We were leaving the shopping center when my friend told me that he often chills at D&B. I hear people talk about it often. When we walked in, this awesome smell hits you. Scented candles kind of scent. I loved it. We went to the bar. I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea. Bartender Jeffrey was on point. Delicious. I’d just had one at Red Robin in a big beautiful glass. It was awful. I would have got another, but we were heading home. But I will come again. I’ll even try the Jell-O shots. I’ve never had one before.

Never been to Dave and Busters before but the video game and food selection is crazy! Definitely a place I would come back to. Not really a drinker but decided to grab a few beers and play a couple games.

Yet again another D&B that is poorly managed… Been participating with this company as a whole since 95 too. Same thing over and over– incredibly poor service.

Great place for our staff development experience. Food and service was great for our crew we brought. The atmosphere has changed from before. You can tell a new management team is in place.

So much fun!!! Our first stop was the mini bar on the way to the game room where we ended up buying a pitcher of cinnamango. It was fruity and fantastic! Total came out to about $ 20 with tax, but it was enough for 5 drinks, so not too shabby! We then headed to the tables by the bar and got dinner. The ultimate mac n cheese was great per usual, and we got a small Caesar salad to balance out the heaviness. Total for both came out to another $ 20. Games galore was SUPER fun, of course, but towards the end of the night, their entire system went down so we couldn’t load our tickets onto the card or get prizes :(((I don’t come to D&B super often, so that was a huge bummer. :/ They have a new sidebar club type thing that is on Fri and Sat nights, so we ended up checking it out and staying until midnight. It was super awesome… live dj, good music, cheap drinks… what more could you ask for? Oh… right, dancing people. Haha, it felt like people were too embarrassed/not drunk enough to dance. Luckily, we met some cool people who danced with us. I’m glad they did, cuz my Fitbit got some serious action — I got over 10k steps just from dancing… woo~~ cardio done for the day.

D & B’s is a cool spot in general. Food, drinks and games for the kiddos and adults. The ticket games always seem to suck me in. Damn you Deal or No Deal!

Went here with some co workers for happy hour. They had some good draft beer specials, I believe $ 2.50 Coors light pounders. As well as some different food options at reasonable happy hour prices. Only down side was a leaky beer tap that was all over the floor in front of where my group I was sitting. Just Get that fixed and it would have been a A+

Big game room with lots of games, more then any other I have been too, plus they have a bar inside the game room. Candy crush Temple run and lots of shooters like 100 games to play Yummy in my tummy! Decent Prices on beer! I haven’t tried the food section so it’s a review about the game room.

I came to Dave and Buster’s for a holiday dinner party. The party was in a private room with a video screen, buffet table, and table and chairs for about 40 guests. There are other rooms available for larger parties and some even include pool tables. The menu consisted of 2 kinds of salad, steamed veggies, grilled chicken, lasagna, dessert and drinks. The food tasted fine, and it wasn’t bad for traditional American fare. I liked the fact that we had a private room where private videos, slide shows, and presentations could be shown. I think this would be very beneficial for smaller companies. After the slide show presentation by the host, the staff from D&B broke us up into 4 groups for some game play. The idea was to do some team building exercises. We played a total of 4 games. The 1st game was to see which team could earn the most tickets in a given period of time in the video game arcade. The next challenge was a scavenger hut around the restaurant to see who could find all the items on the list. Finally the last 2 challenges were mental challenges(name all of the 50 states, and name as many sports teams that don’t have the letter«S» in them). These were all fun events for a small company and definitely helped to develop team work. Overall I thought this was a fun event. Even though I am not an employee of this small company event, I thought it was a great way to celebrate a holiday party. It was very interactive, good food, and we had a private room. This is something I would definitely consider if I was hosting a larger scale event. It looks like this would be a good option for adult birthday parties, smaller company events, or other similar gatherings. D&B has several private rooms and some of them look like they could accommodate upwards of 150 people.

I was never a fan of this place until I had kids. It’s like Baby Vegas! I’ve been here twice in the last 6 months and the service has been excellent. The food is just ok. I’ve had the nachos and hot dog bites. My kids love the mac and cheese. A lot of the games are great for toddlers, especially the ones where they can sit down and drive. A few of the games just took our money and didn’t work but it wasn’t worth chasing down a staff member. The bathrooms smell and are in need of a deep cleaning and renovations.

I used to enjoy D&B’s more in the past. This recent time I took my nieces here and the game-room was a little hectic. It’s quite loud in there and hard to hear or concentrate. Some of the machines don’t function properly and it’s hard to find help when a game is having an error. I also had trouble swiping my game card on a few games. The variety of games is vast, but there aren’t that many interesting games. Lots of games are quick pull a lever or push, etc. to try to earn some tickets. Your game coins go pretty quick. On the plus side, it’s a pretty fair price for what you get if you dine here. You can choose the meal deals which will give you a $ 10 or $ 20 game card with your meal. Food is ok, you’re not getting anything fancy or best quality but it’s filling. The Ultimate Mac n Cheese was actually pretty good, but the other items like the Turkey BLT, Chicken Tenders, Ribs, are just ok. I got a Philly Cheesesteak which didn’t look great but tasted better than I thought. Service for my dinner was good, he was very attentive and all orders came out as expected. I can’t remember his name though but he made it an enoyable experience. I also come to D&B’s for Sunday football. The cool thing about this is that you can rent a speaker which lets you hear the audio from any of the games they are displaying on their multiple screens. They have drink and food specials during games. The bad thing is that they aren’t really organized about what games to display. They seem to take many requests from guests and that can lead to some repeat games being shown. Overall, 3 stars because you get a variety of things to do like eat, play, watch sports, drink. It’s somewhat fun depending on what you’re looking to get into and how long you want to stay.

