The kids love Moe’s. For me it’s good but not great. What I did like was that kids eat free on Tuesdays with the purchase of an entrée of $ 5.99 or more. Although they forgot to adjust the bill during checkout, they kindly made things right when I brought it up.

Came in today with my wife and kids. Ordered over $ 23 dollars in food. The chicken was dried out and hard, rice the same way. Never have I had poor quality from a Moe’s before. Another thing that really disgusted us was one of the employees was sitting in a booth with a female and he was all over her and kissing all over her for the whole length of time we were there. An employee needs to carry themselves better when they can be identified as an employee even if they are on a break. Needless to say… I will not return to this location.

Part of the appeal of Moe’s is that you get the same level of service at any location you visit. However, for some reason this location feels as if it’s letting the side down as I’ve never had a truly good meal here. Heck, I discovered that it was this specific location that took care of our recent corporate catering order and the food was barely lukewarm when our guys started eating. I acknowledge that its proximity to the Mall means higher-than-average foot traffic, but regardless of the time of day that I’ve visited, the floors are always dirty, the tables and chairs are always sticky and my order almost never comes out right and they invariably have to peel open my food and add the bits they missed. I’m not sure if the high foot traffic means they don’t have the time to clean up OR if they over-confidently assume that the high foot traffic guarantees regular business and means they don’t have to maintain their restaurant to as high a standard as other Moe’s locations. I always hear one adult(the Manager?) enthusiastically bellowing out the universal Moe’s greeting just as warm and loud as you could hope for, however the rest of the staff seem less than enthused at having a customer walk though the door and more interested in talking amongst themselves. I believe that this location needs to stop hiring inexperienced workers and hire people with a few more years of customer and/or food service under their belt as the food accuracy and overall customer service experience are currently lacking. Right now, if I’m in the Avenues Mall area when a Moe’s craving hits, I drive the few extra miles to eat at the Moe’s on Southside & Atlantic as I know that there I am guaranteed to get the complete Moe’s experience.

I love Moe’s. You can’t beat the queso. The brand is phenomenal, the management at this location is a little less than desirable. However, for the consistently good food albeit a little pricey for the amount of queso I enjoy, stick with Moe’s. :)

For what it is, I like Moe’s. I can get a healthy fresh salad with lots of fresh ingredients. I like the fresh jalapeño, cilantro, cucumber, salsa, etc. I also enjoy the sautéed vegetables. I only give it three stars because It’s just good, not exceptionally good.

This 3 star visit makes me sad. Because I absolutely love Moe’s. However, the awkwardness that was my pick up order was just not okay. My friend called in a to-go order about 20 minutes before closing for me to pick up since I was right around the corner. Yes, I know this puts me in the jerk category of customers but still… from experience in the restaurant industry, I know I’ve handled this scenario a thousand times better. I made it on time(a few min before closing at 9pm), with my Moe’s bucks ready to pay and run out so they could close down. As the cashier began to ring me up, about half way through she turns to someone in the kitchen area that’s tucked back and asks, «What time is it?» — HUGENOGO. As someone who has worked nothing but customer service related jobs & has had to bite their tongue just to make the customer feel always right — this type of attitude and rude service is not acceptable. You do not need to attempt to make me feel terrible for coming in before closing time. That’s not customer service, that’s just being upset with things you cannot control. It rubs me so wrong that I’m actually writing a review about it. I don’t like saying negative things, I really don’t. Anyway, the cashier continued to signal the other works to, «You know what to do… Shut off the lights». That’s cool, there was only 4 booths full of families aside from me standing 2 feet away from her… Not okay. I am not sure why anyway would feel it’s necessary to be rude intentionally. Yes, clearly I know it’s 4 minutes before you close — hence why I repeatedly apologized as I came in(and was prepared to tip. *was*) Not only that, but my friend made it very clear how close I would be to running in before closing time, so if it’s such a disturbance, don’t encourage customers to do so. I freaking LOVE Moe’s and usually receive outstanding service. This was just a bad night I guess? #stayinghopeful

Welcome to Moe’s! Not much to say about this one. Great food, dynamite service from the restaurant manager herself, and a consistent experience. I am relatively new to «Moe’s» and am quickly becoming a fan.

This location is just«eh». It was very busy, but the serving line looked kind of ragged. The rice was seriously sad looking. The servers definitely uninterested with their job. It’s unfortunate. The food I had(steak bowl) was just ok. I do li, e that Moes serves peppers, onions and mushrooms(unlike Chipotle). I hate to compare, but to me, Chipotle is many times better… both in food and appearance. Given a choice, I will not be back.

