I come for the snow bowls. Particularly the Far East snow bowl. The yogurt is fine and dandy but the bowls are where it’s AT for me. The closest I’ve come to Hawaiian shaved ice – by shaved ice I mean the ultra fine delicate ice shaving that melt upon contact. It’s a little different though because this bowl has taro ice. But I still love it. If you don’t have an Eastern palette then the Far East might not be for you. I grew up on Halo-Halo(no, not the Video game) so this bowl pleased me immensely. In fact, fro yo is dead to me after this. They do have other more conventional snow bowls so there’s that. I took a blurry photo of the menu. Squint at it and go to Mochi if you’re curious. Or even if you’re not curious, go anyway. This, Sephora and the Apple Store are one of the very few reasons I would subject myself to the thing that is the Town Center.

Everytime I come here the place is dirty but it’s only froyo place open late. The selection is small but it works for those last minute late nighy froyo trips

Dessert from @mochijaxtc! Always consistent, yummy and friendly service. The staff is always cleaning and refilling the stations w/fruits and candy. If you don’t see your favorite topping they will go look in the back for you! Every time I ask they bring it out. My husband and I rarely have date night. But Saturday we did and it was delightful to share the Far East snow bowl. This place always leaves us happy even if we are stuffed and think we can’t have dessert. The hubs isn’t much of a dessert eater. But when I offer Mochi as a choice I get no complaints from him and he always agrees. Best part of this establishment they always have lactose free options. Recommend? Yes! Would I go again… Of course!

16 $ for Two SMALL CUPs! Never again. Absurd over priced. And not very clean. I am not impressed. Just go somewhere else

A $ 7 snack and not a single clean table to sit down. Not like they’re even remotely busy, either.

The Froyo didn’t taste all that good. Even the mochi topping wasn’t good. I usually love all Froyo places but it just wasn’t good. Very little flavor and topping selection. I think it was overpriced. Not sure how the ice bowls or mochi ice cream is. I won’t be back. Oh yeah the bathroom was dirty. I should have checked how gross it was ahead of time.

Why do people come to this place? The toppings aren’t even that good and they have a horrible selection of frozen yogurt to choose from! They only have six flavors whereas other frozen yogurt places across town have at least 10! It is more expensive than most places and if use debit, the receipt requests gratuity. Isn’t the whole idea of frozen yogurt to serve yourself? Ridiculous! Not going back.

I love Mochi. No matter how stuffed I am, I will never turn it down. Taro is my favorite flavor, so I always get that and sprinkle a little bit of Mochi on it, sometimes strawberry fruit too. A newfound flavor for me, which is my second fave, is the fruity cereal yogurt. It reminds me of the milk tea Boba I had when I was in Thailand. I love that they give out sample cups to try out new flavors and aren’t too stingy about it, and I also love that they rotate different flavors regularly but keep the taro as a daily =) Seating inside is very limited and cramped, and usually there will be a few(rude) people that will save tables. Outdoor seating isn’t as bad, so we’ll grab a table if we can or will just sit in our car and enjoy our froyo.

I’m not a big frozen yogurt fan but my kids are. While on vacation in JAX we went to Mochi Frozen Yogurt for the first time last yr, but the one on Beach Blvd, n my kids loved it. Now that we live down here, they were so excited that we can go more often. We came to the location at the Towncenter but even after a yr my kids still remember that the other location had more yogurt n topping options. Overall space seems smaller. The fruit topping looks really fresh, however the mango used for the Snowbowl wasn’t ripe enough. Speaking of snowbowls, I love that Mochi is offering this item. There are 4 different choices; the one I ordered was the Far East bowl. They didn’t have red bean ice cream so they substituted vanilla ice cream. It was very good but would have been awesome with ripe mangoes n red bean ice cream. This location also does NOT accept the 15% Unilocal check-in when it clearly states it’s valid at the Towncenter but let me use the 10% off bc I mentioned Unilocal.Check their Facebook page since they run specials often, but they discounts are usually less than the Beach Blvd location.

