they are fine, but I prefer thicker(more potato) in my fries Roast Beef Sandwich: not much higher quality than Arby’s The Park Plaza Sandwich: I asked for double ham in place of the turkey, didn’t get that. I asked for mayo only, no mustard, I got mustard only. Sandwich includes avocado and bacon, it might as well not, as apparently they use avocado and bacon as a seasoning-flavoring and not actual ingredients. Staff doesn’t know the menu or doesn’t write changes down properly. 2 times a messed up order… how difficult is it? The manager«Lauren» apologized for the many screw ups and sent 1 fully stamped card for a freebie sandwich, a whopping $ 7-$ 8 value. She was argumentative over the Orzo Salad and clearly didn’t care to address the concerns re both the paper menu and online menu descriptions. The young man who delivered was nicer and more apologetic than the manager! Catering for a luncheon: every sandwich was individually wrapped, delivered in a bag. So each sandwich had to be unwrapped and put on a tray. Salads ordered came with 2 small dressing containers. Dry salad for all! Personally, I’ll stick to Jans at 4, delicious/satisfying/reasonably priced.

Came here with a travelzoo on a Friday and had good service. This place is cute… I loved the décor. They validate your parking so don’t forget your ticket… Appetizers — mac n cheese and flat bread were both really good — i would come back for these alone Entrees — Dallas and San Francisco burger w reg and sweet potato fries and the Moroccan Salmon w Orzo. The burgers were great — Should’ve gotten the bistro burger instead — they were both dry. The Salmon was good! Dessert — Crème brûlée and cheesecake. I wish the crème brûlée came out a bit hotter — but it was kinda cold so hard to enjoy and the cheesecake was good Drinks — chocolatini, cadillac & pomtini — drinks were good and very strong! This is def a place to stop by if you’re in need of a drink after a long day at work.
