Best starbucks in so cal Got the best black coffee here ever. They keep the sugars fully stocked. The manager, I believe his name is Sean, treated me and my family like we were family. I will go here for all my coffee and coffee related needs. ps. Jacqueline is high.

This Starbucks is located at Northpark Plaza Shopping Center in Irvine. It is in a side building fronting Irvine Boulevard that also is occupied by Bruegger’s Bagels. The shopping center is huge so parking is easy to find. The interior of this Starbucks is quite spacious. But it has a dark and cavernous feel with a high ceiling. There is plenty of seating here and there is seating in the back of the store outside if you prefer to sit in the sun. This isn’t a standard Starbucks. They also offer Starbucks Reserve coffees and coffees brewed using the Clover brewing system if you prefer a higher quality cup of coffee. Got a tall Starbucks Reserve West Java Preanger coffee($ 3) that I enjoyed while I worked here for a hour and a half. The free Google Wi-Fi is great, but what I really like is that the cool AC is on blast here. I noticed this well at a SD Starbucks visited previously, so I am wondering if that just is the norm at SoCal Starbucks coffee shops. If you are looking for a coffee shop with plenty of space to work and which makes a decent cup of coffee, I would recommend this Starbucks.

Unless you ask for it black, your coffee comes out tasting like cotton candy. Stop adding so much sugar!!! Even if you ask for it black, it might need to be remade as they’re clearly used to adding tons of sugar to everything. Sums up my experience at this location. Pretty consistent with other Starbucks tho, this seems to be the corporate model to give you lots of ice and sugar with as little coffee as they can get away with.

My favorite Starbucks to go to and pretty much my location of choice. They have a large range of seating(which is perfect when I bring my SO with me as he is more of a comfy chair person and I’m a desk lady. We actually refer to this one as the ‘Comfy Chair SB’. The staff is always great and you can just feel the good vibes from behind the counter. Couldn’t ask for a better working environment. Plus they are always open till like 11pm! I go out of my way to get to this location :)

Tried the new Latte Macchiato — really liked the creamy flavor of the foam. They made it with whole milk and you can taste it. Cute flower(?) design on top too! Staff: very friendly. The guy at the register helped me pick this out, I told him I need a bold-flavored drink to work. Environment: excellent clean, much more spacious that a regular Starbucks. Good place to study and plenty of outlets.

Wow I’m surprised at how fast they are here. I seriously just sat down after ordering and they call my name. They don’t need to be super fast cause there was nobody after me in line but yet they still were which is great. Also I think it might have been my fault that I ordered the wrong size drink…(Not sure cause I didn’t get the receipt and only noticed it after I saw my drink.) they were great at addressing the issue and quickly offered me the right one immediately. Great customer service overall.

Okay so the drink I ordered was okay, I expect that however I also expected the gingerbread loaf slice I ordered to be fresh, one side was hard as a rock, obviously it has been up there for quite a while, bread doesn’t get that hard that fast. We were really looking forward to sharing the gingerbread and it was awful, ruined my entire visit. Wish I had tried it while I was there instead of five minutes later when I was already home, what a waste of money.

So slow. There’s no hustle especially for 6 people behind the counter, only the manager was doing anything. The employees complained in front of customers. Unprofessional. They don’t allow phone orders to go, which is the dumbest strategy since they also don’t have a drive-thru. Also, the cashiers didn’t even listen to me, make eye contact, smile, nothing. Service, at best was mediocre. Go down the street to the other one.

Good starbucks location. Newly renovated, and looks very modern. I’m in there at least once a week, and have never had an issue. Mark and Omar are the best floor managers at this location. Mark always has the best sense of humour, and always makes your day better. While I find Omar to be very chill and relaxed, but he makes sure to get your order correct. He also goes out of his way to make sure your order comes out in a timely fashion. Great starbucks location based on my experience with these two employees/managers.

Seriously how hard is it to nuke a ham sandwich, put it in the bag and then hand it to the guy that ordered it 20 minutes earlier. There were 5 of you behind counter and you bagged my order with someone else’s because you didn’t read the order! You were too concerned that you didn’t upset the person that ordered 4 things but got a surprise 5th sandwich than to worry about the one you didn’t do. No instead I had to ask about my order and hear you talk about your mistake and gloss over the fact that someone got an extra and is gone but that the one who was still waiting is of no concern! Way to go. First world problems I suppose!

