I had trouble with delivery of prescription glasses. We used our insurance and order for 2 pairs of glasses was over $ 1000. We were leaving the area at the end of the month and needed our glasses delivered before that time. My husband received his and they were fine, however mine were not exactly as ordered. They were returned to the insurer for new lenses, and we were told that we would have them atleast a week before our departure. When I called two days before leaving the area, I was told that they had not arrived and they didn’t know when they would be delivered. The woman on the phone, unfortunately I didn’t get her name(fortunate for her!), argued with me about the delivery time and cost to deliver. Can’t believe, due to their mistake on timing guarantee, and after spending $ 1000+ she was going to charge us to deliver the glasses! She kept saying it wasn’t their fault and she would provide me with the insurance phone number to call. It ended up with me canceling the order since we would not pay for them to send the glasses to us. So, they lost an order because they wouldn’t comp the delivery? I have never been treated like this during a phone conversation ever! I believe this woman was assistant manager or a manager, not sure. What I am sure about is that she needs instruction on polite and courteous customer service and how to deal with difficult situations. With this company, the customer is never right! Don’t use!