I used to love Moe’s, and when I worked in the area some of the staff knew my order. This location however has seemed to go downhill slightly from what I remember. The crispy tacos fell apart and I had to add extra support chips so I could eat them. It’s not that Moe’s is bad. There have been times that I crave it and the one near me at the Beach meets that craving with no problem. There just seems to be so many better options, especially in relation to where this one is located.

I have been to several Moe’s locations in the area and this is the worst by far. Much smaller portions and indifferent staff combine to make this a ‘one and done’ for me. For example, a staffer was getting a drink for himself and dropped a huge chunk of ice on the floor. He glanced at it and continued about his business not bothering to clean up his mess. I left shortly thereafter and am not sure whether anyone took a spill due to his laziness. If I get the hots for Moe’s, it will definitely be at a different location.

This Moe’s location is smaller than others that I have been to. It’s clean and the staff is polite. They have the standard menu selections and offer the same salsas that other Moe’s locations offer. Drinks are self-serve and they have a small selection of beer to choose from. The drink machine is pretty high-tech. It is a touch screen with one dispenser. You make your selection on the screen and then push a button to fill your cup. I’ve never seen one like this before. Anyway, this is just as good a Moe’s as any other in the country.

Like it. Huge Portion Burritos that I could finish only half. If you are on diet, this is not your place.

Well, Unilocal… I still love Moes a lot.(: Went here a few days ago with a few friends who were in town from San Diego to show them the gloriousness of Moes queso. What is really cool about Moes nowadays is you can get smaller versions of their monster burritos, i.e. a Joey(formally named ‘Joey bag of Donuts’, which confused my friend immensely) Junior which is simply a smaller burrito shell than the normal Joey with rice, your choice of black or pinto beans, choice of meat and other fixins. They also have a meal deal where you can add chips, queso and a drink for a really low price. My meal the other night was $ 5.63 with tax. Sweet! My suggestion in regards to what you put in your burrito are: pinto beans, half steak/half chicken, shredded cheese and lettuce. THEN, go to the awesome salsa bar and get two cups of the dark red salsa. Once you sit down with your sweet tea to drink, peel your foil halfway off your burrito and drizzle salsa and queso from your side cup that comes with your meal on each bite. It doesnt make sense to order queso in your burrito when they charge you extra so I just use part of my dipping queso, at no charge, and it works out wonderfully! Actually now that I think about it… Im writing this review from Starbucks next door and I might run over and get some chips… woot! Try it, youll love it. Well, you wont love it if youre looking for a gourmet or super Mexican buttiro, but if thats what youre looking for, you most certainly should not be going here. However, if youre just looking for a rolled up mess of queso covered awesomeness, this is your place.(:

Eh… at least they’re cheap, but not very good. If you can make it to Burrito Gallery, go there instead. If you can’t make it to BG… then head to Chick-fil-a.

Burritos were my main local takeout food when I lived in Boston. Here, Moe’s is just across the street. I don’t think I’ll be back, however: I consider their burritos to be below average. I’ve tried Moe’s twice. The first one was loaded with all the unhealthy stuff, so it should have been good, but it wasn’t. I didn’t like the pulled pork in it: why couldn’t they stick with carnitas, usually the best meat at a burrito place? The second time I tried it healthy: chicken, guac, and no cheese. It just didn’t taste good enough for me to be motivated to go back. For not-unhealthy local takeout fast food I’ll be sticking with Wendy’s and Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches.

We enjoy going there because of the atmosphere, quality of burrito, and friendliness of staff. The condiments they put in burritos is better than Qudoba or Chipotle. We especially enjoy their cucumbers, olives, vinaigrette, pico, etc. You get a nice full burrito everytime. You also get free chips and a variety of their own salsa including green salsa(‘Salsa Verde’). Seating outside is available too.

They make a nice, thick, full burrito. Or rather, you do. Think of it as a Subway, except better and with burritos. Their tortilla chips and salsa are pretty good, too. A great place to drop by for a quick meal. Expect to pay about $ 8 – 10 per person.

A lot of peeps like the Moe’s and it is surprising that there aren’t any reviews. Perhaps they are so ubiquitous that no one needs a review? My excuse? I don’t like the place enough to mention it. In fact, it’s probably one of the worst burritos I’ve had. I’ve been there about 5 times though, because often it’s convenient and cheap. And they have one in the Atlanta Airport. The other ones I’ve tried are in San Marco and over near Tinseltown. I like the names, like the Joey Bag of Doughnuts or the Art Vandelay or Triple Lindy, but it’s not enough to make me want to eat there. The meat is not well flavored, the rice and beans often are not hot enough and there just is an overall lacking of flavor. I’m spoiled though, being from Cali. Better burritos can be had here in Jax too… I think the Burrito Gallery downtown is better… Heck, even Cheesecake Factory has a better burrito. If Chipotle didn’t have 1000 calories a burrito then I’d like them alot more too… They are pretty good.
