Ursula Levine, DDS

Would highly recommend Dr Levine if you’re looking for a very caring, patient, honest and skillful dentist. Ursula and her her staff treat my whole family including our children and they always take the time to explain things and take all steps to make us comfortable.

Dr. Levine is by far the best dentist I’ve ever had. Dr. Levine genuinely cares for her patients and their dental needs. She is knowledgeable in her field and doesn’t try to up sell procedures that you do not need. Dr. Levine actually listens to your concerns and asks questions so that she has all the facts.
I referred my mom to Dr. Levine and she feels the same way. Going to Dr. Levine’s office feels like you’re going to see a friend which is great especially when you’re going to get dental work done. I recommend everyone to go to Dr. Levine’s office if you want to have great dental work done and know someone is listening to you and your concerns.

I have been seeing Dr. Levine for seven years. She is amazing; intelligent, respectful, trustworthy, kind, etc, but most of all, great at her job.
I have a deep seated fear of shots. Dr. Levine is a compassionate person and that overflows into her work. If I need work done that requires a shot, she patiently sits with me while I calm my body for her to do her work. No one wants to hear that they need dental work, but when I need to see Dr. Levine, I feel like a trusted friend is doing the work and I know I am being cared for as if I am one of her own family. That is how she sees her clients – as if they are her family.
Dr. Levine’s commitment to her clients and her practice is exceptional. My 20 something daughter cracked off the front of a tooth from grinding over a weekend. She called the office answering machine hoping to get a Monday morning appointment. Given my daughter’s history with grinding and cracking teeth, Dr. Levine set up a weekend appointment to minimize any further damage to the tooth. We are not just clients in a dental practice here – we are individuals with our own needs and histories.
As for all the other things that go along with dentistry, the office is spotless, the staff is courteous, billing is easy and Bonnie is great at sending reminders.

A colleague recommended this place to me and I am very happy she did. You can expect very honest advice and an attitude full of empathy. Polite and very swift follow up on consult scheduling as well.

I have been going here for a few years now and Dr. Levine and Candice are great! They do a great job of keeping my smile in great shape, and really take their time to do things the right way! After using a few other dentists in the past, I can recommend Dr. Levine without hesitation to anyone looking for a great dentist in the area.

I have been a patient of Dr Levine for 6 years. On Dec 19 2014, while eating dinner I inadvertently bit down on a fork… my tooth became painful, was wiggly but I believed only bruised. I called Dr Levine, had X rays and and got the bad news that the tooth was irreparable and I would need an extraction and implant. She was meticulous in diagnosing the issue, confirmed with 2 oral surgeon associates that her diagnosis was correct. I was somewhat dismayed given the time, effort, energy and cost I would bear, but Dr Levine was most comforting, sensitive in this. Her office’s relationships with the surgeon was excellent and despite it being the Holidays, the oral surgeon saw me immediately, extracted the tooth and implanted in1 session which was totally painless. Given the location of the tooth being in the front, Dr Levine saw me immediately after, bonded the tooth for cosmetic reasons while the extraction healed (4 months). Dr Levine explained in great detail every sensation I was to feel and allayed any concerns I had. The processes were pain free and really easy. Dr Levine did a masterful job and one couldn’t notice what had happened. Following 3 months, I had impressions done and 3 weeks later Dr Levine fitted the custom implant, again pain free. Dr Levine did a fantastic job both in her knowledge and in the practical execution of dental science, and as importantly was extremely sensitive to my concerns throughout the process,
I would recommend Dr Levine’s services for any dental procedures, as she is knowledgeable, caring, and considerate at more than reasonable rates.

Dr. Levine and her staff are great! The office is clean and everyone is so nice! Dr. Levine is an amazing dentist and she is so gentle! She does fantastic cosmetic dentistry and she was also great with my 10 year old daughter. I would recommend her office to anyone! Definitely 5 stars!

I have been coming here for quite some time and I can say Dr. Levine really cares for her patients and takes great pride in her work. She has been helping me get some old fillings that are pretty much useless back on track.
My mouth was kind of a mess of 1980’s fillings and lucky Dr. Levine took one look and said we are going to fix it so I don’t end up in a worse situation down the road. I like that she if very informative and tells me the steps she is going to take and what the process is. Sometimes I tell her I don’t want to know and just get it done :)
The whole staff her rocks and I will continue to be her patient for as I can. I only have two more fillings to get replaced. Again she really takes a great since of pride in her work and will continue with the job until she feels its perfect. Where in most places I feel like the dentist will get you in and get you out regardless of quality of work. That will never be the case with Dr. Levine.

Dr. Levine and her office staff are the best! She has taken an enormous amount of time with me to explain the status of my dental situation, and what the various options were for addressing the problems, with pros and cons for each one. She really listens to what you think is best for you, without any pressure to do what I have no doubt she knows is actually the best way to go. She is technically superb… have never had so little pain with significant procedures. and is a perfectionist in getting things done right the first time. Her office staff are also wonderful, very caring but also very professional. They were exceptionally kind to my husband when his health was failing, to the point he was looking forward to to going back in short order! The costs were laid out very clearly beforehand and they established right away what insurance would pay and what I would be responsible for. I totally agree with previous reviews that say «best yet»!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Ursula Levine as our dentist for years. She is compassionate and friendly every time I go to see her. I look forward to going to the dentist. Her staff are also very friendly and thorough whenever they perform any dental procedure. My family has consistently been pleased with her excellent services, and remains so.

Dr. Levine has been my dentist for about 10 years now. I have had about a half dozen dentists before I came to her practice. I got a better feel for her services by going to her website first. She uses the most up to date and effective treatments available. If you want silver fillings, go somewhere else. They don’t last and she does not do unreliable procedures. Her detailed explanations of treatment and prognosis is thorough and accurate. Her professional recommendations have always been top notch. I am completely satisfied with both her service and price. I enthusiastically recommend her to anyone looking for a fair, highly competent dentist.

I have had probably 12 or more dentists in my lifetime. None can compare to Dr. Levine. I will never forget the first time I met with her. She invited me into a small conference room and she proceeded to spend about 30 minutes describing my mouth to me. She could talk about areas in my mouth that needed attention. She obviously had spent time reviewing my x-​rays and my dental chart that had been sent to her prior to my arrival. I had never had any medical professional in my life treat me with such respect and thoroughness. I left my previous dentist in Newport Beach because I was tired of the upsell. I now have a completely different relationship with my dentist; one that is honest, open and trustworthy. I regret having spent so many years at an inferior dentist now that I see what an exceptional dentist Dr. Levine is. Here is just one example. My Newport Beach dentist always had an assistant place the crown on my tooth. Dr. Levine insists that that is her job and said she would never trust that to an assistant in her office. I could go on but I think by now you get the picture of a truly caring, competent, and honest medical professional who will deal with you in an intelligent and forthright manner.

Dr. Levine is one of the most compassionate and caring dentists out there. After decades of major dentist avoidance, due to a serious dental phobia, Dr. Levine has earned my full trust. We go out of our way to retain her services, as our family’s dentist, and constantly refer people to her office. She has very thorough and professional workmanship, and as I alluded to earlier, she genuinely cares for her craft and patients.
As far as the location is concerned, its nice enough, however the office building has a very peculiar odour near the lobby area. The odour dissipates within the offices; its mostly remarkable because its not present within the offices, so it sort of attacks you when entering or exiting the building.

The dentist seems good but the pricing practices are not fair. She’ll spring on price changes during the treatment and her prices are not cheap. Ask for a pricing list upfront and then make sure she won’t change the prices on you.
