Best Western Plus Capital Inn

They should be very proud of this property. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more. Mary at the front desk was great. Hope to return soon.

We TOTALLY enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very clean. I didn’t get one grossed out feeling when entering the room. The floor felt safe to walk on and the bedspread felt safe. ;-? My husband is very tall and we seldom find a shower where the shower head is high enough where he can get a good wash without ducking; this one was excellent! The hotel was full but we found the room to be very quiet. The mattress was firm but not rock hard. We slept well! Now to the breakfast. It was very good with the added bonus of a delicious coffee cake. The coffee… oh the sweet nectar… was actually GOOD! I don’t know what they use but it definitely was NOT the standard bitter fare. I would without hesitation recommend you stay here. If we have the opportunity to drive through Jefferson City, we will be setting our GPS to this location.

Would I stay again? Yes. The room was spacious, with two queen size beds, microwave, mini fridge, desk, seating area, and a large bathroom. Plenty of fresh towels and fluffy pillows. There is an indoor heated pool and hot tub. There is a small section for sundries and toiletries in case you forgot anything. And a coin operated laundry. There is a large dining room with a complementary hot breakfast from 6:00 am — 10:00 am including waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls, etc.
The price for our room was average, about $ 95 + taxes.
The only problem we experienced was the smell of pool chemicals and humidity in the halls and the edges on the sides of the bed were like hard wires. The center of the bed was fine.

Overall this is a pretty good place. There were a few minor things that kept me from
Giving 5 stars. My room had a slight smell to it upon entering it. It was not horribly strong, but it was a noticeable musty smell. Also housekeeping only made my bed and didn’t empty my bathroom trash or clean the bathroom and I had to go to the front desk and ask for more towels. Other than that the desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. There were cookies in the evening for all guests and a hot breakfast available each morning. The rooms are rather large and the beds are comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place. Our MAIA team has been using this place for years for the education hotel and I know why. It’s great. Ms. Maureen at the morning desk was totally kind and hospitable! Totally enjoying the stay!

This Best Western Capital Inn seems to be relatively newly built, but I like what Best Western is doing with its décor! The lobby area is quite spacious and beautiful, the pool is, beautiful, and our room is huge and beautiful! We’re traveling with two kids, but the beds (which are on the firmer side) are queen sized so there’s enough room to avoid the tossing and turning of the little ones. I think our room also has a pull-​out couch in case we need to banish one of them. I travel a lot for business too, but this place is as nice as some of the nice business hotels I’ve stayed in. There is a single-​cup coffee maker, microwave, and fridge in the room too. Nice breakfast buffet is included. Oh, and the ENTIRE hotel is non-​smoking!!!
