So I shouldn’t keep posting about this place but I have to say that a HACK named CESAR P emailed me regarding my last REVIEW. He told me that what I wrote was inaccurate and untrue. Since he wants to go there, I’ll break it down for Unilocal users. For one, the blond bimbo did charge me $ 48($ 30 for a half ass blow dry, $ 10 for some treatment to my hair that I didn’t ask for and $ 8 for a spray that I got bullied into buying because the bimbo kept saying in her broken English to buy because it was good for my hair like 3 times; but in reality it just makes my hair greasy. Also, CEASAR P, she did tell me they close the salon at 5pm not 7pm. But my biggest issue is that she would blurr a bunch of words in Spanish assuming that a white woman does not speak or understand Spanish. She(blond lady) said in spanish«I am going to tell her that we close soon so she doesn’t decide to go under the hair drier». I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and I hate truly hate when I get double standards in latin hair salons. It is unfortunate that I have to deal with double standards in the year 2010 just because alot of typical American hair salons can’t manage Jewish curls as well as Dominican salons do. Next time CEASAR P, if you are not there or actually work in a place don’t assume things don’t happen since you just lost a customer for life. Also my friend Amy got the run around when she tried to get her nails done there. She was told 3 day in a row that nail lady was unavailable to come back tomorrow and that lady was never there. I finally told her to go to NAILS2000 in south street best nail place in JP. Believe me I stand by my review this place is awful, the customer service is non existent(since the hair dressers do what they want to with the customer’s hair not what they are told to do) and I’ll just be firm when I know I getting half ass treatment in salons I am paying for a service I ask for. Salons in NYC are so much different then these ridiculous places in Boston.
