The staff here are very professional and friendly, they not only treat your skin carefully but give you useful advice as well (such as what to eat and what not to eat). I came here to treat my skin problem, but I also get relaxed, very nice place! Highly recommended for pretty ladies!!!

The service is really good. They will carefully explaine to customers the fuctions of different machines and provide the treatment which is better for you.

I have been going to New Vogue for a couple years now since the new management and the services I received have been very professional. The place has great atmosphere for beauty service settings, and they offer different kinds of services including basic facial. The basic facial is scheduled for an hour and every time I have my facial done they always run overtime, which is a good thing becasue they really take the time to take care of their clients. I have also tried the microdermabration, back care, and full body polish and received great service from them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone to give them a try.

So here’s the deal. The receptionist was nice, proceeded to let me know he was a licensed esthetician… Then I let him know I have melasma (discoloration of skin due to hormones) a condition that is very common. He doesn’t know what it is.
He proceeds (very kindly) to let me know of the different facials available. Letting me know which one he thinks is best… One issue, he doesn’t know a lick of what’s happening with my skin… He actually googled it right there.
But then when I asked to actually speak to the person who was going to do my facial I found out that he is basically the gate keeper and they don’t speak English… So… Basically, it’s a shot in the dark… I looked around for licenses but didn’t see any.
Sad. I hate to see businesses not flourish. But the line was drawn when he proceeded to let me know that their way of doing extractions Caucasians don’t like it… Um hold up… What?
Never had that said to me before… Why do they think extractions need to be so painful? Weird.
Gut reaction, leave before you get hurt.

I will not go anyways! No sink in the facial room. The place at corner so it’s not quiet therefore it’s can not relaxing and enjoying. Slimming treatment very poor as I can tell you that wasted my time.

Ok so I walk in there with my mom (yeah what of it… internet) cause she wants to kill some time before dinner and get a facial so being a loving son I decide I would go with her and get a body massage.
I get escorted down the hall into a massage room that was too small. I outstretched the bed (I’m 6 feet) and the entire time the poor asian lady kept commenting on how behemoth I was. Now, I don’t speak a lick of Chinese so she just keeps rambling and I’m just smiling and nodding my head pretending I understand her like I do with my grandma (sad, I know). I hear her grunts as this 5’2″ 100lb asian woman is trying her best to contort my body into these inhumane poses.
So I’m on my back and she makes her way to my lower body massaging my upper thigh and attempts to bend my legs at my waist so I’m in this ‘happy baby’ yoga pose (had to look it up) until SUDDENLY, I realize… I need to fart. Like… BADLY. only problem is im in my boxers, I’ve got this non-​english speaking asian woman at the base of the massage bed 2 feet away from the point of exit and I’m PRAYING I don’t do it. Dear god, it was the most suspenseful 5 minutes of my life.
«Rerax rerax!!!» (trans: relax relax) she yells at me, «you tro tense!!!» DAMN RIGHT IM TENSE, IM TRYING NOT TO FART IN YOUR FACE LADY. She starts rotating my legs being flailed in the air. At this point I’m telling myself, dear god this is going to happen. My only hope is that I don’t spray fecal debris in her face when I do the sinister deed. One rotation… two rotations… this had more suspense than a Michael Bay movie.
She finally stops and tells me the massage is over. OH EM GEE. I made it! I EFFING MADE IT. At this point I feel like a complete stud, no shit (har har har). She leaves the room and I just lay there face down. I make sure shes out of ears reach and I let out a silent assassin. It was only then that the effects of the massage took its effect and I felt completely relaxed. I swear, I could have fell asleep right there. I was in heaven.
SO ANYWAYS… this place is awesome. Little english but nice staff. No, there wasn’t a happy ending you perverts.

My sister and I had a very positive experience at this dayspa with the livingsocial deal we purchased. They put us in the same room which we liked and didnt call it a «couples package» to charge us more. They played nice soft music and the two ladies doing our facials were very professional, not talking amongst eachother and only talking to us a little bit when appropriate. We both got the facial and it did last as long as advertised. The extractions were well done and our faces were glowing afterwards. I dont get all the negative reviews. This is not a high end spa that has a whirlpool jacuzzi sauna steam room etc. its just a nice relaxing place to get a quick service and leave. I would def come back.

