Cookie’s The Kids Department Store

This was an online order. I live in California. I ordered a uniform blouse for my 8 year old daughter who wears a size M or 8 in girls. The shirt arrived and she couldn’t even get it to button in the front without it looking like a button was going to come flying off. My girl is a petite child. The sizes run small and not true to size. I read through the paperwork that came with the blouse to see how I could exchange it for another size. It stated that in order to return or exchange I could not send items back without and RMA number accompanying my return. If any item was returned without the RMA a refund would not be issued. I then called the phone number to talk to someone about getting an RMA. After getting through the automated voice recording I then sat waiting on the phone for over 30 min. and still never got to speak with anyone. I then emailed the company regarding the exchange request for an RMA and have not hear back from the company at all. Maybe leaving a review here will notify them that they have a customer in need of assistance and they will take the time to respond faster. This is my first time buying from this company, and unless I get a timely resolution to my dilemma, it will likely be my last purchase with them.

This store is kept very clean and organized. Email Coupons will save you alot. The name brands are nothing to write home about (Baby Phat, Guess, Nautica) however if marked sale price, there are good deals. The mark downs are amazing.

I had to go with my neighbor to pick up a crib for his newborn he put on layaway here. This store is jam packed with children’s clothing of every size, shape, style, color, you name it they have it. The prices obviously reflect the quality and the employees have an I don’t care attitude.
Why does it take 30 minutes to pick up something that has been paid off for weeks? First they were looking for it, then the slide/​conveyor belt wasn’t working. Then we lifted the box to leave and the attendant had to see our receipt again to sign off on it even though he had been walking around the store with it for 29 of the 30 minutes we were there.
Then again, it’s Jamaica Avenue, I must lower my expectations, who shops here anymore? WTH was my neighbor thinking, lol.

When you need a uniform for your kids they have a very large supply of french toast brand items the prices are generally good.
