I love this place. Great location, great food. Great stuff. I always order some kind of meat. And I never stay dissapointed. You have many food and drink options. Atmosphere is always great there.

So I believe Alehouse changed their food provider and now the Big Red chicken sandwich tasted awful. The chicken had such an awkward texture and consistency. It literally made me ill. The Big Red used to be a delicious juicy breast with lettuce, tomato, onion and served with a pickle. Now it’s a inedible breast with cheese only. Boo.

Came to Jacksonville with friends and decided to try out this place for dinner. The food was awsome the staff was great even though there was a UFC fight going on and the place was packed we did t have to wait for a table nor did I we have to wait long for our dinner. The 6 of us were all pleases with our meal and unfortunately didn’t have any room do dessert, but the next time we are in the area we will be sure to stop by again.

Open late go to spot. Watch all the games and have a couple drinks. I love the chili and the sliders. The mountain melt is huge and good as well. I had there obosaco one day and it was amazing but really if the chili is think? Get it with some oyster crackers

I think this is the best Ale House location in Jacksonville. They are always busy and for good reason. My work colleagues and I come here a couple times a month. I usually get the fajitas and everything is fresh and tasty.

Yep, it’s just another ale house, the food is consistent, the atmosphere is good, and as usual the service was pretty dang good. I don’t like chain places very much but when I need a quick stop the Ale House never fails. Today since I’m keeping it healthier was grilled zingers and broccoli and it was pretty good.

It wasn’t that good, I only gave it 3 stars because it had a good environment. Lots of TVs. I ordered my burger medium and it was burnt and my onion rings were soggy. Also, the reason I stopped in is because there is a huge sign on the building that says Jacksonville Ale House and they only had 3 local beers. I won’t be coming back.

The wife and kids and I had dinner here on Thursday night. It was in the parking lot of the hotel so it was a no-brainier. My girls like to walk to restaurants so it was a treat for them. We sat in a booth in the bar area. It was a little loud but nobody was stumbling drunk or yelling obscenities or ethnic slurs so we didn’t have a problem with it. I ordered my usual, the Cobb salad, and it tasted like it usually does, pretty good. We also got the mozzarella sticks and although they could have been a little warmer, they were still good. Our waitress was Nicole D and she was one of the best I have ever had at a restaurant. She was noticeably hustling around taking care of everyone, and I really appreciate that kind of work. We have her a hefty tip because she deserved it. Very convenient to hotels for travelers and not far from the interstate. We enjoyed our visit.

Ian took my Togo order and he was very knowledgeable about the specials of the day and menu. He repeated the order back to me before hanging up to ensure it was correct. When I got there, he immediately acknowledged me and said he would be with me in just one second, instead of ignoring me. Food was still being made and he asked another server multiple times to cash me out while he finished making another customers drink. He could have just made me wait to pay until I got the food but he didn’t, which I really appreaciated. He also made sure I had plenty of dressing and ranch without me having to ask. He was very quick and attentive service. Thank you Ian!

Great place to hangout, watch the game, eat, and have a few drinks. The menu has some great selections, it’s not just wings, burgers, and beer even though they do have a large selection on tap, and daily drinks specials.

Ale house is consistent in every location. Never great, never a problem. Most often enjoy their chicken Zingers. The outside area is cigar friendly if you are so inclined.

Tonight the food sucked. The baked potatos were burned, the stakes were under cooked and the condiments were not what we were told. This was very disappointing.

It’s been several years since I’ve visited an Ale House, so when we moved to Jax we were excited to be closer to one. Unfortunately, we weren’t very thrilled with our visit. My husband and my father-in-law had fried shrimp and both agreed it was just okay. My mother-in-law and I both had salads and we liked them. We all miss the conch chowder! We came with our toddler and were never given a child’s menu, the hostess didn’t greet us when we walked in, and the service was average. With the variety of restaurants in Jax, I don’t think we’ll be visiting again.

