Enjoyed the drinks and absolutely loved the free live music, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We ordered a cheese and fruit plate, though, and were not fond of it. The good news is you can just go and drink beer and listen to music without ordering food.

We ordered the Ahi tuna tacos, the nachos, pizza, and a salad. The tacos had good flavor but we’re small and cold. The best part of the meal was the pizza. However we live in Houston and can get a much better meal for $ 40. The food is definitely overpriced. We did have a super sweet waitress named Abby who made it a more enjoyable experience though!

We have been there 2 times. Both times were bad experiences. Poor service. The personnel are lazy. The people smoke outside and the help will not even empty the ashtrays. I have watched them clean the tables and leave the ashtrays full of cigarettes butts. Not very appetizing to have to look at a nasty ashtray. Anymore I would be hard pressed to eat a hard boiled egg from there. So sad. It could be a wonderful place if they would clean their act up and get some good help. The owners need to sell the place and let someone with more experience own it.

Great food and really friendly staff. The restaurant is quaint, clean and perfect for a unique dining experience. All the food is made from scratch and it is all excellent. I love everything about this place and will definitely come back to see live music! Try the baked Brie!

My wife and I ordered the pulled pork nachos and the $ 16 shrimp cocktail. The nachos were cold and had less than 2 tablespoons of pork on it, pretty disappointed. The shrimp cocktail was awesome, but had barely 4 shrimp in it. When we expressed our concerns we were told it had 6 shrimp. Either way, for $ 16, it should’ve had 8 – 10 in it. The waitress was great and beer selection way above standard.

We ordered the cheese board. Sadly disappointed. It looked so promising. However, if I’m going to pay $ 20, I would at the very least expect some imported cheese on the board. There was 1. The rest was normal cheddar and white cheese cut in chunks as if we were at a Birthday party. The one redeeming factor was the crostini w tomato dipping sauce. That was quite tasty. We also ordered the mahi tuna tacos. Again we were disappointed. The corn tortillas were not even warmed, tasted like they had just come out of a store bought package. The purple cabbage on top normally would have been dressed but were not. We did enjoy the outdoor café seating. Though the courtyard could use a little work. Service was great. If they could just tweak their recipes to be as gourmet as they advertise them to be, this would be a great place to come!

Nice setting, poorly maintained. Broken planters with weeds. Dirty. Food was good, but they’re out of basic items like mixed greens. Host was nice, waiter was not wonderful. Could be a great place with good management

Pulled Pork Nachos, The Godfather Sandwich, BLTA sandwich, fried chicken were amazing. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Child friendly most of the time(live bands play Friday and Saturday nights). Will go again, and again.

We eat here because it is one of the few places in town I can get fresh fruits and good cheeses for a light lunch or dinner and my other half can have a great hamburger. I’m writing this review though bc aside from a great place to dine it is also a great place to throw a party. Kristin and her crew pulled off an incredible Lord of the Rings/Hobbit Feast fort son’s birthday. We had fruit, cheese, fresh and roasted veggies, honeycakes, seed cakes, scones, roasted chicken and birthday cake! It was all done privately in the sunroom and everyone had a good time. If you need an intimate venue for a large gathering or just a nice table for 2 call Corkyard and plan your visit.

I will never, EVER step foot in this craphole again. Let’s start with the absolutely terrible service and overpriced food. The waitress had the gall to cop an attitude with me when she took an hour to get our food. When we asked for our food to be boxed up so we could make our other plans on time she acted like we were the biggest bunch of jerks on the planet. We paid $ 80 for barely edible«food». Flatbread pizza is NOT pizza on a tortilla. The only good things about this place are the live music and decent wine selection. It is getting really hard to find a place to eat in Jefferson that doesn’t suck. Also, the $ 20 steak is a freaking JOKE. WHAT A WASTEOFMONEY!!!

Open on Monday night which was awesome. It has a lovely outside courtyard and a great selection of wines by the glass which were all half price. I got the steak salad and the French onion soup which were both delicious. The waitress was very helpful and friendly but not overbearing. I was on a business trip and dined alone and felt very relaxed and comfortable.

I wanted to like this place so much more than I did. The pros: Lovely outdoor courtyard setting, free live music! Service is fast and friendly. The food is only average, alas. And they have removed several of the options that appear on their online menu, so don’t get your hopes up. Protip for the owners, presentation counts. While both of our meals were edible, they also looked terrible, and salad dressing should never be taupe.

Loved this place! Eclectic, fun-yet-sophisticated, and creatively artistic atmosphere. Good selection of beers(try the Xingu beer– Brazilian), wines, and food. The live music sounded great, which they apparently have every weekend in the evenings. DELICIOUS flatbread pizzas! A great place to hang out with friends or family, and enjoy the creative menu and craft beers. We will be back next the time we visit for sure!

Let’s start with the wine list, as others have said they are always out of the stuff you really want. The special on Friday night is the prime rib, which is in a crock pot, outside under a lean to, which is I’m sure a health code violation. On top of that, it’s over cooked, which is a result of being in the crock pot. The waitstaff/cooks are horribly equipped to perform their duties. One waitress asked me to please fire her. Waiting on drinks is a norm if you sit in the courtyard, which I believe to be the point of the place.

Stopped by here for a few beers and a quick snack since I missed lunch. The wait staff was fine and generally friendly. That’s where the good ends. They had a good beer selection, but none of it was local. Ok that’s fine. But nearly everything I tried to order they were out of. Eventually I got a beer I wanted that they had, and the beer was good.(out of a bottle might I add) we also got some chips and guacamole, I didn’t have high expectations, but it said it was hand made daily.(Anything fresh sounds good to me) However the guacamole was actually just one of the medium spiced guacamole plastic packets you buy from and standard grocery store. On the way out we saw the premade packets in the trash.(Which just confirmed all my assumptions). The ambience was fine, but poorly executed. I can’t recommend this place, I’m sure there are better places to go in town.

This is a perfect example of a good idea that has been horribly executed. As mentioned in many reviews, this place was out of just about everything we tried to order, so much that it became almost a «lottery drawing» every time I asked about a beer on the menu. Their horrible service has to be seriously hurting their business, as I would have had double the amount of drinks had someone actually been around to take my order. I saw some things done to food that would have probably been frowned upon by the health department, and the overall food quality was kind of a joke. In conclusion, it sounded good on the internet, then proceeded to suck ball-sack in real life. I award them no points, and may God have mercy on their souls.
