Went to the store with a friend of mine and bought a Vape mod(e-cigarette) that I had looked at a couple of times before when I was getting other smaller items. Before I bought it, I put my RDA(dripper tip) and battery in so that I could see how well it worked, not very good but I thought that my battery life was at its end and charging it or another battery would improve. I asked the clerk many questions since I am living 30 miles from the city and being disabled, it is painful to travel back and forth, and one of my concerns was if I could return it if a fully charged battery didn’t improve the performance quality of the mod, and I was assured several times that if I wasn’t happy with it for any reason that I could return it as long as I kept the receipt and was within 30 days. I came home and tried a fully charged battery and it still performed like I was using a dying battery. After trying to get the new mod to function correctly for a couple of days I removed my tip and battery, placed the mod back in its box and after a total of 12 days of ownership I made the decision to return it before I got anywhere close to the 30 day return policy. When I got to the shop and was telling the story to the same clerk I purchased it from, they called the owner and explained the situation and he told the clerk not to take it back and that I would have to try to settle the situation with the makers of the vaping mod(in China) so I called China and couldn’t reach anyone. I explained to the clerk that I understood that being a small business that I would be extremely grateful for store credit and also offered to buy a more expensive mod so that the shop didn’t loose any money but I needed a strictly mechanical mod because of the sub — ohm levels that I vape at and this one would never do what I needed it to do. The clerk contacted the owner again to see if I could spend more to get the type that I needed or just have a store credit and the owner refused to be of any assistance, basically telling me that even though I followed all of his guidelines and was well within the 30 days of the return time, that basically I was the new owner of a close to $ 70 paperweight and he was not going to try to make this right. Needless to say I will never go back into the shop and people like him are causing the death of mom and pop stores, they are also what makes me shop at a chain store instead of supporting the local community small business owner, at least through I would have gotten much better customer service, a better price and not the piss-off attitude and waste of time and gas not to mention the pain I had to endure by driving back to the Sixties Spirit shop. Not only did they loose any of my future business but they really made me appreciate the help and customer satisfaction that I receive from Amazon(which has everything that I would ever buy from his shop), so thank you Chris(owner) from now on I will not only never shop for anything in your shop, but you have taught me to be more patient and just go to not just for the customer service but they have also got you beat by a long shot on the pricing. I hope that you have a great mind for business because of 70 dollars not only did you loose my business but also hopefully everyone else that I tell about my experience with your shop or customers who research with Unilocal — the Sixties Spirit shop. I hope that you enjoy what I believe is going to be a VERY short time in business, and I hope that you invest the $ 70 wisely, maybe it will buy you a little bit more time in the business community! And any questions about this shop that I have any helpful information on, if you want to message me I will do my best to try and help and maybe save someone else from going through this