I’ve been coming here since I moved to town five years ago and whenever I do it’s a good experience that I consistently enjoy. For me their menu is a bit of a double edged sword of choice. Sure it’s nice to have so many options and so many different flavors to play around with but its so big that it can be a but overwhelming since I say«I’ll have…» but(blank) sounds good too. Not that I’m complaining, but it can still be a bit of a challenge(at least for me). If you are a drinker the bar and beer selection are great. Since I’m not a drinker I can’t give much insight there other than when I’ve been there for sporting events I don’t hear anyone complaining(though I could hardly hear anything at all) As far as quality goes the place is solid. It’s not exceptional, and for me nothing stands out as amazing, but nothing is ever bad. Wait staff have always been great and I’ve never had any service issues that I can remember. It’s great for groups, you have tons of TVs to watch. My only issues with this place is the thing that bothers me to no end at this, and many other places around town too… seating. Why is it that no one wants to pad their booths or chairs anymore? There are times when I sit there and it’s downright uncomfortable on those hard wooden benches. My other suggestion is for people like me who don’t like crowds or tons of noise. If you want to watch a game and actually hear it then don’t go here. The crowd is so loud and the noise so overwhelming that you are better off finding another place that’s more quiet and less busy. I went a couple of years ago with friends for a UFC fight(I still don’t know why) and there was a baseball game on too. I couldn’t concentrate on the game because people were yelling and screaming and the music was so loud. I was miserable that night and won’t make that mistake again.

We were actually in the mood for grilled burgers and were not disappointed. We ordered the“build your own”. Deliciously prepared and served with onion rings for a nominal up charge. Excellent service and extensive drink menu.

A very good atmosphere, a good chill spot. Excellent food choices. I have had the 35 shrimp dinner. It was well worth it, they are the large shrimp, not tiny popcorn shrimp like some places give. And the Blue Long Island Iced Tea pitchers are my favorite. 2 thumbs up

Amy and I have eaten here a couple of times and on both occasions the food and service has been excellent! Both times we’ve been later in the evening, so seating has never been an issue. The servers are friendly and helpful and bring drink refills to the table when needed, which is a plus! We will definitely return in the future, whether for food or drinks! The food and drink prices are reasonable, so it shouldn’t be a problem to eat and have a drink or two for a decent price.

We’ve only been to Miller’s a couple of times and we really need to make a point to hit this place up more often. They are open until 2am every night and we are night owls, so this is perfect for us. Since both times we’ve been here it’s been around midnight on a weeknight, it hasn’t been very crowded. I’ve read other reviews where people have said just stick to the drinks, but the food I’ve tried here has been quite good. They have daily specials, so make sure to check them out. Last time here, hubby and I shared the 1 ¼ pound of baby back ribs for $ 10.99. An amazing deal! That’s their Monday special, but I’m not sure how long it will last. Back to the ribs, the sauce had the perfect sweet/tang to it and they were fall-off-the-bone tender. I would order these again even at the regular price of like $ 16. They have late night specials on their appetizers too, although I can’t speak for the price of everything. We had the loaded cheese fries for $ 5(I think they are regularly priced at $ 8) and they were good. They were nothing overly-special and honestly could have used more cheese, but nonetheless, they were quite tasty… especially for $ 5 and the portion was huge! Our friends ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and I loved them. Some of the best I’ve had in a while. They were battered properly and cooked to golden perfection. Like the loaded cheese fries, the onion rings were a good-sized portion and enough to go around for a table of four. Our friends had the sliders and the french onion soup. Both looked yummy and I will definitely consider ordering those items in the future. They have drink specials all day, every day here. So make sure to ask about them. As others have mentioned, there are flat screens everywhere, so this is a good place to come eat, drink, and watch a game. During regular hours and game times, I’m sure this place can get pretty rowdy. Our service has been excellent here. Servers have been very attentive, our orders have been correct, and our drinks have been kept filled. Again, we were here late at night and the place was pretty dead, so service might not be as great during peak times. Restaurant is clean and is a comfortable environment. It has a very welcoming feel to it. We’ll definitely be back. The NBA finals are coming up soon and I hear they have pitchers of Sangria for $ 10! This could be the place we head to watch a few of the games this year!
