The Secret Garden

We hired the The Secret Garden as our wedding florist and they did an absolutely wonderful job. The flowers were stunning and they coordinated with our other vendors so well. HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Excellent and helpful staff. Ordered over the phone from another state for a funeral service. The flowers were outstanding and received many compliments.

I called to order flowers for my mother. She was coming home from the hospital but had not left it yet. It was on Saturday 6−7−14. I was concerned that they not deliver them with no one home, so asked them to call first. Unfortunately closing time came before my mother got home. My father called The Secret Garden and told them that mom was finally home at 7:30 P.M. I don’t know why someone answered, but bless them, they did. And they went out of their way to actually deliver the bouquet, which my mother says is the most beautiful she has ever seen. She says that it is loaded with many colors of roses and other flowers she can’t even name. I had ordered a «How Sweet It Is» bouquet, and picked the $ 44.95 version. Mom says it is huge. Thank you, Secret Garden!

What a special place… I had a special request and I called all round Newport withour luck. The Secret Garden stepped up and hit it out of the park. If you want to do business with a kindhearted, understanding and talented florist, I’d pick The Secret Garden.

I’ve been receiving flowers from Secret Garden in Jamestown for many years, as my sons send them to me directly from the florist for all special events. It used to be that the flowers were spectacular. I would say they looked like they belonged in a 5 star hotel lobby. They were unusual for florists as they were garden type flowers, and they were fresh and lusand lasted a long time.
I received flowers for mother’s day on Sunday, (a nice touch, delivering on the day). This was the second time I received flowers this year (last time was for my birthday in March). They are already looking bedraggled. there was a total of 5 peonies, 2 which look dead already, and 4 roses, again 2 which look dead, stems are droopy, and tons of filler. the lilacs and irises they put in are dead already.
The flowers I got for my birthday were the same condition — mostly filler with a few big blooms. They ar plunked into a vase and have no grace or style. Last year they were not as great as in the past, but this year they are really a disappointment. I know they were expensive. I am going to ask my sons to stop using Secret Garden. I am not sure why they have become so mediocre or less, but I am not going to continue to have them as my florist of choice.
If you decide to use them, call them directly and tell them that they are being evaluated. Maybe then you may get fresh flowers and value for the money. Then again, maybe you won’t.
