Stewart Park

Stewart Park has a spectacular view of Cayuga Lake. The merry-​go-​round reminds me of county fairs.

We were looking for a place to let our 2 year old loose for a little bit before we met a friend for dinner. We stopped by Stewart Park hoping to find a cute little playground. It was a cold day and the wind off the lake didn’t help, but there was a huge playground set so we gave it a go.
The playground here is awesome! There is one giant set for the bigger kids, a smaller set for the little ones and a lot of in between. Our little one was absolutely delighted by the dinosaur that you can ride. She also fell in love with the little carousel, I don’t know why they don’t have these on all playgrounds because they are awesome. The scenery was also beautiful, surrounded by the lake and fall colors.
Unfortunately, it was a little too cold to go for a walk, but we had a blast at the playground.

Nice park — shore line, however, is full of litters.
Ithaca really needs to step up on anti-​littering program.

It was great we finally went there before the winter came. The lake view is so beautiful and we simply sat along the water for an hour. We really enjoyed a time there.

Great park for relaxing, BBQ, for kids, and games. Gorgeous view of the lake. So many great childhood memories here.

The is one of favorite parks in Ithaca to gather with friends for barbecue, potluck, ultimate Frisbee, or just to relax during the warm weather. The park is located at the southern tip of Cayuga Lake with a pier for a great view «on» the lake. Carpool is suggested as it can be hard to find at times.
