Bluefern Spa at Johns Creek

I am reviewing the nail services at Bluefern Spa at Johns Creek. I went here because I received a SpaFinder gift card and not too many places take them. Their website makes the nail experience sound completely luxurious and I was really excited about it. The waiting room was very nice and I was offered a beverage. Then I was taken back to the nail room which was tiny and the size of a closet. It had room for a small manicure table and a pedicure chair. I was asked to pick out a color from a very small selection on the wall (and the room was dimly lit so it was hard to see what I was picking). The nail tech was very nice and we had polite conversation during the services. First she did my manicure and then she did the pedicure. I was expecting a nice spa pedicure chair, but it seemed to be a much older model. The foot basin had to be filled with water from the sink and there were no jets to keep the water circulating. Also it was a pretty chilly day outside, and the chair is directly below a ceiling air vent which had COLD air coming out of it. My basic mani and pedi cost $ 62 (not including tip). For that much money I could have had a super nice mani and pedi from a local nail place. So I would not recommend getting the nail services at Bluefern Spa. The nail tech was great but I just did not like the atmosphere or the equipment.

I had a 3:00pm appt. on Saturday, April 11^th for a facial with April for 60 mins. I arrived at 2:50 and Ashley, at the front desk said April’s appt with me was running a few minutes behind. Around 3:25 I asked how much longer?? I need to reschedule for another time. I’ve got somewhere I need to be. The client ahead of me was 30 mins. late. I asked why didn’t someone give me a courtesy call to give me a heads up? Ashley stated we both walked in at the same time. I ended up leaving. Communication would have been great especially for clients that have somewhat of a busy schedule.

Today was my first time here and I had a great experience. My daughter and I came to use the salt room and the energy of the staff and the entire spa was so pleasant I was mentally planning on utilizing more of the spas services. Everyone there regardless of who’s client was who’s were very friendly and more impressively they were all nice to my daughter. She was treated the same as everyone else it was truly a great experience at a lovely little spa we will most definitely be back.

I’ve been to this spa twice recently and loved it! It’s quiet, relaxing and I always leave with a smile. The people who work there are lovely and professional. Tara at the front desk is one of the sweetest people ever. Definitely try the salt room experience. Total zen! And get a massage with Andre.

A true pampering experience. I went here as a special birthday treat and I had a deep tissue massage and the signature organic facial. The owner is a sweetheart and he warmly welcomed me. The receptionist was so friendly and accomodating. The therapists Karen and Veronica were top notch and true professionals. I have been to many spas and I can tell the difference between experienced professionals versus the kids right out of massage school. I was treated so well and made to feel very appreciated throughout my experience. I left there feeling relaxed and with glowing skin. I am grateful that I have finally found my «go to» spa so close to home. Highly recommended. For those who seek a unique and special treat, this spa offers a Eastern European style salt room that helps to treat skin problems, sinus issues, etc. It is pretty cool. The spa is next to the Petco complex.

I had a wonderful experience at Bluefern Spa. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed and assisted by the receptionist. The spa itself has a nice relaxing atmosphere that will make you not want to step out of the building anymore.
The masseuse treated me very well and professional. She took her time to treat all the muscles with attention, and I felt great afterwards. I will definitely visit this spa again!
