I ordered delivery, so I can only speak for that. Except I don’t see how it could taste any better eating there. I’m a pizza lover, it usually takes a lot for me not to enjoy a pizza. I ordered The Godfather. The dough was bland and the cheese was a bit stiff. It just seems like the ingredients are poor quality, which doesn’t make sense because the medium was $ 20. I could have gone to z-pizza for that price. The hot wings were soggy and chewy at the same time. I could only eat one. These are in comparison to the hot wings they sell at Costco. Again, for the price of $ 10 I could have ordered some delicious wing stop. The parmesan fries were also soggy, and had no taste. They tasted like the cheap option of store bought. Only $ 5 an order though so not to bad there. If you decide to order, get yourself some extra ranch dressing. It will help add some flavor.

What happened! When we lived here we loved eating here or getting pizza to go… in town visiting and thought we try a dependable place. What a disappointment. The quality of food has really gone down. Dominos is better. The pizza was horrible, the chicken strips pathetic and can’t even eat the wings too spicy and soggy. Even the ranch dressing I loved so much is bland.

I enjoy Gina’s. If anything else, at least parking is not as ridiculous as UTC. You come to this parking lot, and you feel like you can breath. If you take a deep enough breath, you can probably actually smell the nearby Del. Came here w some family and got a sausage sando. It was fairly average. The sausage tasted good, but the bread wasn’t that great. All in all though, it was pleasant. The service is extremely friendly and it’s clean, and that goes a long way for me.

I’m sorry… did I order s box of cardboard or a couple of pizzas?! Terrible, arrived cold, bland, flavorless, stiff, chewy dough, felt under cooked and soggy. Just not good at all, literally couldn’t eat more than a bite, before putting it down. Pretty pricey for the size and quality also. Cannot recommend.

The pizza is extraordinary. Excellent quality and taste. Their house made ranch is heavenly. Their marinara is also delicious. About half the time we order calzones. The calzones are the bomb(ricotta and mozzarella plus 3 toppings). Sadly, the size of the calzones have been regularly inconsistent. There have been times when we ordered two calzones and one was significantly smaller than the other. On a couple of occasions they were out of ricotta for the calzones but didn’t let us know when we ordered(we found out afterwards). Even so, I am glad that this place is nearby because the food is just that good.

If you want a good Italian pizza, don’t go there. I ordered margarita pizza and they gave me a pizza with a lot of raw tomatoes on that with a little bit cheese and no basil or oregano. The taste was also awful. I can definitely say that it was one of the worst pizzas that I have ever eaten.

Thank you to the sweet woman who took my order tonight!!! Stressful day. Husbands gone for work. Kids all want different items when usually then share and omg crazy Specific Orders. She was so kind and helpful. Didn’t mind all the little details of the order and had such a cheery up-beat personality! Made me relax knowing at least dinner is coming just how they want it! And please delivery drive don’t look at the messy house but this is our favorite go-to place when daddy’s out of town mommy is tired from work and need to have a delicious dinner and so over the idea of cooking. And I must say when I first called she repeated exactly what my last order was including«extra ranch extra this or that» this is why I love ginas pizza!

Gina’s pizza is truly an exquisite Irvine dining experience. After years of eating at Blaze and Dominos I thought all hope was lost, and that my pizza eating days would have to be over. However, a friend of mine eats at the Irvine location frequently and recommended I try it. I stopped by later in the evening last week, and I was greeted with very friendly service. An extremely attractive waitress took my order swiftly and answered every one of my many questions. During the short wait for my food, any staff I happened to make eye contact with offered up a smile, and made me feel right at home as I was relaxing in a corner booth. Not to mention the wonderful elegance of succulents and freshly lit tea light candles are an excellent addition to the dining experience. Ladies and gentleman, this pizza will be, until my dying day, the best pizza every consumed or concocted in the world. Any presentation of a pizza, no matter how audacious, whether Bobby Flay or Guy Fieri trying to match it on the food network, could remake a pizza the way I had it here. Please do yourself a favor a treat yourself to this delicacy.

Absolutely amazing pizza. This place cannot compare with bigger named places like Pizza Hut or dominios. Although Gina’s a bit more in price, the quality of food is on an entire new level than the other spots. This place is cozy with some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. It’s great for both dates or a family night out. Definitely one of Irvine’s highlights.

I love this place so much!!! Their food is always delicious and fresh and the staff is friendly and fun and always go out of their way to make your experience great. My fave dish is the spaghetti and meatballs. They hand make the meatballs and you can tell. Soooo yummy! Also if you love meat and garlic. You have to try the Godfather pizza. It’s the best pizza I’ve ever had. Its hard to pick one dish. I have never had anything there I didn’t love and I’m Italian!

They gave us the food we ordered but added 6 Italian, 3 marinara and forgot our 2 ranch. The recipes clearly stated 2 of each. The manager gave us the option to refund our 2 sides of ranch for $ 1.00 or have the driver bring us 2 sides of ranch. By the time a driver returns to our home the food would be cold so we offered to return the food they brought for new hot food, and they said no that was not possible. We do not keep ranch in our home as this is a «cheat day» meal and we were greatly looking forward to our calzone! Unfortunately, this is a 2 star because of the customer service. Sorry Gina’s, we won’t be ordering from you again. *****They replaced our salad and brought us 2 cups of ranch after much debate.

