In town for business I googled best places in Janesville for cheese curds and this place comes up. I navigated the downtown construction and was a little worried it was a dive bar from its appearance. But the food was AMAZING! They have several different kinds of cheese curds j had the muenster and jalapeño ones. So good. Their soup was fresh as well. Service was very attentive and they had a good selection of craft beer. Don’t judge this book by its cover stop in you won’t be disappointed. Also great happy hour specials 3 – 6!

I was really doubtful that i could find a good pub burger in Janesville — this place proved me wrong. I rarely give 5 stars, but this one is definitely on the border. The burger was huge, had lots of unique touches, but was a little too greasy for my taste(literally dripping juices and grease on my plate). The cheese curds were unique and really delicious. Not too heavy or over battered. My partner’s wings were breaded, which we didn’t expect, but had nice flavor. We went on a Monday at about 3pm, so the place was nice and empty. I wouldn’t go back for dinner, but that’s just because i dislike the loud bar scene. It definitely seemed popular, and the drink prices were very nice — i ordered one that was on special and ended up getting a second for free, which was a nice surprise. I am sure I’ll be back when i get another pub burger craving, though I’m still full from my last one a week later.

I came in not knowing what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised! The food was good and there were a lot of little marks of quality that of did not expect like homemade chips and croutons. The service was very good too. It’s 4 stars for a Janesville pub.

I came here on a Thursday night. The crowd seemed to be comprised of regulars ONLY. Nonetheless, the bartender was quick and heavy handed. Not to mention there were tons of games to play and tvs to watch! My husband and I both had one drink and with tip, everything came out to $ 8. I will definitely be returning here. You can’t beat strong, cheap drinks.

Have had the fish there before, and burgers, and they have been pretty decent. I would recommend against ordering their taco pizza, it is really mushy and gross and thrown together. I would also beware of the on-tap margarita, really not good.

I really love the food here. It’s hard to find a good bar burger in the Janesville area and this is my solid #3 spot. If the service wasn’t so horribly bad, I would easily move this up on my list. They have burgers with fried eggs(very good if you’re wondering), a decent bar menu with good variety, and, for adventure eaters like me, the 2 pound Time Out Burger. I ate it, in one sitting… It’s a great place to see a game or have a drink. Again, I would give this 5 stars if the service was better. It’s bad when you have to wait 20 minutes for a bill.

Stoped in on a trip thru WI recently. Not a bad plce to grab some quick bar food. Typical menu of burgers, pizza & chix sandwiches. I wouldn’t say the place was dirty, a tad run down maybe.
