We have lived in the Riverside Tower for 8 years and it is an excellent place to call home. The management is quite attentive, we have an incredible super in the building, the grounds are beautiful. Our view of Manhattan beyond the Hudson River is freakin’ amazing. Best thing of all, it’s only 15 minutes by PATH from the West Village, minus the noise, the crowds, and the attitude.

This is my review for East Hampton @ 30 River Court. Shoddy construction job w/walls cracking and leaky windows makes for a horrible quality of life here. The saving grace is the Newport PATH station within walking distance. Back then, South City Grill, Babo Tea, etc didn’t exist yet. Indians seem to love the Newport area, as they are omnipresent here along with at Avalon Cove. No idea why the tennis courts are never available for use. Back in 2003, I paid $ 1525 for a 1brm(800sqft). In 2004, they raised my rent to $ 1612. Now I hear it’s Rent: Studio from $ 2000, 1br $ 2150– 2400, 2br $ 3000 – 3400(Updated Jan 08). Parking will cost you extra, I’m guessing +$ 150−200/mo. There is no gym on the premises but there is a private gym across the street. Virgil was a really cool doorman and I don’t know if Scotty is still there as the super, but he was one cool dude.
