It’s okay, has the beef phở large. The broth was weak and it tasted alright. Nothing spectacular.

Not bad for a phở. You can really taste the beef flavor broth. The service was mediocre. But that I learn is a given for Vietnamese restaurant. My husband hi tieu mi was delicious.

Stopped in on a VERY rainy evening a couple months back. The service was spot on, and the food was very good. HUGE portions! I’ll be going back when I’m in the area.

Fantastic Food and Incredible service!!! I was warmly welcomed and asked to pick any seat in this nice establishment. It is well decorated, very clean and on the nicer side for Phở places. My friend and I had the egg rolls to start. They come two to an order. They were crispy and flavorful. A perfect egg roll in my opinion. I ordered a noddle dish which had shrimp, chicken and beef. The meat selection was top notch and the veggies had great color and crunch factor. The food didn’t feel unhealthy and was well prepared as well as quickly served. The waiter was pleased to offer recommendations and was great at checking back but not overwhelming us so we could talk. I love this place. It’s going to be my new favorite go-to.

There are infrequent periods of visiting Unilocal pages where witness a rating that – for the life of you – have absolutely no clue what these mad people are thinking!!! Stop the madness! That is exactly how I feel about I !!! This place is always consistently tasty, inexpensive and and boasts an exceedingly friendly staff. I know a thing or two about great Phở, coming from California, so clearly these are reviewers had a strange bit of luck during their initial visit, or their taste buds are shot. Seriously… Go here… NOW!

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner and long story short, we loved it. We ordered the spring rolls and they are a MUSTHAVE. Very authentic and flavorful. Then we each ordered phở(one chicken, one filet mignon) and they were both bright, flavorful and exactly what we wanted on a cold day. Food came pretty quickly and is very well priced at about $ 8 a bowl. I recommend just getting the Large because it is PLENTY of food, and I eat A LOT so take my word for it. Great place. Big. Clean. Will return again and often

We’ve been to a few phở places in Irving, and this one was our go-to for a few months because it was one of the better ones in the area. Their phở and spring rolls were always consistent and good, and their service at night was always attentive. Unfortunately, we found a piece of hair in the phở during our last lunch visit, and we haven’t returned since. We told our server upon paying our bill, and the phở was comped but without an apology. We get the feeling that this may be a regular occurrence at the restaurant. It’s unfortunate that this happened, as we were quite excited to find a phở place we really liked. We probably won’t be returning, and will be looking for an alternative.

We have come here for many years but now we have finally decided that it is time to quit. The quality of food has been steadily declining and now, there just isn’t any«Love» left in their food any longer. Last night I had the beef stew with French bread, and it was so greasy that it was inedible. There was a quarter of an inch of oil floating on the surface of the stew and the meat was sinewy and tough. A triple decker hamburger would be healthier and more palatable than this. This same poor quality runs across their menu. Their phở soup and rice dishes were the same. The meat quality they use has declined so much and it is now obvious that the«Luv» in I Luv Phở is no longer there. So we bid farewell to the restaurant that, at one time, was our favorite.

Busy as always! Nice & friendly staff but there tends to be confusion & miscommunication often! Their intentions are good so give yourself some time to get use to the service! I ordered my favorites to go: Grilled Pork Vermicelli Bowl w/eggroll and a Pork Banhmi Sandwich! Usually they’re on point but this time the Vermicelli Bowl was a huge disappointment! The noodles were old & overcooked, the sauce was plain & tasteless, vegetables/meat portions were less than equal to the noodles! I love this restaurant so I will be returning and giving them another chance!

I enjoyed my meal at I luv Phở but it’s nothing noteworthy. I ordered the C35 which is a beef bbq dish with rice. Service: They aren’t very attentive to your needs after you order food but honestly it’s not too critical. If you need a refill just walk up to the counter. Food: The beef bbq was juicy and tender but the rice was a tad dry. I also added an egg to the dish and I have found that you really rarely go wrong with an egg. This proved to be the case and I was pleased with my humble fried over easy egg. Can’t say it was spectacular or very memorable so I likely won’t be going back.

