New Life Christian Bookstore

Believe it or not, it is really hard to find a place, standing store/​not online, to purchase a Bible or anything religious in nature but I am very glad for Unilocal in helping me to find this place. I surprised my husband with a LARGE Bible, engraved with his name for Valentines Day and he absolutely LOVES it! It included a simplified translation of the Word and cross-​references, brilliant! I had actually been looking for this as a gift for this past Christmas… needless to say I was unsuccessful but I did not give up and luckily found this blessing of a store. I didn’t pay too much attention to prices so I really can’t speak on this subject but I did pick a few items for my daughter’s as well, also for Valentines Day and spent about one hundred (give or take)…My husband loves it, it looks like leather and has his name on it which is unique in itself. The young lady who helped me was very pleasant, and was very helpful in deciding on my final purchase… they honestly have a huge selection which left me very undecided, and she advised me of the option to engrave. I will be back definitely for Christmas gifting, ’cause even my 9 year old daughter loves the idea of the engraving… it was very special indeed! They do have more than Bibles, in case you were wondering. There is a whole library of books in the back. I have not searched that far beyond the Bibles but will do so in the near future. Mugs, shirts, greeting cards, bookmarks, jewelry… tons of items to choose from, so get out there… also if you can recall we had a lot of snow this past Winter so parking was limited around that time. I didn’t see a parking lot if there was one. It is next to a car dealer ship. The store could really benefit from a parking lot… I think there was meter parking in front but don’t quote me on that.

This place is really nice. There aren’t too many religious bookstores in NYC and this is a nice option for people in Queens. I came to get a gift for my niece’s baptism. They have a nice selection of items including house things, bookmarks, jewelry, DVDs, videos, CDs and books. Oh the books! They have a huge selection of books that goes all the way into the back of the store. I love bookstores and books so this made me feel like a kid in a candy store. They have books on all kinds of topics and bibles as well. They have a second level which I didn’t check out but I think it have music and other media items. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I spent way more money than I intended to on my nieces gift as well as some stuff for my mom. If you need a place for religious gifts for others or yourself, give this place a try.

I enjoy coming to this place to obtain books and bibles. I also buy gifts for all the special people in my life. Great place to shop. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a wide variety of Bibles from a different translations. It has two floors first floor has books guests Bibles and the floor below has music and movies and t-​shirts. They also carry a large variety of speciality ministry books and clothing.

I LOVE this store. They have an extensive selection of anything you could possibly want. They are very friendly and helpful. I love the music booths downstairs where you can listen to cds prior to purchasing them. The store is very well stocked and clean.

Wonderful, friendly employees who know what customer service should be like. Huge selection of bibles, gifts, books, and even Spanish items. I didn’t get to check out the music department downstairs). I even spotted some Jewish prayer shawls and shofar horns.
I got my bible engraved on the cover for only $ 5 in gold.

This is a really good store.
They have almost everything you can think of from books and bibles, to trinkets, ornaments, accessories, you name it. They even have a huge music section. Of course the best part of this store is its people.
Every time we’re in here we’re quickly and graciously attended to by some of the nicest people.
Whether you’re looking for a bible, gospel music, or just something nice for the house, do make it a point to stop in here.

Definitely enjoyed this store. it is cozy and has occasion cards for birthdays, ordinations, and even to encourage someone, books, music, little statues and cups, pictures and more. i purchased a birthday card and a devotional for someone and i was glad i came. there is a ten dollar min to use card here. i just wish this place was more publicized and had a brighter awning to point out its location. this is a good place and shouldn’t be so out of the way. there are not too many Christian book stores apparently publicized in NYC. This place should get more exposure. I will definitely go again.

I love this place! It has a wide variety of books and music and T-​shirts and things. There’s a basement — check it out!

I really like this bookstore. It has some really good books and music now too. They’re growing and expanding now so they have more books and music compared to when they first opened up after being shutdown for a couple years. I particularly like reading non-​fiction books on marriage and engagement since I’m newly engaged. They’ve got a nice selection and nice bibles too. Check it out for yaself
