Everything in this store is way overpriced. Tourist trap that enjoys taking advantage of people. Shop online and save yourself some money.

The air conditioning is the best! It’s so hot out here haha. But what helps is that they carry lots of locally made items with so much history in them. Dream boxes, jewelry, diaries with leather binding, and every other odd and end you could want in a gift shop. The woman working here has such a nice demeanor and everyone at these little shops in JT is so kind! Los Angeles could really use some more people like you haha. Thanks for a great weekend, Joshua Tree! Til next time!

Great giftstore — plenty of funny, fun, and offbeat gifts and tchotchkes — many JTree-themed, many general. Fair prices and friendly shopkeeper.

What’s not to love about this adorable spot! This place has such a whimsical charm to it & is just perfect in the desert. They sell very neat & useful stuff; they sell camping gear & stuff like that but also a lot of survivors & other little nic nacs.

Rustic hippie incense shop with t-shirts and other nick-nacks that every tourist needs a few of to return home. It sits just across the street from the Joshua Tree National Park visitors center, great location, can’t miss it. A pickup pulls in front, rolls down the window and talks to the sales girl. They carry a complete line of camping and climbing supplies; unique gifts and work by local artists; cards, books, handmade jewelry and more. A must stop coming or going in Joshua Tree.

Here they have just about every cool little doodad, thingamajig, knick-knack, doohicky and whatchamacallit you could think of buying at a hippie-themed gift shop. Far out, man! The store itself looks like it’s been there since the gold rush. The threads(at least the t-shirts) are cheaper than across the street at the Visitor Center, but they’re also of the cheaper fabric variety. Bitchin’! But the grooviest part of this joint is that for not a lot of bread(just $ 4.00) you can spend 7−½ minutes underneath a steaming hot stream of water. Just don’t forget to wear your thongs(flip-flops). Right on! «You’re only as young as the last time you changed your mind.» — Timothy Leary

I love you guys!!! Coyote Corner is the staple of JTree. You can get your stickers and key chains, tshirts and sweaters, and a lovely variety of camping thingies for the forgetful camper… Headlamps, guidebooks, climbing salve, good ol JTree lip balm. They have hot showers!!! They have cute girls!!! They’re next to the Saloon!!! Love my fellow hippies. These guys are currently fighting the power. 99 cent store wants to post up across the street. Fuck that noise!!! Stay in shitty Yucca Valley and leave these rad folks alone.

IFYOUCAN’T FINDITONLINE, YOUCANFINDITHERE BACKGROUND: Coyote Corner provides you with campground information; maps; recommended sights to see in the park; gifts to take home; even recommendations of the best dining and inns in the area. STATS: Free on-site parking Sunday-Saturday 9 a.m. — 7 p.m. EXPERIENCE: This quaint little shop is jammed to the gills with all sorts of items; T-shirts, trinkets, souvenirs, maps, hipster clothes, handmade jewelry, books, and things you’d encounter in a Spencer’s Gift Shop. Oh, and for all you piggy lovers, they have rare bacon items, I took some pictures, but it seems I neglected to upload them. Anyhow, great place to check out when in town with friendly, helpful, and personable staff.

Great little niche corner store. Extremely cool store, great items. Some reviewers complained of high prices, I don’t think they went across the street to the National Park Service’s gift shop. My experience here was beneficial because I asked the worker about where I should eat and she not only told me, but searched for the address and phone number. Extremely helpful, and a great recommendation!

OVERpriced giftshop selling a bunch of crap you don’t need. This is a tourist trap. Get an authentic souvenir elsewhere or go next door and get a burger & beer at the Joshua Tree Saloon instead!

Extremely pricey!!! I understand economics and taking advantage of the college kids that flourish to our home in the summer, but the prices are above what the average is for the high desert area. Besides that the best thing to eat is breakfast, good portions and the staff is average as far as timeliness goes.

I stopped by this friendly and useful shop several times during my recent six-day camping trip in Joshua Tree National Park. The staff are nice and helpful, and there are plenty of snacks and souvenirs, if they’re what you’re in the market for. Most important to me, Coyote Corner has pay showers with terrific water pressure and plenty of hot water to blast off days of accumulated dirt, sweat, and sunblock, and you can fill your water tanks and bottles from the shop’s hose(be sure to leave a «donation» for this resource and the convenience). I also got some of my wood for campfires here; a tip I received from one of the staff, after I reported a lot of trouble getting the wood to burn, is to check for condensation inside the plastic wrapping, as sometimes the wood is delivered damp to the shop.

Pretty cool little gift shop at the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. This place has a real hippie feel to it, and offers some pretty unique gifts. If you find yourself wondering into Joshua tree, and need supplies or maybe a cool T-Shirt this is a great place to stop and check out… oh and they offer showers as well.

Sooo Cute, totally a hippy vibe, great place to get souvenirs as a memento of your trip to Joshua Tree National Park. I popped in for some climbing tape as the gear store across the way ran out and recommended I check out the Coyote Corner. They have a tiny little camping/climbing section. I also couldn’t resist a cute t-shirt shirt for myself and a magnet for my fridge. Of all the times I’ve come to Joshua Tree I never picked up any souvenirs until I came to Coyote Corner it’s a charming little place.

I usually stay away from gift shoppy stores like this, but since I forgot my rain poncho at home and it was pouring rain, I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for the trip, but that I could also hopefully use(or loan) in the future as well. After visiting a certain store across the street and finding their cheap option was $ 25(the normal option was $ 50), we wandered into Coyote Corner. It is touristy, no doubt, but more like a hippyish general store(minus the groceries). I couldn’t pass up a mini star guide and a gorgeous artist’s card, as well as the aforementioned poncho at $ 5, and didn’t even get close to what I would have spent across the street.