There’s always a level of moderate trepidation when I even hear the name Dave and Busters. Why? I suppose it’s because I know I’m going to be assaulted on all fronts when it comes to managing agoraphobic tendencies and failing. For the most part this wasn’t the case tonight – until I went to the restroom, but I will save that until end of this story. The night started off with us attending a UFC viewing event here at DnB in the Irvine Spectrum. It was a nice crowd coordinated by their marketing manager Popeye.(Yes, that’s his real name – it’s just that cool). There was excitement in the air as we all sat in anticipation ready for the Luke Rockhold fight and also Aldo versus McGregor. I started off with a chicken Caesar salad and Jon got a grilled chicken club with sweet potato fries. The Caesar was wonderful with the lettuce crisp and fresh and the chicken grilled to perfection: crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. The use of Parmesan was generous but not over-the-top and added just the most wonderful flavor. Jon had a big smile on his face eating that grilled chicken club and sweet potato fries. The fights were being televised on the array of large-screen TVs all well placed within easy viewing distance. Each fight was exciting and it added to the excitement and enjoyment of the evening. This all had the makings of a wonderful evening right up until I had to go to the bathroom. First of all the journey from the viewing room to the bathroom was a trek from one side of DNB to the other, quite far. Not that I minded the walk, dodging kids and parents along the way, but it was what was waiting for me at the end of this walk that turned it a little downhill. When I got to the restroom you could tell it was a little unkept. But rather than use the standup urinals that seemed a little too close to each other, I deferred to one of the stalls. This is where it looked like World War III had just taken place. Mind you I understand that DNB is busy, but neglecting bathroom cleanliness, that’s a dealbreaker. I won’t post pictures of what I saw on the floor, but it wasn’t #1. I must’ve gone to the bathroom a few times that evening over the course of 2 to 3 hours, and that bathroom was never addressed. I guess what I’m trying to say is, with one course correction, a big one, this location is salvageable. But they really need to get on it ASAP. Please DNB help us!

Four appetizers on happy hour only: potato skins, spinach/artichoke dip, quesadillas and boneless buffalo wings. Half off drinks and other deals for beer/wine until 7pm, but the server talked so fast I wasn’t able to catch the rest. For what it is, Dave n Busters is a fun place to play some games and get some dranks. To come here for dinner, I would probably suggest going elsewhere unless you like screaming children running around. What I do enjoy are the games! It’s a good place to let the inner child in you roam free from classic arcade, 3d immersive experience play, action sports, carnival types, or test of strength, skill or wits. I especially enjoy the crowds near DDR. Some of those guys are so intense! It’s a fun place to be with great company.

Recently met with our friends from New Zealand here. Based on their experience and having been able to ensure they had fun, we all had a great visit to leave a review. They really loved the fact there is FREEWIFI in all of Irvine Spectrum! They have two young daughters and our son, and our guests’ only request was it needed to have French fries. With that in mind I thought of Spectrum with the giant Ferris wheel and Dave & Busters, a perfect kid-friendly fun place with American meals that included French fries. Despite that it’s loud in the game room as expected, the girls really got a big kick out of the place. They wanted to sit in the game room to eat. The kids amused themselves with all the games and the parents could hang out and chat. Meal was great. Everything that came out from my chicken(10⁄2015 this was the chicken and shrimp(w/o bacon wrap) in a lobster sauce; w/o mash potatoes substituted sweet potato fries) to the salads and the kids entrees looked exactly like the menu! That was impressive. Even our cocktails looked exactly as pictured in the menu. So often I’ve received items based on a photo and it comes out looking rather skimpy. But not here. It was all delicious. Everyone loved their meals. Our server was excellent. She was really attentive, too! Kids cleared their plates and made a beeline to redeem their ticket prizes. Even the prize room has a great assortment of prizes. Not the typical plastic toys I’ve seen in other places. My son got a funny«no fart coin jar» as a prank for his dad. There’s a funny«no swear» coin jar too. Plush Hello Kitty, candy(full size candy too, not like the measly tootsie rolls). The girls got a cool headset that have fun blinking LED lights. Photo booth in the game room as well. Also, FYI they charge you a replacement card fee so if you have the Dave & Busters cards keep them on hand for future visits. It’s the first time I’ve seen a game location actually show a different price for a replacement or new card vs a price for a ticket quantity package. Overall, great spot to bring kids and families.