My favorite coffee shop. The baristas are friendly & know about soccer & coffee. I usually have blast when I go there. The only place in Irvine where I can have a smoke with my coffee. The customers are also friendly I made a lot of friends by hanging there.

This is one of my go to Starbucks locations. There is always quick and accessible parking out front, and the location is great if you’re going on the way to work and need to jump onto the 5! I love this Starbucks location because when you walk in there is a huge lobby. They have a large table, small tables, and furniture chairs. This is one of the Starbucks locations that offers Google wifi which is so fast– and great for college students like me who love to sit with my coffee and do homework! I usually order the cold brew iced coffee, or a green iced tea. All the locations offer the same food items which are okay. If you’re in a rush and need a coffee they’re a bit pricey but you’ll get what you pay for. The baristas are super nice here! Even when there is a line out the door(And most mornings there usually are) they go out of their way to make sure you’re enjoying your Starbucks Experience!

This is probably the worst starbucks experience! We waited for 30 minutes to get our order, when we ordered our drink there’s only one person ahead of us then there’s 6 people who got their order before us then. When I asked about our missing drink the girl making the coffee gave me attitude… and waited another 4 drinks before making it… Not only we waited for more than 20 minutes, we didn’t get proper customer service and to to make things worse not even an apology…

When I drive down to Irvine I usually stop by this location to either get a green tea or an iced americano. Parking is pretty large it is shared by many different stores and this one is pretty nice inside. The only thing I would say is that the line to order the drinks and get your drinks is always long. I’m not sure why but maybe it is just a really popular spot. I don’t really sit at this location because I am always going to another place but it seems like a good place to come and study in. My drink order is pretty simple to make and they don’t mess it up at all. Also the staff is pretty friendly which I do enjoy.

They have lost many of my drink orders and misspelled my name. Some of the drinks were not hot and almost cold when I received them. Starbucks in Costa Mesa is consistently good. Try that location.

Since recently moving back to Irvine this has become my go to Starbucks. The employees here are very welcoming and friendly even when the shop is busy. My drinks and food are always made properly. The shop is clean and they handle long lines well. This is one of the busiest Starbucks in the area during morning and evening rush hours. The line moves quickly as I mentioned above but be prepared to wait a little bit if you’re in a rush. There is plenty of parking and for travelers, there is a Chevron station in the same lot. There is no drive thru if that’s what you’re after. I highly recommend this shop compared to others in the area. You’ll be in and out quickly with a well made cup of coffee. Cheers!

This location should be 5 stars. Every time I come here, I am treated well and my drink is perfect. Compare this location to the Culver/Walnut location, and I’d give this location 10 stars.(See my review on the Culver/Walnut location for more detail) This location can get very busy, and the staff still manages a joke and a smile while creating the artfully crafted beverages. Bottom line: If you don’t like this location, then take your whiney ass down to Bruegger’s so those of us who appreciate the staff and service at this location can enjoy our beverage.

Their clover machine isn’t bad, as long as it’s working. It breaks down every now and again but for those who don’t like that bitter bite at the end of sipping your coffee, this machine takes it away. The really bad thing about this place is the super long times. People tend to flow down to this place around 730−8am– right before jumping on the road to work. The weekends are crazy too. There’s some good seating a, both inside and outside, but this place gets so packed that seating becomes limited. I wonder how often they actually wipe down the chairs and whatnot. The frappuccino is a hit or miss– either perfect consistency it really runny/or super icey. What really bugs me is when i order the ice tea and they don’t put it in the tea shaker to shake, but simply pour it in the cup, throw ice in it and send it away. The syrup actually just ends unmixed so I end up sipping a bunch of sweetness and the left with plain tea. Let’s shake it up guys!

Ooh look, it’s the fancy Starbucks. They serve clover-brewed coffee(whatever that means) for a premium, and have a large outdoor seating area. However, this is a very packed location. I’ve been here multiple times and each time there has been a large line and a long wait. The most recent time I came they messed up my drink, but to their credit they fixed it. One star because I went to the ladies room and it was absolutely filthy. No toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor. Also the lock required jimmying to make sure it actually did its job.
