Nami’s Skin Care & Electrolysis

I start going to this salon for hair removal. Salon is very clean and they are very friendly!
it is easy to park, and easy to make appointments.
I am thinking to start also facials too for make skin younger and healthier.
For my hair removal, I think I will go there as many as possible.
Price is average comparing other skin care salon, they are very details and they do really good job!

I have kept going to this salon for 1 year to treat my acne.
Nami-​san is so professional and always helpful.
I tried green peel (one time) and electrolysis (about 10 times) on my face.
Gradually and clearly my face improved and now, I can go out without makeup.
No acne anymore. Since I will go back to my country, I am not able to go to the salon and so sad. Thanks to Nami’s skin as they changed my life and gave me a confidence!!!

Clean place and very convenient since it is easy to make appointments. The owner Nami is great at what she does and is personable and professional. I highly recommend coming here for electrolysis. They are quick and want to make sure you feel comfortable throughout the process.

I found that my initial consultation and conversation with Nami to be most helpful and professional. As a doctor, I felt she was extremely qualified and did not push ‘treatments’ but her initial phone conversation was professional, follow up treatment excellent and I expect good results.
I will continue to review the treatments as I am working with my dermatologist on this hair removal.

Electrolysis review for Kiyoko.
OK, I won’t lie… it’s not the most comfortable, pain-​free kind of experience. But no pain, no gain (or something like that!) :)
Kiyoko is this cute little lady, very good at what she does (although all I know is her electrolysis skills!).
There’s no groupon or anything like that, but appt is easy to get, staff are friendly, place is clean, no waiting, and most importantly, it works!!!
Highly recommend!

I have been using Nami’s for electrolysis. I love Naomi she is kind, patient, and professional. She made sure to inform me well about the procedure and she is not interested in pressuring clients to upsell products. I have been here only 3 times but I know I will be coming back a lot more. I am even tempted to try some of their other services. I recommend this place 5 stars!

If you are considering permanent hair removal, I highly recommend this place. The owner, Nami is not just nice and friendly, but she is quick, articulate, and thorough:) I’ve tried lasers many times, but it takes forever to get rid of hair and you have to deal with some ingrown hair time-​to-​time. Electrolysis seems to be the best way to keep your skin nice and smooth :)

I’m definitely a regular at Nami’s. I come here on a weekly basis and always get a great service from all the staff. They are so clean and neat.
I have had session with both Nami and Naomi on hair removal and Endermologie. They were both friendly and comfortable to be around. When I first started my session with endermologie, I was a bit skeptical, but they are so professional and I saw improvement on my skin as the weeks pass!

I have been going to Nami for almost 2 years and I am very glad that I met her. She know a lot of about skin care and wellness.
I first went there for back facial and electrolysis.
I had really bad acne on my back. It was very dry and itchy. She check my back and told me right away that it was caused by ingrown hairs. The reason is that I got tanned a lot so the skin got thicker and it became harder for the hair to come out. She suggested a couple of treatments, which were electrolysis and exfoliation. I tried both and after a couple of treatments it became SO MUCH BETTER! Now I barely have breakouts on the back.
She also suggested me other products for my facial acne and of course, it got better!
Now, my main treatment is electrolysis on the bikini line. I am getting a very good result. I got busy so I couldn’t come in for a couple of months but it is half way there to be completely gone:)
I love that she doesn’t push me to buy the products or get other treatments. This is one of the reason why I feel very comfortable to go there.

My mother found Ms. Nami in the various Japanese magazines that she reads and she made an appointment for me today in the morning. My main concern was the size of my pores and also I wear makeup everyday and have not had a facial/​cleaning in all the years that I’ve been wearing makeup. We arrived at 8am and after talking in the lobby area for a few minutes Ms. Nami recommended me trying the Green Peel Facial. Ms. Nami before even touching my skin or anything, just by looking at it, said that I need to get it cleaned thoroughly and bring new skin out.
I was lead into the back where all the rooms are. It is a very, very nice spa and the bed Ms. Nami has are super comfortable and she even has a little thin blanket type sheet to cover yourself in because it does get a little chilly. Since my main concern was the size and expansion of my pores she made me lay on my back and then took a lamp and thoroughly inspected my skin. She told me straight that my pores were very, very clogged and that she would need to unclog some of them before even proceeding to start the peel. The next thing she did was she washed my face with a foam like face wash and after wiping it all off she brought out a steamer and I laid under the steamer for a good 5 minutes. She then proceeded to clean out only the bigger clogged pores. She told me I had a lot so it would take a while and it would hurt a little. I did have a lot of bigger clogged pores, :’(, but the process of Ms. Nami taking them out didnt hurt as much. It was simply her applying pressure and squeezing out the dirt/​oils. It feels the same as when you try to pop a pimple; not painful at all.
After cleaning all my bad parts out she then scrubbed my face with a scrub for 5 minutes or so. This step was kinda painful because it takes off a lot of the dead/​bad skin on top and it makes it feel kinda raw. The cream/​serum she put on afterwards stung quite a bit. It was soothing afterwards but when she puts it on right after it does sting.
Next, she put on this serum that had this AMAZING smell of lavenders. This serum smells so good! After the serum is applied she then actually puts on the face mask. After the face mask is applied she leaves the room and you lay there for about a good 10 – 20 minutes I believe. Ms. Nami dims the light and plays soothing music so I fell asleep and took a nap.
After you lay there for a while Ms. Nami comes back and wipes the mask off. The taking off of the mask stings as well. It kinda feels like your skin is prickling. Right after she took off the mask my skin starting to tingle. It felt really weird and I told her it kinda felt like little bugs were pricking me. She explained to me that my skin was already reacting and making new skin.
After all this is done she put on this tinted cream, for ladies I believe, and this part probably stung the most. My skin was like new skin and the cream stung/​tingled a lot.
She said I could look into the mirror and when I did I was stunned. Amazed is more of the word. My skin looked SO good. I couldnt even recognize it! I almost couldnt believe it! After only one treatment there is no way my skin could look so good! My pores were visibly smaller/​almost non existant in some areas. My skin was dewy and very fresh looking. When I’m not wearing makeup I have some reddish areas on my face but none of this was there! I couldnt believe it! I even told Ms. Nami I feel like I’m looking at someone else’s skin!
She then told me it only get better… WHAT?! It gets better!!! She told me my old/​bad skin and oils will slowly come out in the next few days and my skin will look even better.
Like I said I COULDNT believe it! She recommended that I come back in again in two weeks and get a deep cleansing done to get out all the oils that didnt come out this time. I will definitely continue to come to Ms. Nami for any facial needs as even this one time made a HUGE difference in how I look.
The price was not even much compared to all the steps and treatments she did and how amazing your skin looks afterwards. The Green Peel is $ 140 and then with tip I paid $ 168. I think that is such a good deal for how significantly this one time changed my skin.
I would definitely consider coming to Ms. Nami for any skincare problems as she addresses a ton of issues!
