Pro? They got us in to a same-​day appointment via a referral from my pediatrician.
Pro? The waiting room is very spacious and inviting.
Pro? All the staff was very nice.
Con? Once we were put into a room and the intake was done by the assistant, it was OVER AN HOUR before someone came by to say «Oh, the doctor just got out of surgery. He has one thing to do and then he’ll be in.» EXCUSE ME? SURGERY? Someone is just NOW telling us this? So then I wondered if they «squeezes us in» (I wasn’t told so if they did) or if it was emergency surgery (again, they didn’t say so) – either of which would have given them more leeway in my eyes for the wait.
Con? Once the doctor came to us, it was literally a two-​minute ordeal which consisted of putting in an eye drop and looking at my baby’s eye with a blue light. I’m not counting this against them, but really? That’s something an assistant couldn’t do? Ugh.
So, overall, three stars. I am leaning more towards MEH but since they did get us in same day, I’m sticking with A-​OK. We’ll see how the follow-​up appointment goes in two weeks.
