Really ridiculous store. Cramped. Too tight. Very very depressing situation.
Too many people. Thug like people. The store prices are not modest either. Manager isn’t nice. Associates are not polite or helpful.

Yup. The store’s motto holds true. C.H. Martin Stores are discount stores found in NY and NJ that carry pretty much everything. The C. H Martin in Journal Square is a full-​line discount store that sells a wide selection of products at bargain prices. It’s a pretty large store with two levels.
Honestly, you can find some decent things in the household section downstairs for cheap. I have gone here a few times to pick up shelf/​cabinet organizers, kitchenware, and tension rods (basic items, nothing fancy, that do the job) for a good price.
Again, remember, there’s nothing fancy about this place, you’re in here for the bargain. If you give it a chance and look, you will find it.
