The Mediterranean salad had a great light dressing. It was definitely tasty but there was not much greens in there and only two ounces of chicken. The chicken was so so moist with a lot of flavor, must say it was some of the best chicken I’ve had. Unfortunately it was only two ounces. There was a lot of couscous, more so then salad which I didn’t like. The couscous was Israeli couscous so it was pasta. I wanted more salad because after all it’s called a «salad» not a «pasta salad.» They didn’t have much cheese in there either. Maybe a couple of crumbs. I wouldn’t order this salad again.

I’ve been to this location more than 30 times this year, and for the past two visit I’m thinking to stop going. Plates smell awful makes me want to puke… Also today we ordered Cornish chicken and it smelled horrible. Very disappointed I think the service and quality is not the same:(

I went here for the 1st time in my birthday! I absolutley love it because Geradrdo was a great server and once he found out it was my birthday he offered me a free dessert. I will def be coming here more often. Very clean restrooms too :) Overall the price is worth the portion size, goo service, and clean :)

A little let down with Luna Grill. I live right by this shopping center and this place always looks like it has a good amount of customers buzzing about. I decided to try it out and stopped by to order take out for the Gyro plate. It didn’t take long for my food to get ready, but I was not very pleased with the amount of food they gave me. I feel like they were skimping on the gyro meat. The white rice was also a bit oily but flavorless. The greek salad I substituted was decent and the pita bread was good. Overall, I feel like there are better places to get Gyro plates in the area. Perhaps this place is better for the chicken kabob or beef koobideh.

I just went to Luna Grill on Alton and culver for a mediterranean lunch treat, One of the servers named Jake was amazing his customer service was impeccable !!! I felt very taken care of, I was impressed !! And I was happy to see a grass fed burger on the menu and got it with Sadziki(yogurt garlic cucumber) sauce instead of what they usually put on it? and an extra slice of cheese… now I don’t know what kind of cheese that was but it was so so delish and so was the meat! It came with a side salad or french fries. I got the salad which was good but then ordered a side of fries as well and the fries were really good to! I recommend this place to anybody who wants a nice place to sit down and tasty Mediterranean food for $ 10-$ 12 and great service by Jake

Great service, great food. This is Mediterranean done right. I don’t know one person who doesn’t like this place. My picks: combination plate with chicken kabob and ground sirloin. The meat is cooked perfectly. I also think their fries and sauces are great. Ask for the chipolte sause. Avoid: wasn’t too impressed with the wrap. Stick with the kabobs.

I’ve been to the hb location, this one is actually closer to me. I had the Greek salad with falafel and a chicken kebab on the side. The chicken was very hearty and flavorful. The pieces are huge and I only finished three our of the five. The falafels are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside like they should be. Overall, way better than chains like Daphnes for some Mediterranean food. The salad greens were fresh and I liked that it consisted a mix of spring greens and romaine. The staff here is very friendly.

I’ve always hesitated coming in here in fear of tasting bad falafel, a girlfriend suggested we meet here for dinner. I’m glad we went! The ambiance is very electic, great colors and décor. The patio is heated and make you feel like you’re outside of California. Amazing food :). Mickey gave awesome service!

Really good Mediterranean food at fair prices. So I visited with friends and we all left fat & happy. It’s not quite a restaurant, but it’s not take-out either. So if you’re like me and don’t like take-out for dinner Luna is a good option. LOCATION and AMBIANCE(Rating 4) It’s clean, easy to get into with a decent amount of parking. It was busy when we showed up but a table opened up pretty quickly. The décor is «funky», with odd chandelliers(I’m sure somebody might like them) and red chairs. SERVICE(Rating 3.5) They were so busy they didn’t bring everything out at once and I had to remind them about what was missing more than once. CHICKENKABOB&GYROPLATE(Rating 4) So this is my «go-to» order at virtually all Mediterranean restaurants so I can honestly compare pretty easily. My verdict, they do a pretty good job and offer healthy portions(unlike some other restaurants) that I won’t mention.(Starts with… Daph). You won’t leave thinking this is the best you’ve ever had, but I’d go back in a minute when I am craving Mediterranean.

