The cinnamon bunz are amazing. Fresh, moist and the perfect balance of cinnamon and icing!!! Great for a grab and go breakfast!

Absolutely phenomena food and service! We got the world famous cinnamon bun which was incredible. The creamy and gooey texture melts in your mouth with a sweet sauce to top it off. The huevos rancheros were great. The breakfast potatoes were cooked perfectly. The eggs were great scrambled and their toast paired well with their jam. The coffee was hot and was continually poured throughout the meal. Overall experience was great! There was a line out the door every day of the week.

Bob Bunz and a trip to the Florida Keys go hand-in-hand for me. I always make sure to time my trip JUST right so I don’t get stuck waiting for a table. I love a good homemade diner quality breakfast. This is like your grandma made you breakfast good. The pancakes are enormous, soft and fluffy, which is why I love them. I get the big bear breakfast. I’m not a bear myself, I just like to eat. It pretty much has every breakfast item you want because you literally want it all when you order breakfast. Also it’s worth noting that their french toast is probably the best I’ve ever had. Get it. Get it now. Oh! And as soon as you walk in you’ll see a pastry case full of amazing treats you want to eat immediately and after you finishing eating breakfast! It’s like diabetes city but you know what, YOLO because it’s worth it. They have cinnamon roll coffee which honestly I’ve never heard great things about but it’s definitely worth mentioning because it’s unique. I highly recommend taking a goodie bag with you, especially if you’re traveling further south on your way to a more southern key. No better travel companion than a delicious sticky bun from Bob’s.

slow and the servant was not nice. I felt offended while politely asking they to hurry up because a tiny steak took them 40 mins and it tasted terrible.

Enjoyed dining at Bob’s Bunz for breakfast. The baked goods are superb. The remainder of the food is good but doesn’t live up to other breakfast places I’ve dined at. Prices are excellent and service is good. Definitely worth a return visit.

If you’re looking for breakfast on Islamorada, stop! You have found your answer. Bob’s Bunz is doing a lot of things right. The staff is incredibly courteous and our server was the most attentive waitress I’ve ever had. It was almost as if we were the only table she had. I started off by trying their signature cinnamon and sticky bunz. They did not disappoint. Great flavor that paired wonderfully with their cinnamon coffee. Menu had a great selection that had something for all 6 in my party. The meal was quality, hearty, and tasty. The eggs were real, the French toast hand dipped, and the hash browns hand cut. It was almost like grandma waking up early on vacation to make breakfast for the family. You may miss this place if you’re not careful but once you find it, you’ll be back.

My soon to be wife and I ordered our wedding cake through Bob’s Bunz. The wedding cake wasn’t a big deal to us but we still decided to do a cake tasting. We were blown away with the quality and service from Gloria. Very professional and very knowledgeable of the wedding cake industry. The cake flavors themselves are very simple and delicious. We highly recommend the almond cake. I don’t eat raspberry and we went with raspberry filling, that’s how good it was. If you’re getting married in the Keys or South Miami I highly recommend Bob’s Bunz.

If you didn’t know it was there, you’d drive right past it on US1 in the Florida Keys. The fact that it has a sign that says Islamorada Restaurant out front doesn’t help either. But if you’ve been there, you definitely know Bob’s Bunz. We were on our day-trip to Key West, and time was of the essence, so we didn’t stay to eat in, rather we got some pastries to take with us and munch on in the car. We made a promise to ourselves that next time we’re in the Keys, we are going to stay and have breakfast there. We ordered coffee and Bob’s famous(when you try them you will see why) Sticky Bunz, and cinnamon twists, which weren’t really that twisted. They were awesome! A nice sugar pick-me-up for the ride down US1. If you like bunz, this is the place.

Stumbled upon Bob’s by accident and I’m so glad we did. We arrived around 9:30am for breakfast and the place was packed — it’s a small diner-like space with a really welcoming vibe. I’d say it’s the sweet women who work there that make this spot so warm and inviting! We were shown to a table by the window and soon met Christy, our waitress. She was awesome and gave genuine recommendations of the menu. My husband got the egg and cheese croissant with a cup of their cinnamon bun coffee, and I got a mushroom and Swiss omelette with potatoes and an English muffin. Everything hit the spot, and like responsible adults, we finished our meal so we could earn dessert. :) The dessert display here is almost seductive. Picture an array of cookies, cinnamon buns in all shapes and sizes, key lime-flavored everything and more. My husband spent a significant amount of time bent over with his face against the case in complete admiration of all the options. We snagged a peanut butter and chocolate chunk cookie and a mini cinnamon bun before hitting the road, and our total bill was no more than $ 30 with tip. Awesome and affordable breakfast spot in Islamorada!

