Baskin-Robbins

I thought I would update my review to talk about my experience ordering an ice cream cake. At first I wasn’t aware that my Baskin Robbins could make cakes specially, but after looking in the premade cakes box we asked and they do! We went in on a Wednesday and wanted to pick it up the next day. Luckily they only need a 24 hour notice so it worked out great. We ordered a bunny cake for Easter. For the type that it was (roll cake) the options were kind of limited. Our choices were chocolate cake (that’s it) and vanilla ice cream or chocolate chip. That’s was fine, whatever. We picked plain vanilla because the chips seem to be bitter chocolate. We had a $ 3 off coupon and it all went smoothly. The next day we go in to pick it up and its ready. The lady had us look at it but it was pretty hard to see in the box so when we get home and see the eyes are pink, making the rabbit look rabid, we quickly wipe it off and use some black frosting to fix it up. Overall the cake was pretty cute. They did a good job making it look as it was advertised. So, Sunday rolls around and we cut into this sucker. Chocolate chip ice cream?! Oh well no big deal I guess but it was pretty jarring to bite into something crunchy. The cake tasted pretty good and I really enjoyed the whip cream frosting. The part that was just actual frosting is pretty bad though. It was something fun and cute for the kids of the family to enjoy on Easter, but I doubt it will become our go to dessert.

They where very nice to my kids. Did not take them long to get to us and help us. The only thing they could have done was ask if we wanted a drink. Didn’t ask just rang us up.