How I heard of this place: My sister! Type of cuisine: «Slow cooking all of our dishes and sauces from the finest ingredients and making as much as possible from scratch. Gina was great because she refused to lower her standards and at Gina’s Pizza we have the same mission.» Pizza. Pasta. Done right. Ambiance: Casual, clean, new. A space intended for families or larger parties to sit and enjoy a filling, satisfying meal together, indoors or out. Place your order at the counter, take your seat, enjoy the food as it’s brought to your table. What I ordered: We started with the Chicken Parmesan Strips($ 7.99) to share, then indulged in my sister’s favorite, the House Special Pizza, «The Original Gina’s Favorite» with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, roasted peppers, red onion, freshly-made pizza sauce, and mozzarella. What I loved: Everything. Each bite better than the last. To the last bite. Why I loved it: Simple food done right. Very right. Cost: Approximately $ 25 per family-sized pie

What a heifer… I went here for dinner. It’s my birthday, so I can eat whatever I want ok? Haha. I really like this place! Patio seating, the light fixtures in here are cute, the tables are nice and sturdy. Our server was sweet and attentive. The pizza was so delicious! Cheese was just right. Caprese salad was good as well. I love the convenience of the location! I would like to come back!!!

Came here at 6:30PM to order take out since I’m craving for pizza and fries but too lazy to walk to other places or drive anywhere. This place is half packed with people who got off work already drinking beer and noise level here is pretty loud. I ordered with a guy name Ryan and he was informative with what to order and how to order pizzas here. I got the small combo pizza(2 toppings max) or you can get the special pizza which you just add more money. The price for a small 12″ combo is $ 13.99, slightly pricier than Blaze Pizza since they offer $ 8 and you can get whatever topping you want too. I also ordered a side of fries $ 4.99. Order came out to be $ 18.98 for a dinner. I feel that it is on the expensive side for regular college students so that would probably be the reason why there are more adults here than UCI kids. I think if they did a little something for students specifically, they’ll have more UCI kids here. Over all, my Togo order was good. The pizza looks yum but the fries were so little for $ 4.99 but service was good!

Tried out for the 1st time based on the great reviews and pics. My pizza was missing one of the three key elements on a margherita pizza… BASIL I was bummed out for a second, but thankful I have 2 basil plants… I added my own. As for future orders… on the fence.

Okay so you ready for some cheese? And more cheese? Cos the pizzas here are super cheesy. I was able to try the margherita pizza and the bbq chicken pizza. What did they have in common? SUPERCHEESY. The bbq chicken pizza didn’t compare to CPK’s but it was still solid. Although it was skimpy with the meat, the cheese added plenty of flavor. The margherita pizza was also good, and the tomato came in dices instead of whole slices, which I actually appreciated. However, for people who may consider choosing margherita because it is usually the«healthier» option, keep in mind that this ends up being just as oily and fatty as the bbq chicken one! Downside, the crust for the pizza is too doughey. It has no crunch nor crisp. I almost didn’t bother finishing the crusts, but I was too hungry and needed some more dough to offset the cheesy sogginess of the rest. I would definitely try the pastas and appetizers here when I’m ready for more cheesiness, of course.

Gina is a gift from the pizza gods. Yes, it may be a bit expensive, but you’re paying for quality over Pizza Hut. Fresh ingredients, so much customization and excellent service. Whenever my best friend’s in town, we always go out of our way to head over to Gina’s to share a large pesto pizza, subbing out eggplant for chicken. And that. is at no extra cost! If you think about it, a $ 22 – 25 for a large pizza is about 2 meals for 2 people… not a bad deal guys, as the large size is seriously large. They don’t skimp on the food here! The pesto is delicious, the chicken isn’t dry and the crust is the fluffiest. And… they put the right amount of ingredients and cheese, and for me, that means a LOT of cheese. They get me. We usually order over the phone, and within 15 – 20 minutes, it’s always waiting for us. Picking up pizza from Gina’s is always a happy experience. Dining in, there’s lot of tables for big groups, beer on tap and even outdoor seating. The pizza slices here are HUGE, they even advertise how big they are. Excellent pizza, service and atmosphere. A staple for the Irvine community.

Gina’s pizza is probably the embodiment of the quintessential American style pizza. By that, I mean the pie is thick and the sauce and cheese are generously piled on. So if you’re looking for an authentic thin crust, modestly topped Italian pie, this might not be what you’re looking for. Anyway, the pizza here is really delicious. We came here on a Friday night and ordered a small(pretty expensive – $ 18 – just a heads up), and it took around twenty minutes for them to make it. I’m assuming that means it was made and baked fresh. We got the margarita, which was pretty good. The toppings were generous and tasted very fresh. Really satisfying, so come hungry. The place is clean and homey feeling, and the service was great. I definitely see myself coming back since I live right across the street.
