Tragically run, even for a Whataburger. Both times I’ve eaten here, I’ve had to return to the counter to have them correct my order. Drive thru can take you upwards of fifteen minutes; go somewhere else if you’re need/expect to get your food fast. Additionally, they lack sufficient parking.

I frequent this Whataburger for several years. Most of the time my experience is okay with no complaints. I went through the drive-thru… the line was extremely long. It took about 15mins to get to the window. I would have left, but the way the drive-thru is designed you can’t get out of line… which is dangerous. Fries were cold, burger was good.

There is nothing to like about this restaurant. It is filthy with trash. A fly just land on my fries. There are only two clean seats available. The tables are stained with ketchup marks, soda rings and grease streaks. The floor is marked by footprints and discarded used napkins. It is 4.30 in the evening. There are few customers, the work crew is fully staffed, but, the manager and his staffs ignor the condition of the lobby. I will no longer visit this pig sty.

I dined in with kids. We were greeted by super friendly staff when we walked in. The service was well above what I’d expect at a fast food place. We ordered, they brought our food to our table, and when I got up for condiments, someone insisted on getting them for me. Really great service. The only reason a star is missing is that the breakfast could be a bit better.

After my last update where the car in front of me was furious at this Whataburger drive thru location, I received my order only to go home and find it was INCORRECT. I understand they just had a dilemma, but I wasn’t involved in it. Furthermore, I didn’t even ask for fries for the wait(although maybe I should have?). So why should my Whatachicken sandwich be subsituted for a Whataburger? Very disappointed. Going to the one off of Airport Fwy from now on.

Sturdier fast food Flimsier customer service Why a ketchup & napkins tray? A Whataburger visit was demanded of my coworker and me on a trip to Irving; when we mentioned we each were In N Out Burger fans, we were told we had to try Whataburger. OK… can do… but they set a high bar, and I don’t think we came close to hurdling. I’ll give them that they seem to have an ardent fan base, with cars lining up consistently. When we walked in, there were standard options and limited time offers, like standard fast food, and less like I&O Burger(the last time I’ll draw the comparison, because it’s not like Whataburger advertises that they’re trying to be In & Out). At any rate, my coworker chose a standard cheeseburger with fries and strawberry shake; I went with a Chop House Cheddar Burger(new menu item) with vanilla shake. As we ordered, myriad other things were being entered into the cash register, few of them what we’d asked for. Legitimately, about eight different price totals flashed across the screen before the checkout was«right,» and even then, part of the order was delivered wrong. We laughed it off and it wasn’t a big deal, but still. «Small strawberry shake» apparently was the Customer Service Snafu Secret Phrase That Pays Of The Day. Not only was it flubbed for my coworker, but also another one later on where two cashiers at once seemed to be trying to translate ‘small strawberry shake’ for the person filling the order. From English… to English. Really loudly. It ended up being bizarrely comedic. But I digress ridiculously. The burgers were fine — certainly plenty of food. We both commented that the burgers were likely the heaviest single piece of fast food we had each yet encountered. Still, our main take-away was«yes, it’s better than Burger King» — and that was essentially the highest praise we were going to give it. So in summary, the food is hefty, it tastes ok, and you could potentially be in for a chuckle if someone orders a small strawberry shake. I’ve checked it off my to-do list.

Party decent burger place. Not really much to say. They do have a nice spicy ketchup to try when you do dine here. But overall again it’s just another burger place. It’s not too bad.

I was staying at the hotel next door and went over for lunch one day. There was a young man named Jacob who waited on me and he was very personable and service oriented. The food was good but just to see young people who take their job serious is a breath of fresh air.

This was my first time here. I was visiting from out of town and had heard about how good this place was. They were right. The burger was good and huge. I ended up not finishing all of it. The fries were just ok, I’ve definitely had better fries.

I’m not really a big fan of fast food burgers but the chicken fajita taco is so delicious! It’s grilled chicken and veggies so I don’t feel so guilty(although the tortilla is drenched in delicious grease!) The grilled peppers(poblanos, not green bell peppers thank goodness) and onions are so yummy and there is alot of chicken up in there. Today things seemed to be moving extra slow(it always takes a little longer than other fast food places) so both me and the car in front of me had to pull to the front and wait for our food. No big deal, they were real polite about it and the guy taking the order was super nice. Then a manager-looking person came and brought me my food, threw in an extra pie, and then got the lady in front of me to pull her car up so I could get by. I was impressed! I only waited a couple minutes extra, I thought it was above and beyond! Did I mention their onion rings? They are next level and I always eat them all in the car, I have no self control.

I was recently introduced to Whataburger’s Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits. I had never had such a thing before. I didn’t know such a thing existed. It is DELICIOUS. They have taken over. I have become a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit slave. I can be found at the drive thru line at 11pm because they start serving them at that hour until 11am. I can be found on that line more often than I want to admit after those damned biscuits. I’m warning you. Do not have them if you haven’t. You will rue the day the biscuits came into your life. I have not had the burgers. I almost ordered some onion rings once but I couldn’t bring myself not to order another biscuit instead. It’s a sad, sad situation.

I visited this store on 9⁄2 at 12:15pm.I placed my order for whatachicken, 2 justaburgers(plain), chicken bites and med fries via a speaker that is hard to hear. Beverly started my order and a young man rapidly read back my order and told me my bill was $ 22. I told him it was not my order and repeated my order. He said to drive to 1st window for new balance and food. When I arrived at the window, Beverly handed me the receipt for $ 22.I told her that it was not my receipt. She said she wanted me to see it. She repeated my order back to me and said I had 2 justaburgers with pickles. I again repeated I ordered 2PLAIN justaburgers. She laughed and closed the window. I asked for her name(no name tag) and she said it was Beverly. I asked for manager’s name. Quotone came to the window, apologized and gave me 2 apple pies. It took 25 mins to get my food. Beverly should not be working in a customer service job and you need to fix the speaker. Horrible, horrible service and Beverly thought it was amusing. I emailed corporate office. I received a call from the store but they did not leave a message on 9⁄4. I called the store and spoke with Quotone aka Q. Q is extremely nice. He said GM called me but was out of the store. Q remembered me and said GM talked to him about the situation. He said Beverly was repreimanded. He will have GM call me back. Offered me a free? pack. No return call from GM. :(Very disappointing because it was a horrible experience at the store on 9⁄2. I love Whataburger but this experience turned me off to them. I now go to Burger King on Belt Line Rd.

The food at Whataburger tastes like it’s homemade, and at this particular location, they don’t disappoint. Great food, Fast & friendly service, and they even do waiting once you pick up the order number for your table. I never thought that Whataburger would bring back the A-1 Thick & Hearty Burger as it was retired a year or 2 ago, but they did and they never lost their touch. I would highly recommend ordering it if it’s still on the menu in the near future. If not, there’s always the Chop House Cheddar Burger(They’re delicious as well), The Whatachicken, or heck… anything off their menu.