What I ate: Spinach Pie(spanikopita) — comes with two big pieces for 6.00, and THAT’S a deal! This was really good. Very flaky and cheesy. Gryos wrap with upgraded Greek salad — pita was super soft and gyro meat was extremely flavorful. Salad could have had a couple more olives and a little more dressing, but it was still pretty good. Ground sirloin(koobideh kabab) plate with an extra kabob of lamb tenderloin. The koobideh was awesome! Very flavorful. The lamb was amazing! I could eat their lamb all day, every day. Super flavorful! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Jake. I really enjoyed everything and would definitely come back. The one thing I didn’t like was that there were no veggies other than salad, like some grilled zucchini or something. I really need veggies with my meal and get very tired of salad. 4.5 stars for the lack of veggies, but I’ll round up to a 5 since everything else was really wonderful!

Amazing! I’ve only had Mediterranean food once or twice before so I wasn’t a fan of it until I tried Luna Grill. I’m so glad my friend recommended this place! I got the chicken kabob plate and I loved it! I didn’t really like the roasted carrot but that’s ok. lol The people working there were all so nice and helpful when I was choosing what to order. The only con was that it was just a little pricey. But thank you Luna Grill! I’m actually excited to try other Mediterranean food places now! Definitely coming back here to try other things too!

The service was GREAT as was the décor and the prices are a good value! All those merit a 5 star … BUT… The food was mediocre at best. The chicken kabob was dry and a bit overcooked(it was obviously already cooked and then reheated when brought out to us) The rice was good and the salad was good, but it was hard to over look the dry chicken **** UPDATE ***** I was there again last night after receiving an email from Amber and Rebecca from Luna Grill upper management. I was SOIMPRESSED on how hard they worked to reach out to me that I felt compelled to try Luna Grill again and I am glad I did! I ordered the filet kabob this time(I just couldn’t try the chicken again… lol) and it was really good! It was tender and full of flavor and the salad was good too!!! I am glad I tried them again!!! Thank you Amber, Rebecca and the rest of team Luna Grill *** HIGHLYRECOMMENED ***

I love Luna Grill because the food is simple and complete. Here are my pro’s and Con’s: Pro’s: Fresh simple, nutritious food. Grilled chicken or beef over the most delicious rice and salad. The décor is clean, efficient, and welcoming. The prices are reasonable. The meat is cooked over a flame on a skewer. Simple marinated meat, lightly spiced, and grilled perfectly. Con’s: Maybe more of a variety on their menu? How about fish? How about a Luna burger? It’s a bit expensive, but we usually share. Enjoy Luna Grill.

Well, I won’t be coming here anymore just on principle. Ordered online so that I could pick up quickly. People were in line ordering with the male cashier so I walked up to female expediter who was standing behind the counter who was just looking at the order screen and told her I had a pick up order and she told me I had to wait in line, which is not typically true for a phone order I already paid for online. So I waited thinking, weird, maybe they have a different process. Even though I could see the receipt with the signature receipt(for me to sign) visibly stapled to the outside of the bag. When I got to the male cashier, he simply printed out another copy of the receipt for me to sign. I asked him if typically one had to wait in line to pick up a phone order. He said no. I asked him why she told me I had to wait in line. He said I don’t know but I will communicate it to her. I worked in the food industry. It is common knowledge that phone orders don’t have to wait in line with people who are ordering normally. Kinda defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. Train your people better Luna Grill. I won’t be back here.

Came in today with my sister for lunch and was expecting just okay Mediterranean food. But to my surprise, everything was soooo delicious! We got spicy hummus with pita bread, I got Mahi Mahi, and she got chicken kebabs. Our plate came with long grain white and yellow rice, a small salad, 3 pita breads, and your choice of grilled tomato or carrots. The Mahi Mahi was so juicy and delicious. It was like melt in your mouth buttery delicious. I personally hate it when fish is too greasy and thin. The cut of fish was pretty thick and good portion. The chicken kebab as was pretty good too!(: But my favorite would definitely have to be the spicy hummus and pita bread. I love pita bread in general but the spicy hummus was so good and had really nice flavor! Definitely coming back! ** SERVICE is also really good and friendly!

