Christoff and Sons Floor Covering

Our family can not say enough good things about Christoff and Sons Floor Covering.
We’ve used them for restoration service, carpet installation and carpet cleaning.
Our first introduction was unfortunately out of urgent necessity to clean up a flooded basement. Even on a Sunday morning, they promptly arrived and got to work getting our life back to normal. Unfortunately our carpet could not be saved due to two previous floods in our basement (some guys have all the luck, right?) so they ended up replacing the carpeting.
The carpet installation was better than the original company that did the install when we built the house. Particularly around some angled corners and tight spots. Those details really matter to me, so I was happy to see it was to them as well.
Since our fun with the basement flooding, we’ve used them several times for carpet cleaning as well as cleaning a couple of pieces of furniture. Their crew is prompt, polite and does an excellent job. The owners are hands on, ethical and obviously have instilled their work ethic on their fantastic team.
So while it’s hard for me to get excited about carpet, I do feel passionate about great customer service and felt compelled to share.

We recently moved here and wanted to support a local business. We had carpeting and tile work done. The tile installers were excellent but the folding closet door had to be modified to fit afterward which was not their fault. It should have been anticipated when they came out to bid the job. We were told it would cost another $ 75 to have someone come out an fix the door after the fact. What was disappointing was the underlying attitude about it. They did not really seem to care. They did a good job installing the carpet. The work they did overall was fine but customer care was a little lacking. If this had been my business I would have absorbed the $ 75 if I made that mistake.