Oh man I sure did used to love this place but I’m afraid it has gone downhill. Very ‘meh’ phở now and the broth always comes out lukewarm… dirty silverware… and it just doesn’t seem like they are putting in the love into ‘I Luv Phở’. You walk in and there are dirty plates everywhere… not sure if they are understaffed or what. I have hope that this place will bounce back one day soon as far as the food goes because the people there have always been so nice.

I like the phở. But they get my order wrong every time!!! But the food is good and I will go back. Please take my order correctly. And leave out the cilantro. Unilocal, I don’t want to write any more.

Had some time in between business meetings and decided to have lunch at I Luv Phở for the first time. They have been open for business for about a year. A clean establishment with great service. It provides a dine-in experience with food arriving at the table quickly and that worked out perfectly during our short lunch break. The Phở Soup was great. I had the Filet Mignon with Tendon soup. The extra large version. Also at the table were a couple of Crispy Rice Noodle with choice toppings. The food overall was delicious and the portions were generous. The pricing was even better. The soups were under $ 8.00 and the Rice Noodle dishes were under $ 9.00 for most items. I will visit again for a quick lunch soon.

Great portion sizes. I must admit. I haven’t had the opportunity to experience a lot of different Vietnamese places, but of the ones I’ve been to this place is pretty decent. The service is always fast the restaurant is always clean. I’m sometimes concerned about the lack of people inside but, maybe I’m just lucky enough to miss the crowds. They give you great portion sizes. I’m not sure I’ve ever been able to finish my bowl. My main reason for visiting here is location, so I’m not going to lie… I’ll probably be back.

This place is great! There’s not a lot of Vietnamese options in the area so I guess this is my go to lunch place for Vietnamese food! I’ve only had their vermicelli and rice plates so I can vouch for those. The meat are so flavorful and fish sauce is not that stinky. You can eat it and chew gum after. I love the bun Cha ha noi. It’s the vermicelli with grilled pork and meatballs(Nem nuong) their Nem nuong is one of the best! Very flavorful!

My first visit and worst experience. The smell was seriously killing me. There was not organized service. one person took my order. two persons served me food and then 4th one gave me silverware lolz I haven’t seen service like that before. My kids ordered soup and i ordered chicken fried rice. And we left everything. A woman came with a bowl of soup after the rice was served with a wet receipt paper. I went there bcz of the upscale look but it was disappointing. That place really needs a full health inspection.

I Luv Phở is a Vietnamese restaurant in Irving that specializes in phở. They have a full Vietnamese menu, so you can also find banh mi, com(rice dishes), and more. And while it’s not the best phở option in DFW, it certainly is a great option if you’re in the Las Colinas\Valley Ranch corridor of Irving. My Overall Rating — 3 Stars(Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere — Located on top of a hill, I Luv Phở actually has some nice views of Irving. Inside you’ll find the makings of a simple, yet clean restaurant. There’s a good mix of small & large tables, a central station with the cash register, and a few TVs. Simple but unforgettable. ½ Star. Service — Service is hit and miss. But one thing I will say is they’re quick once you put in your order. But one more than one occasion, once you put in your order & your food comes out, that’s pretty much the last time you’ll see someone until you go up to pay. It’s common in many Vietnamese restaurants as you pay at the front, so there’s usually no need for a follow up. But like I said, they’re fast at getting food out, so kudos as lunch people need to get back to work. ½ Star. Food — Ok, the phở is not the best, but it’s not bad. I bit on the bland side, and I will admit Phở Bang in Garland is still my measuring stick. That being said, the portions are generous, veggies fresh, and they have a large, diverse menu. Their spring rolls are decent, their grilled pork dishes come with generous amounts of marinated pork(although a bit tough), and their banh mi is a great alternative to phở and is cheap(3.95). So while I Luv Phở may not excel in any one thing, I know I can easily satisfy my Vietnamese cravings from their menu. 1 Star. Will I Return? — Yes. It’s a great location for me, and I don’t need to want phở when I eat there. So if you end up there because someone has a phở craving, just know you’ll have some great alternatives. 1 Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score.
