Protect Your Home is the bad guy. They distribute ADT and mascarade as ADT. They are just the distributor. They keep it quiet, It’s in tiny print on the contract. Salesman said he was from ADT and «had one in his car», so he would put it in. I never signed a contract … the salesman did it all. Repeat, I … did … not … sign … a contract … with … them. The salesguy «filled in the blanks» on his hand-​held device. Even my initials, all very different from my own. Two weeks later I was surprised to get contract in the mail. Also «permit to install» arrived 2 weeks later. I told them what happened at the time, but got shifted around and no reply. What they did is a fraud. I will contact the Better Business Bureau for help because they still ignore me.

I wish I could give ADT ZERO stars. This business is a rip off. Agents/​Sales Tech/​Install Techs say/​explain one thing and then the contract says another. ADT doesn’t just let you out of a contract when it is complete if you’re not satisfied, they charge you to move and sign a new contract, and repeatedly lie and interpret contracts for their favor. I do not recommend ADT services to anyone!
