Ivy League Photography has the best intuition for capturing your essence. I am so very happy with my headshot‼. David makes the experience fun and playful, without ever saying ‘Smile’. He loves shooting in a relaxed natural setting, making his subject (s) relaxed. He gets into your inner self, bringing it out in your photo. I highly recommend David for all your personal AND business photography needs ‼

David shot our entire group in one 45 minute session and was the ultimate pro the response on Facebook about the pictures he shot was phenomenal and I highly recommend his work without hesitation a nice sincere chap with a good sense of humor that made our group very comfortable major kudos!!!

Ivy League Photography is a portrait/​event photography studio run by David Knoll. Our family met David for a family shoot in Coronado. David was on time and a charismatic individual. He wanted to shoot at sunset so we played around with a few locations and waited for the lighting to get ideal. Working with David was often frustrating, in part, because his directions for us were confusing and, c’mon, we’re not models afterall! Ultimately, however, such a low rating rests in the business afterwards. Granted that photography is as much of a business as an art (okay really it’s just a business for these guys) but we were very unsatisfied with the final look of the images. To top things off, he signed his name in silver Sharpie on each print. TACKY! Just forewarned that on the business end he’s a bit of a hustler and unpleasant to work with. There’s too much pressure for portrait photographers to produce original work. I’d give David 3 stars for the quality of his work but sadly it’s only part of the experience.
