Went for a juice this AM … Unsatisfactory report from board of health … From a vegetarian vegan place? A week later … Still closed … Looks like they’re out of business …

Awesome juice and doesn’t taste like a garden nice mix of veggies and fruit! I get all my daily supply of fruits and Vegetables thanks to LOLO! There juice is great for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. If you prefer and all veggie juice they have that too. The soups are great!

First time was great. Cashier/food guy Lee was super friendly and made me an awesome chia seed smoothie kind of thing. Second time, cashier/food girl was stank, she made me chia seed thing and then said«oh by the way we don’t have almond butter»…so I paid for my selection even though it wasn’t what I asked. Not sure I’ll ever go back.

I had to lower my review because the last few times I was there many of the options were gone. I’m not sure what’s happening but I hope they get it together and figure out what they are going for! The food was really good.

$ 10 for a juice made off site«probably yesterday». No thank you. I’ll walk up a block to Subias for a juice that was made one min ago.

Had their thin mint smoothie but it just tasted like banana, which wasn’t on the ingredient list. One employee was shelling some kind of nut in the front of the empty store. Weird experience overall, wish i liked it more.

So I’m overdue for an update on Lolo. Apparently there is a dispute with their partner, squeeze’d, over the veracity of the claims that the food and juices are indeed 1) organic 2) vegan. This leaves the café mostly empty with just a few juices and treats one can purchase at target. Disappointing, as I never did get to try the«bacon» burger(though it may have actually been a bacon burger, no quotes required). Admittedly, Lolo kind of felt too good to be true/vegan, and apparently it was.

This place was so much better when it was JuiceWell. Now they sell the same packaged juices that they have at Whole Foods, and the service is terrible. There were two people working, and only two customers in the store. All I wanted to buy was a drink. One worker was too busy making a smoothie, and didn’t even acknowledge us, I don’t mind waiting, but at least let the customer know they exist. The other employee was standing around talking to the one making the smoothie, doing absolutely nothing. Stay away from this place, bad service and overpriced juices that yuppies are more than happy to buy. Zero stars.

Only 2 people in the store trying to buy a smoothie. They clearly weren’t busy but it took forever to get our orders. The one guy finally got his and had an expression on his face. So mine was next and took 10 mins to make. So total time in Lolo 30 mins for a $ 10 shake. They really need to reevaluate their business because it would be ashamed to lose another small business at the same spot

I have tolerated LOLO because the food is so good despite the wait time and awful service. The moc n chese and raw desserts were to die for. Under new management, the food is awful, their juice is not fresh, and the options are negligible. If i could leave this place 0 stars, I would.

The food here gets five stars, no question. However, the service and wait time leaves something to be desired. I understand waiting for quality food, but 10+ minutes for one smoothie is a bit much… that plus the fact that this place has only one blender and a couple of smoothies is putting you out $ 20 and nearly half an hour wait. This place has the feel of fast food done healthy & I want it to succeed. But I also have to be able to get to work on time. Lastly, I have been here 3 times & every time they have been out of some ingredient; forgivable when you’re dealing with raw & organic components. I would like the staff to be able to suggest alternatives though. The store has nice design & branding(lots of it) but also the sense that it’s remotely owned. My hope is that this early rough period will even out into a more consistent period of high quality food AND great service. … In the meantime, please get your store another blender!

These folks are doing really great, healthy food. The veggie«Philly cheesesteak empanada» is possibly the most delicious cheesesteak I’ve ever had. The juices also taste great. Everything fresh. They’re generous on samples as they’re new, which is nice. Hoping they’ll get the Root Bar up and running as well and that we’ll see them in the spring at the farmers’ market. Overall a nice addition to downtown JC.

Love at first taste! As someone who is constantly looking for places that serve local, organic, and tasty health foods, I am very very happy about this newest addition to the DTJC community. 1) They have a wide variety of products, such as juices, salads, granola, soups, other hot foods, etc. The list goes on. And the best part is that they offer samples of pretty much everything! So if there’s anything that peaks your interest, definitely give it a try. If the sample isn’t already out, feel free to ask. I tried almost everything on my first day there.(I bought the Moc and Cheese, and it was delicious! A great gluten and dairy-free alternative to one of my personal fave comfort foods.) 2) The girl(I didn’t catch her name) was very nice and helpful. I asked her a bunch of questions about the business and products, and she answered everything. She offered me samples, and even if I wanted my moc and cheese warmed up. 3) Overall, the prices are pretty good. Some things seem a little pricey, and other things more than fair. However, we all know that organic and specialty foods(gluten free, dairy free, vegan, etc) cost a little bit more than your average store-bought or fast food meal, so I was comfortable with the prices. 4) The place itself is very cute. A few tables for dining in(and hopefully outdoor seating when it gets warm), bright colors, friendly people, and good food. And conveniently located on Jersey Ave. near a few bus stops and down the street from the Grove St. PATH, which may be a better alternative to the competitive metered and non-metered street parking. 5) They also have bike delivery around downtown JC area. Can’t wait to try out more next time!
