James — hands down, the best around! I walked in on Sunday 7÷5÷15 with a picture of a crown tattoo that I wanted on my wrist. James was able to draw up a concept that was exactly as I pictured and I was in the chair within 30 mins! He took his time placing the tattoo and made sure that I was 100% satisfied before starting to work. Apparently the Jax Beach location is know for their traditional tattoo work, but I couldn’t be happier with my black and grey! James did such a great job that my girlfriend decided to get her first tattoo as he was completing mine! Big shoutout to all the staff at Inksmith & Rogers on the beach! I will most certainly use James again for any other art!

James — is amazing. After leaving ironclad and getting half ass service. I had to watch my friends get their vision come to life was amazing. So i waited a week came back waited some more for others to get tatted. But my tat was on point. Im actually plotting my next tat before i leave jax. Thanks Beaches Crew

Was told I was getting particular artist when made my deposit, but when I went in for appointment the artist had been changed, not really a big deal other than I had explained what I wanted done to the «manager» or whoever, but when my actual artist and I were talking I realized that he hadn’t been told what I wanted.
Tattoo colors were well done, but the attention to detail of what I thought I was getting/​had talked to original artist about was a little lacking and different than my original understanding.
People were polite, but at times I felt like I was bothering them when asking questions regarding the tattoo.
Overall not a bad experience, but I got the feeling it was a «revolving door» type of place who just waned people in and out then on to the next, and I would have to say the overall feel was of a touristy/​entry-​level, basic shop.
Not a bad place I guess, but just didn’t get the feeling I was valued (maybe $ 350 isn’t enough money to feel like I am appreciated as a customer)
Would recommend this to anyone who wants a quick piece, in and out, maybe out with friends and makes decision to get ink on a whim, and a «cartoonish-​like reality» I guess.
I wouldn’t not recommended this place to my friends who wanted a quality piece, regardless of size, however I would recommended this place to someone who wanted to pick a simple piece of flash off the wall.

This place is amazing! From the concept of my tattoo to completion, Angelo (my tattoo guru) made sure that I was happy and comfortable. I LOVE my tattoo!