I’ve been trying to expand my family’s palate a bit lately. I mean they’ve always been open to trying new things but definitely no where adventurous as I would like them to be. I knew that my parents would be receptive to Mediterranean if they would just give it a try so I jumped at the opportunity when we were out for a business meeting with our realtor. The restaurant was actually more crowded that I would have thought since it was actually around 1:30PM but thankfully there was plenty of seating. Here is how it works. You order at the front, and then they give you a number, find a seat and then you wait. Water and such is all self serve. We all opted to get plates. They include house salad, basmati rice, pita bread, cucumber yogurt dip, and your choice of carrots or grilled tomato. I was able to sample the Chicken Kabob Plate and the Filet Beef Kabob Plate. Out of the two, I think the beef actually tasted better even though I generally prefer chicken kabobs. This was mainly because I thought the chicken while juicy and cooked properly could have used a tad more seasoning. The beef on the other hand was a perfect medium and was seasoned properly. As for the sides, they were very generous with the rice. Almost to the point where the meat to rice ratio was off. For the price, we were expecting more protein rather than fillers. The salad was just average and I would recommend getting the carrots over the tomato because the tomatoes were completely burnt when they came out. Almost to the point of inedible. The carrots however were quite delicious. The only downside to Luna Grill is that it is a little expensive. The portion size is smaller than what I am used to at other Mediterranean restaurants. However, the service was friendly and more importantly my parents walked out with a new found appreciation for Mediterranean cuisine so it’s a pretty good spot to grab some lunch. 4⁄5

Why isn’t this restaurant in Claremont? The food was incredible. The line was a bit long for dinner and it took a while to place the order but once I sat down to wait for my food it came quickly and it was great. I ordered the chicken and steak kabobs on a bed of rice. The plate was huge and it came with a roasted tomato, pita bread, cucumber yogurt and some fries(did not expect that, but ok). Meal was great and there was so much left over for the next two days. The outdoor patio seating was great for people watching and inside there are a bunch of TV screens playing entertainment related talk shows. The restaurant is situated near the outdoor Mall’s Edwards Cinemas and there is valet parking very close by so you don’t have to drive around for hours looking for parking which makes it I credibly convenient. A great place to grab a quick bite to eat then walk around or go see a movie. I’ll be coming back for sure.

I hate it when a great spot goes off the rails. Oh Westpark Luna Grill, what happened between us? I loved your healthy salads and proteins and you loved… well, my money. It was a perfect arrangement up until now. I have had issues on my last 3 visits, all of them deal killers. Firstly, if you order a beer you won’t see it until the food comes out and even then there is a 50% chance you will have to remind them it was ordered to begin with. Second, the quality of the produce went down the tubes. The salads of late were wilted and browning. Last: the employees are defeated. The floor and tabletops are now always a mess and the employees are just waiting to get off of their shift. You can read it in both care factor and body language. Clearly Luna Grill is suffering from acute management issues and I hope that they are able to turn it around before it is too late but for now I have to post a one star review in 2 star clothing. Luna, get it together or at least ask nearby Jalapeño’s how this ends. Oh wait, you can’t.

I think I’ve found my favorite Mediterranean spot! Food is delicious, portions are generous, prices are affordable and the restaurant itself is very clean with modern/unique décor. Definitely would recommend this spot to anyone looking for awesome Mediterranean food. My girlfriend and I came in for dinner and we had no idea what to order. We spent a couple minutes looking through Unilocal and the cashier kindly offered us some recommendations. I finally settled on the chicken kebab plate. The chicken kebab plate came with salad, rice, pita bread, and your choice of either carrots or roasted tomatoes. I was so surprised at the amount of food on my plate when it was served to me. Everything was really really good. Loved the dressing they used on my salad, the pita bread was warm and soft and the chicken was juicy, tender and very well seasoned. It was so much food I could only eat half and had to box the rest to take home. I also got to try their spicy hummus that my friend had ordered and it was probably the best hummus I’ve ever had. MUSTTRY! It’s a good amount of hummus with tons of pita bread to pair with. The spice definitely adds a great kick to it as it is something I’m not used to but definitely fell in love with. I cannot wait to come back to try the other items on the menu!

Originally wasn’t sure what this place was until I step foot inside — didn’t know if it was Mexican or Chinese food. Good gracias, it was Mediterranean! The name threw me off. Anyways, came here for lunch with my coworker. Place is spacious and wasn’t crowded with a lunch rush. Good/bad sign? Shrug. I ordered the Gyro plate which came with salad, rice, and my choice of carrots. The carrots were amazing — definitely the best thing on the plate. I enjoyed the rice as Gyro as well. However, I will say that the Gyro was a bit too salty for me and it wasn’t as tender as other Gyro meat I’ve had. I left the salad alone because I ended up finding a metal thin shard in it. Totally perplexed as to where that would even come from in the kitchen. It looked like one of those metal pieces from a sponge that you scrub dishes down with, but still unsure of where it came from. I’m not a avid salad eater anyways so that didn’t completely damper my dish down. However, still not an excuse to provide inedible things to a customer — that knocked a star off. My overall experience was just okay.
