Vince’s Pizza & Pasta

Pizza had chewy dough that seemed like it hadn’t been cooked through.
Linguine with broccoli sat in a bucket of oil. My wife could barely eat it, just choking down a few of the pieces of overcooked broccoli.
Penne vodka was heavily creamed.
Limited options in the town, but would not return.

This was my 2^nd favorite pizza in Johnstown, I think I liked Market Street’s pizza a little more. The dough here is good, it’s a little sweet, as is the sauce. they didn’t put a ton of cheese on the pizza but that’s how i like it. the pizza isn’t too crisp, so the slices can get a little floppy, and that’s probably the worst part about the pizza. I wasn’t a fan of the buffalo wings. they weren’t crisp at all and the sauce was really weird, it was thick and kinda paste like but it didn’t stick to the wings. They deliver, which is a plus, but they are closed on mondays, which is a bummer. 3 and a half stars

The girls behind the counter are rude, not friendly, and could careless about the business. Which is enough to make me never go back. But beyond that I’ve ordered on 3 different occasions and every time my food comes cold and over 30 min late. When you call to tell them, the girl behind the counter either hangs up on you, or treats you like it’s your fault they’re too busy to deliver the food on time, or at least some what warm. We now go to Pizza Joint in gloversville. They deliver to Johnstown and the staff is friendlier, also deliver quicker.

Best veal sorrento I’ve ever had. Generous portions at a great price as the dinner came with salad and homemade bread.

Classic red sauce joint in a quaint small town. We ordered a variety of plates for lunch: garlic knots, salads, pepperoni pizza and some pastas. Portions were big and everything was very tasty, particularly the garlic knots which came swimming in delicious garlic butter.

I have been traveling for many years and eaten in many different restaurants… Tonight on the spare of the moment I chose to look at what was available on Unilocal in regards to someplace good to eat and quick. Vince pizza pasta was rated pretty decent. So I decided to head over to Vince to order something to eat. I placed an order for a bowl of chicken soup at the cost of $ 3.25 and I placed an order of a medium pie which was called a six cut didn’t understand what that really meant. I asked the counterperson what does a six cut mean and also what is a medium. My response was the medium was slightly bigger than the small and the six meant six slices. The pizza was 8 slices and it wasn’t even cooked properly. The chicken soup had an abundance of something green which is attached to the photo with somebody please tell me what this abundance of green that’s in the soup. The soup did not even taste like it was an Italian chicken soup. In my opinion don’t waste your time energy or money. Besides the fact the location needs to have a remodeling designer.

If you’re in Johnstown and you eat Pizza Hut we need to talk. Or Domino’s. With Vince’s around there’s no reason to ever, and I mean ever, eat at those places. Vince’s is much better, there’s friendlier service and no comparison when it comes to taste. Whether by the slice or full pie Vince’s doesn’t disappoint. This is a great place for pizza in the heart of town.

Great thin New York style pizza and tasty wings! Worth the drive and the crumby parking.

Good pizza and great staff with fair prices. I will be back again soon for more pizza. The pizza is good, I’m going to try the wings next. I would recommend this place to others hungry for good pizza. Vince’s gets a 4 star review based on my recent experience.