Not all frozen yogurt shops are created equal. If they don’t have taro flavor it’s a bust for me and Mochi has one of the best that I’ve tasted! I love the more tart flavors than the rich chocolatey ones so I can always count on them to have my favorite flavors and fresh toppings. They usually offer more of the unique flavors such as lychee, melon, papaya and pistachio, all very delicious. I believe they were one of the first yogurt places in town that was self service before everyone else jumped on the bandwagon. Customer service is always pleasant and while sometimes it can get crowded the line moves quick. It’s rare that I will go anywhere else. Don’t forget your punch cards!

Where’s the button for 100 stars? I like that this Mochi is attached to Bento blue so after I fill myself with sushi I can eat some delicious(yet nutritious) yogurt. You can either be an angel and top your yogurt with fruit, or be a devil and top it with all the sweets your heart desires.

Just good things can be said about this place. Fresh fruits, delicious frozen yogurt, very clean premise, excellent customer service. I visited Mochis on Saturday night. I chose four different flavors, mango, stawberry, kiwi, and other that I dont remember, and lots of nuts, including macadamia and almonds. Final price, $ 8.32! Well, it could have been less due to I forgot to use the 15 percent Unilocal discount. I enjoyee much my frozen yogurt.

Always one of our favorite desert places. Love their cake batter, pecan praline and country vanilla flavored yogurt. Their mochi balls are my husbands favorite. Modern décor, always clean, friendly staff. Nice selection of toppings. Wish they would bring back the hot fudge machine though.

Very good yogurt — appears to have Corn Syrup or HFCS in the yogurt. Why no ingredient list anywhere on the web site or in the store? Here is link to «5 Reasons High Fructose Corn Syrup Will Kill You »

First, let me say: Whoever came up with the flavor divider that goes into your fun cup is a genius and better be making millions haha. It totally leaves the guess work out when you want to mix mango and taro and white chocolate together, Anyway, this is a great spot for a small treat after lunch or for a frozen yogurt meal when you’re in the mood for something sweet. Fresh fruits, sinful candies and nostalgic cereal toppings galore. There is something for everyone here!

The picture I posted was a Far East snowbowl. It looks way different than the one I usually get. Started off, the store was empty. I was literally the only customer there. Yet it took them 30 minutes to give me my snowbowl with a simple«sorry.» The shaved ice wasn’t taro like it was supposed to be. All the ingredients were skimped. The shaved ice was melted as well. Dear Mochi, I’ve been coming to this location since you’ve first opened. Please train your staff better and DONOT skimp. THANKYOU. Ps: that was the most boring, ugliest snowbowl I’ve seen.

I’m so glad my local Jacksonville friends took me here — it was a fabulous frozen treat on a hot end-of-summer afternoon. Before our snow bowl, I took the opportunity to sample the taro and watermelon sorbet frozen yogurts. Taro is usually a go-to for me at any frozen yogurt place, but here, I would not have picked it. Taro shouldn’t be tangy at all and it definitely is here. Boo. However, the watermelon sorbet was refreshing and did not taste artificial. As for the Far East Snowbowl which was the main attraction during my visit to Mochi, at $ 6.95, this giant bowl of blissful snowy goodness is enough for 4 people to share. This«snowbowl» is a popular Asian treat and is usually comprised of shaved milky ice with various toppings on top. The taro shaved ice was gratifying and the condensed milk on top along with the red bean ice cream, mochi(sweet glutinous rice cakes), lychee jelly, fresh mango, and fresh strawberries that garnished the«snow». One thing that was missing was the red bean paste. As a group of Chinese/Taiwanese people, we’re really into that red bean anything, so it’s a shame it was missing. We didn’t bother asking them to add it though. Overall, this was a delectable treat and the only minuses here were missing ingredients on our snow bowl and less-than-mediocre taro frozen yogurt. As for service, the female employee that brought us our bowl even helped us take a picture, though the male behind the counter seemed like he hated being there. I definitely did not hate being there!

Love this place for a sweet cold treat. Favorite flavors have got to be original, taro, and lychee. I wish they had matcha green tea flavor – they would definitely win me over with that. Mochi toppings a must along with all the fruit selections. They also have the new snow bowl, and it reminds me of Korean shaved ice dessert, patbingsu, in a much smaller scale. The toppings here were mediocre, and no red bean when I last visited.