Amazing breakfast! My wife and I ventured over to bob’s bunz from the cheeca lodge which can be reached by foot or bicycle. We were immediately seated and greeted by our waitress, Chrissy. Chrissy sparkled with southern hospitality and charm. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu, offering great selections. I wanted an egg and cheese sandwich and Chrissy recommended I try it with their homemade croissant. Great recommendation! The croissant was warm, fresh and complimented the perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and cheese. My wife ordered a mushroom and cheese omelette, potatoes and an English muffin. The omelette was cooked to perfection. The potatoes were above average but the English muffin was soft and fresh. The star of bob’s bunz is their desserts(or appetizers, if feeling adventurous)…picture a display case filled with this former fat kids dream desserts. As a cookie connoisseur, I immediately selected the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Heaven! As bob’s is known for their«bunz» we could not leave without trying a cinnamon bun so we opted for their mini which was a true delight. I might even put my leftover bun in the microwave so I can taste it hot with the frosting oozing. My wife and I are in Islamorada for one more night and I can honestly say we might make our way back to bob’s for breakfast again tomorrow!

BOB’S BUNZ! What a cute little breakfast spot on Islamorada. If you haven’t been here then you will have to make it one of your breakfast places on your trip to Islamorada! This is more of a breakfast nook than a full on restaurant or diner. I’ve only eaten here three times and each time have SAT inside, so I’m not sure if outside seating is available when the weather permits. Upon entry there is a cold case to the left full of sweet homemade treats such as hand rolled cinnamon buns, Danish, muffins and more! If you have a sweet tooth then I suggest splitting one with your dining partner and getting one for the road! Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious, it’s very mom and pop diner food which I really love. The French toast is amazing, I don’t have the menu in front of me but I have tasted several of the dishes and we’ll have to write a better review the next time I go!

My husband had a cheese Danish and said it was the best he’s ever had! I didn’t feel well so I went simple with some toast. Waitress and environment was pleasant. If we were staying longer I’d take some pastries to go!

The buns are absolutely fresh and delicious. Can’t leave this place without trying them. I tried the cinnamon crumb bun and it didn’t disappoint. Just the right amount of sweetness to it. Breakfast was great, seems like the happening breakfast spot in Islamorada, so be prepared to wait a little, but they’re quick so don’t get impatient.

Breakfast Saturday morning. Thankfully there wasn’t a line when we arrived. It formed shortly after. #3 Cinnabon was good. Having it once was enough for me. Blue crab Benedict was super good. Crab cake delish. French toast is pretty good

My husband and friends and I were on our way back from Key West when it was time to stop for lunch. Having already stopped at the incrediballz Key Lime Tree on our way down, we wanted to try somewhere new for the trek home. We struck out at Morada Café and found this place nearby using Monocle. Alexa and I ordered the fish and eggs, while the boys ordered the fried panga sandwich and the blue crab benedict. Like all good friends, we shared foods – exchanging bits off each others plates. Bluecrab Benedict: This was just ok. I appreciated what it wanted to be, but the crab flavor did not come through their hollandaise. The crab cakes themselves were a little less crunchy than I feel they need to be, in order to contrast against the egg and the sauce. Still good flavor. Fried panga sandwich: This thing was phenomenal. If you aren’t into heavy foods, don’t order it – and the fish itself isn’t doing most of the talking. But this thing was what. $ 9? Not far from there, price point wise. And it was so big me and my big-eating husband could easily have split it. And it was perfectly cooked. If we return and I can handle the oil(I don’t eat a lot of deep fried food these days) I will definitely be getting this. Fish and eggs: Great! No complaints! However, order their blackened fish and avoid the(instant) grits. Great value. Finally… The buns. Duh, right? But they really are out of this world. When you’re peering at them through the case, they look generic, like the children of the ubiqutious Dough Boy. But once you taste them, you know they’re legit. They aren’t half as sweet as they look – which I love. I think next time we venture down to the Keys, we will stop here for a box of cinnamon rolls to go. We’ll go back for sure.
