Wow! This place has frozen yogurt and ice cream and they both make it a hard decision. I am not much of a frozen yogurt fan because too many of these places go the cheap route with powders and very icy frozen yogurt. I was thinking ice cream but asked for a sample of the frozen yogurt and I was blown away. This had a creamy texture and i had no desire to even put toppings on it. The frozen yogurt is made from real yogurt at a nearby Charleston establishment. This is creamy, rich, and real flavorful. I went with the butterfinger with a little side of espresso. I wasn’t a huge fan of espresso but it works well combined to make tiramasu. The ice cream could hold its own as well. It is made in Charleston at some place I didn’t know but it was also quite creamy and tasty. I went with the frozen yogurt over it because I usually go ice cream and thought the ice cream was similar to some of my favorites back in Columbus. I would make this place a surefire stop if anyone is heading through West Ashley towards Edisto or the other islands south of Charleston. I believe this place would get rave reviews if put in a hip spot. It is in the last shopping plaza with Publix before you head into the country. Its location might not be great but the inside lives up to its billing. The owner is also great guy who will talk and give you some history about his frozen yogurt. The only downside for me is $.59 a pound as that is bit steep. The ice cream is cheaper at $ 1.99 a scoop which fits better in my budget. The topping bar could also be attended to better with better signs and placement. I didn’t care because I had no need for toppings.

Most yogurt places are all the same, right? Except this one. This one has essentially the same thing as the others but it also has a small family-operated feel. The gentleman working the counter(I believe the owner) was our best friend as soon as we walked through the door. He pays attention to his current and past customers, can make recommendations about what is really popular and can answer any question. People who care about their work are just so much better at it. Great job here, we will be back.

Recently had Yum Yum for the first time. Great yogurt but don’t understand why their hours say they close at 9PM but the last couple of times we’ve gone they’ve been closed by 8:20ish. If you state you’re open to a certain time, then you should remain open until that time. We’ll give it a try one more time and see if they remain open until 9 and if not, they have lost our business!

The first froyo place I’ve tried in West Ashley area and it was just ok. They were out of vanilla when we arrived, which is my sons favorite, and which also meant the creamsicle flavor was just orange without the cream. Toppings were available and they had several healthy options. I’ve had better experience at SweetFrogs, Mellow Mango, or TCBY.

The friendly owner is generous in handing out free samples. I was worried it was JUST yogurt based on the name, but thankfully, there was ice cream too! I had a scoop of mint chip and a scoop of butter pecan — both delicious and creamy. They had a variety of toppings you can put on your ice cream as well, including delicous butterfingers! Solid choice.

I love froyo and this is the best place I have ever gotten it. There’s usually only one flavor that stands out to me, but at this place I could have eaten them all. I highly recommend the cheesecake flavor. I always top with fruit, and they were nice and fresh. The service was great. She helped us get samples right away. If you are more of an ice cream person, they have a variety of ice creams as well. Only criticism: I wish they had some outdoor seating.

Yogurt was great. Birthday cake is on point. Toppings are pretty varied but make sure to walk through the whole thing – I found it complicated because they are not all in the same place. Some are across from the actual yogurt and some are closer to the register, some on top of the counter, some next to the register. It was less organized than I prefer They were also running low on some toppings so I couldn’t have my appropriate amount of rainbow sprinkles(booo). Very yummy though.

My favorite frozen yogurt spot in town! They have a nice variety of flavors, and toppings. It’s also very, very clean and sanitary. Great spot to take kids or anyone who loves frozen yogurt!

Yum Yum!!! Was surprised by how delicious Cherry is. Only drawback was that the guy at the counter makes your sample for you. Why can’t we be trusted with ketchup cups?

I have a hard time giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 simply because the yogurt is some of the best I’ve ever had. The price is in line with all of the other places, and the quality of product surpasses. My only gripe is with the management. My husband is an Iraq war veteran and while they promote a military discount, they give him a hard time about it when he pays for mine. While I was not directly in the war with him, I stood by his side while he served and was there mentally. To be honest, it really bothers my husband which is why we don’t frequent even though it’s so good.

Yum Yum is a decent froyo shop in the Publix shopping Center off Hwy 17 near John’s Island. Nothing too special about it and not sure it could hold it’s own compared to some of the other froyos around town, but it’s not bad at all. The froyos were pretty good. They have about 15 different flavors at any given time. Each machine carries two different flavors and the middle handle mixes the two. Typical for most froyo shops. I had the butter pecan and it was delicious. There is a decent amount of toppings, but not a schmorgasboard like some place. what we prefer! We definitely were not able to find everything we were looking for… marshmallow fluff, crumbled candy bars, but there was enough. The hot fudge was dried up in the pump so it wasn’t availble. I believe the man working was the owner. He was very polite. He came out to serve us our samples, which I though was a little different. Perhaps his way of controling the samples. He did mention the girl that worked the morning shift didn’t refill the hot chocolate… if you noticed it why didn’t you? Just a thought. In all, no complaints about Yum Yum. It’s close to our house so we will probably go again, just not in a hurry.

I love Yum Yum Yogurt! I’ve tried all the yogurt places on this side of town and YYY has the best-tasting flavors and best creamy yogurt texture. This stuff is as close to the consistency of regular soft serve, especially the Tahitian Vanilla, which is what I usually get.(Peanut Butter is my other favorite, but the salty caramel pretzel flavor is also pretty crazy). Good selection of appealing toppings. Not as much weird stuff as YoBe has, but a very extensive selection of candy, cookies, fruit, and other sweets, as well as sauces and cones to put in the bottom of your bowl. Much of the staff is high school kids, and they do a good job when they are needed. I’ve met the owner once or twice — nice guy who takes pride in his shop and the product. Also, you can do your shopping at the Publix next door as you eat your yogurt.

Yum Yum Yogurt is our new favorite frozen yogurt place. It helps that it’s very convenient to our house and to the area outside 526. There’s not a whole lot of specialty type places like this out here, so it was nice to see one come. Yum Yum is decorated really well and is a fun place to go, with dry-erase boards on the wall that you can write or draw on. The yogurt bar is nice. It’s self-serve and you can top it however you’d like. They had a «bottom bar», so you could put waffle cone chips, crumbed oreos, etc in your bowl before you added the frozen yogurt. I haven’t seen that at other frozen yogurt places, so we thought that was cool. Also, there were 12 – 15 different flavors, lots of toppings from candy to fruit, and a few syrups. I’ve seen frozen yogurt places with more toppings, but I felt like all these toppings were fresh, nothing was stale or seemed like it had been left out for a day or so and just covered up. The yogurts themselves are delicious. I had some of the vanilla, which was actually fat free and no sugar added, but it was the best vanilla I’ve had. It didn’t have that sugar-alcohol aftertaste that some sugar-free or fat free ice creams or yogurts have. The dark chocolate was also rich and delicious, yet fat free. My husband loved the white chocolate mousse. They also change the flavors out occasionally and do seasonal things. The owners are very nice and personable. They moved here from New York and love it down south. We sat around and talked to them for awhile in between customers. I felt like we could’ve talked to them all day.