I visited for a facial and microdermabrasion treatment. I’ve been having microderm treatments for years, and this was by far the worst one I’ve experienced. Before treatment began, I let the facialist know that I just had eyelash extensions applied, and to please be careful. She assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem. Once she began the facial, the first thing she did was start massaging right over my eyes. I had to stop her and remind her again.
After the massage, she began the microderm treatment. The machine was set at a very low level, and I really could not feel much suction. She played around with the settings, but couldn’t seem to figure it out, so my treatment pretty much consisted of her pushing face product and microderm crystals around my face.
The extraction portion of the facial seemed extremely short and rushed. However, I did like the face mask that was applied afterwards.
After the treatment was over, I was led into the office where the manager tried to sell me packages for future visits. When I told her I would think about it and let her know, she kept insisting that I needed these treatments, and offered a small discount. I politely declined and headed home. In the car, not only did I see face mask product still left on my face, but my ears were also full of microderm crystals.
I tried this place out because of a coupon I received in the mail, but coupon or not, I will not be returning to this location.

Let me start off by saying that its totally fine for us guys to get the occasional facial. I don’t wanna hear any jokes or snide remarks on why I am writing this review, ok??? With that said, my wife encouraged me to write a review for this spa because of her lack of a Unilocal account and because of the positive experience we both had here.
My wife initially went of a coupon in Savings in OC magazine. Appears this place had changed owners and they were giving out grand opening specials. She liked her facial so she bought one of their packages that gave her 10 facials at a 20% discount. This is where I come in, I used one of her sessions for myself and found it very relaxing and «useful», lets just say there was alot of extract and leave it at that… My facialist was Jean and she was very friendly and professional. I didn’t have the same negative experiences as the previous Unilocalers, no phone were answered, no extensive going in and out of the room, no lack of A/​C so I’ll say that they’ve looked at their Unilocal reviews and adjusted accordingly.
They also offer other services like slimming (no idea what this is) and eyelash curling… don’t worry, I’ll be passing on these services, if I didn’t, you guys have permission to bash me as much as you want. Overall, the wife and I were both very satisfied and would recommend giving this place a try, especially if you have a coupon
Ok, now I’m going to review Gold’s Gym just to balance this one out… :)

I came here because there was a coupon for 50% off a facial and microdermabrasion. The room for the facial was very small and did not have a sink in the room. Therefore, the lady had to keep leaving to get water. For the majority of my facial, the door was open which made things a little awkward. When they were doing the microdermabrasion they turned the machine off and off a couple times like there was something wrong. It felt disorganized because the lady kept leaving the room and I believe more than one person was working on my face. I could hear one person giving another person instructions which did not make me feel confident in their services.
The worst part was that extraction portion was extremely painful. It was the worst I’ve ever experienced. My nose looked crazy afterwards and it looked like some scratched me up.
Not exactly a calming experience. Now that I’ve have facials from a couple different places I think that White Rose Spa by UCI is the best. It might be a little more expensive but it’s well worth it for the service.

I have really oily skin and I struggle a lot with my skin but (ask for JEAN) she was very gentle and she did an excellent job. I always fall asleep and wake up with my skin feeling fantastic. The place is newly remodeled and looks great. I’ve been coming here for a while now (before the place was remodeled) and I’ve only been interrupted once or twice.

Rcvd one of those mailers and noticed a nice offer for a 90 minute lifting facial. My facial person couldnt take me in, I called this place and got an appt within the hour or so. therefore OFF I GO to New Vogue.
First impression, for a BRAND NEW place. it was a little stuffy and hot when I first came in. Also smells a bit of like a wet towel. Didnt know why the AC was not on.
The receptionist was nice and welcoming though. The bathroom was so so, also did not smell fresh, looks a bit disarray. I have a problem: I love and expects super clean bathrooms in a SPA!
The facialist said hello but I had to ask for her name after about 5 minutes into the conversation. The AC came on 15 minutes after I arrived — thank goodness. As I was in the beauty industry previously, I would highly recommend all facialists and any sales people who are going to be kind of close to your customers within a feet away, to please always wear a deodarant and brush your teeth or eat a mint or two before you do whatever you need to do… JUST SAYING!
Anyways, once the AC air was on, the whole atmosphere feels a lot better and I was able to relax. However, my facialist had an emergency at her home; she had to answer her cell phone several times during the facial session. interrupting me from having a blissful spa time. On top of that, her manager or another co-​worker came into the room a couple other times, asking her about some other things. speaking quite loud in Chinese… again, interrupting the SPA process. Yes, she was polite to apologize each time we were interrupted but I did not enjoy the experience the first 45 minutes. The other 30 minutes more or less, she did a pretty good job. and once the cool masque was on, I almost fell asleep.
Overall, they did a decent job for the introduction or trial price of $ 68 vs $ 180 but I know that I will NOT be returning for the latter price mentioned. I will be going back to my regular facialist Chung at another place on Main Street in Irvine, Ca.
She does similar process for about the same price of New Vogue’s trial price, but her centre is always super clean and smells amazing!
