Love this place and will be coming back each time I’m in Jackson heights I think :). Food is delicious, it has a Peruvian-​Ecuadorian-​American fusion which makes it even more exotic. I must mention and Give 5 Star for the drinksss.

the waitress never came to check on us. The food was overpriced and the quality was not there. I’ve gotten better food and service in other spots nearby that are way cheaper. I would not come back.

The chifles with guacamole were amazing. The natural drinks are made to order, no sugar added. Amazing to find such a good place in that location.

First and foremost the food is delicious! Authentic, and flavorful, and well-​prices too. Excellent price for the amount of food too. Fruit jar cocktails in mason jars were on point, excellent mixologist. We got the tostones and guacamole for appetizer, both very delicious! The tostones were light and not oily at all! For main dish we got lomo saltado peruano steak was juicy and cooked perfectly. Also got chicken with chaufa mixto rice. The rice was so super delicious!
Will definitely go again.

My boyfriend lives in queens and is always very skeptical with eating food in certain areas. Me on the other hand loves to try food from every place. Now this place chiflez is a mix between Ecuadorian food and Peruvian food. The restaurant itself isn’t that big but it’s good enough to feel comfy. We ordered takeout but the waitress still sat us down at a table and offered us a free shot of liquor. Hey who can turn that down? So that was a plus right there. The food did take a little time but hey quality food does that to ya. Makes ya wait for deliciousness. I had some sort of beef with tomato sauce and rice it was freaking great. Although my boyfriend had been skeptical about it he smelled it and was like wow. We have to go back here, especially since he ordered food from another restaurant that same day and wasn’t eating from chiflez.
This place is a must go. It’s on the corner which is hard to miss and it’s nice and soothing not too crazy.

Large portions. Flavorful food! Awesome food! Must come back with my friends! Try the pasional kiwi pisco. Refreshing!

CHIFLEZ, we love this place! Authentic Ecuadorian food and great tasting. My family and I have been here several times and must say that the food never disappoint. The décor is really nice, modern and chic. We definetely recommend it. Try the breakfast: BOLÓN DE VERDE MIXTO, CHEESE OR CHICHARRÓN, EMPANADAS DE VERDE WITH CHEESE and love their COFFEE. I’m Dominican and my wife is Ecuadorian, we’ve been to many Ecuadorian Restaurants but we keep coming back to it. The owner of CHIFLEZ also owns EL PEQUEÑO CAFE a few blocks down with a more traditional feel but same great food.

I only ate here once and was dissapointed. I ordered a favorite of mine corvina con arroz y salsa de cebolla or encebollado as some know it and it was extremely SALTY!!! Not even the soda made the nastiness in my mouth go away and besides that their rice was more like mashed potatoes!!! terrible food!!!

This place is a little confusing. I love the service. Loved the food. The place is small and is in between a bakery and a restaurant so you can sit down with your family and eat and also watch other people come in to order from the bakery. I think this place would be amazing on its own as a restaurant and that is all.

Place is just odd. Wouldn’t come here on a date or for a special day but when I’m casually looking for a good place to eat.

Everything here is quite affordable and offers large portions ($ 12 – 16). Bf and I had the skirt steak with rice and beans, chicken stew with white rice, a cheese empanada and a beef empanada. Everything was amazing and delicious, the beef was juicy goodness, the chicken was moist and full of flavor. I doused the rice and beans with their scrumptious green sauce. Bf also had café con leche, which was far too sweet for my taste but he LOVED it.
While everything was amazing, we had so much food left over we had to ask for it to go. Service was quick but these ladies here don’t speak much English… I asked for a side order of rice and beans and she gave me another order of steak with rice and beans. In the end it all worked out, the leftovers did not go wasted.
Cannot wait to go back!

Love eating here! the people are so nice and the food is crazy delicious! we had a goat meat dish with rice and another that was like fried rice! it was so tasty! prices arent bad either. definitely going to come here more often :)

Super affordable and great service. Definitely coming here over Dunkin’ Donuts. The coffee is much better, too.

I was attracted by all the good reviews. Most places don’t live up to 5 star reviews. This place deserves at least 8 stars. From the great friendly service to the delicious plantain chip appetizer with pickled onions, given for free, it just got better. I had the breaded chicken and my date the sea bass with chaufa. Both dishes were fresh, so abundant, and mouth watering. We cannot wait to come back and try other dishes. Way to go Chifles.

This place was amazing! Came in for an afternoon grub. I loved the chiflez! I Had a humita de queso, seco de gallina and a red sangria that was delicious! Food was to die for! I was a very happy camper :-)

This is an Ecuadorian restaurant, which is similar to Mexican. They have tamales, lots of rice and meat dishes. Their mojitos are awesome and they have a three for two happy hour special. This review is because I left my credit card here and they held it for me until I could come back a week later! I appreciate their integrity. Also, service is good, they have lots of tv screens and the décor is pretty.

I was searching for something different, awesome and Chiflez delivered! You gotta try their Jalea, papa rellena., guacamole and mojitos!

Great hearty breakfasts at a very good price. My favorite breakfast in this part of Queens. Ecuadorian kitchen serving white arepas, stuffed potatoes, steak aplenty, salty chorizos, seasoned eggs.
Staff is a little awkward with non-​Spanish speakers at times but gracious and friendly. Throw in some pilot Spanish and be patient with their English and you’ll do great. They just upgraded to thorough, bilingual printed menus with good photos so you can just point your way through the order pretty effectively. Their juices are amazing when in stock. I guess it just goes to show that they only use good and fresh ingredients that sometimes they are out an item. Always get the Ecuadorean condiments.
Thees a TV of course, sometimes playing movies, sometimes Latin music. It’s louder than I normally like but in this big space is somehow festive without hampering conversation. One TV sometimes plays a loop of all their menu items. I love that!
I really should come back for a lunch or dinner some time.

Good food. Good location. Good food proportions. Good prices. Will definitely be coming back soon.
