La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant

We stopped in here for dinner last night
The food was good except my main dish. A combo dish. Tasted like a salt block ! Yuck !!!
I sent it back. The manager apologized
And took it off our bill. Offered to make me another but by then I didn’t want anything to do with food
My hubby’s food was good and the margarita was very tasty and strong !
Service is excellent … Just the one dish. Yuck !
Doubt if we will stop on here again

Nice place to go for Mexican food. I loved the tacos with carne. The place is nice for family. It is big and in a safe area. I would like to eat menudo but they did not have it. But in general it is good and the price it is not crazy

First, I just want to start off with saying I have never walked out of a restaurant in my life until last night it was super busy as well which I’m patient about and understand. I was sat down and given some chips and salsa by the time my server came by to order drinks I was done with my salsa and he literally came to my table and said «drinks?» Not what can I get for you or any appetizer just one word ‘drinks’. I ordered my drink also said I would like some guacamole and more salsa. He brought me my drink did not even ask if I was ready to order just the drink, no straw, no salsa, and no guacamole. I waited for another seven minutes I made sure I timed it and he never came back. So I walked out and went to El Tapatio their service was not as bad but could have been better but way better than La Fiesta. I would have to try it again just cause there is no Mexican food restaurants around here I need my Mexican food fix being a Californian girl but I’ll go during slow hours since they don’t know how to multi task.

This is a family staple for my family! We love this place and we have tons of memories here. The service is AMAZING the Staff is AMAZING! My favorite is the Taco Mexicanos, Chicken Soup and the Chicken Fajitas.

Horrible food and it was more like left overs than fresh food. I wouldn’t consider it Mexican food at all. My fajita meat was chopped onto tiny pieces, the chicken was over spiced and the steak had no taste at all. The guacamole was cold and not fresh. My wife’s Cana asada didn’t taste like beef. Tomatos were not ready. My daughter hamburger was more authentic than our entire tables dinner. Definitely not retuning.

Great food and service. Salsa was on point tonight, cheese dip was delicious. I had a seasoned chicken dish (can’t remember what came after Pollo…) and it was delicious. My dinner partner had carnitas and he scarfed the whole plate. Service was great, glasses stayed full, but she wasn’t hovering over us either.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Junction City. The lunch specials are a really good deal and made super fast.

I don’t normally write bad reviews. If I don’t have anything good to say I normally just don’t. I live here and it’s just not very good food. Nice clean place and pleasant folks.

Let me start with we are new here to Kansas from California where good Mexican is easy to come by. We went here on a whim and we were really hoping to not be disappointed. First off the girl who sat us down didn’t say a word to us and say us all the way in the back of a empty restaurant. They brought us chips and salsa that were really good so we were thinking okay it won’t be a waste of money. I ordered steak fajitas. THEY HAD NO SEASONING!!! Obviously had not been marinated. Our server was nice enough to give me free extra tortillas because they nickle and dime you here. My husband hate his barely meat tacos and the kids just had cheese quesadillas which was fine. I will not be returning here again. Only getting2 stats for the sweet waitress who was pregnant and kept a smile on her face the whole time

Good Large amount of food for a good price with amazing chips and salsa that make u want more chips.

Great food. Great service. A bit pricy for mexican, but good none the less. I’m visiting JC, but would come here again if I were ever to come back. I didn’t order drinks, but heard from hotel staff that the drinks are great. Give it a go.

We always get great service every time we come. we stick to what we know that’s god & thats the Fajita (any meat choice) & steak ranchero is the best on the menu. I have tried their enchiladas once and it was gross. They serve you with chips and salsa when they seat you, which is amazing! especially if you go in there super hungry :)

Good Mexican. I always order the tacos mexicanos and they are delicious. A good place for lunch or quick dinner. I have felt rushed by my server a few times so I dont like to go there to relax.

To start with, the Margaritas are ridiculous. My wife ordered a Mango Margaritas that tasted like it was a mango slushy with a splash of lime, I ordered a Cadillac, a pretty standard top shelf margarita, nobody in the restaurant had any idea how to make it. This is the kind of place that people who don’t eat Mexican food can go and not feel intimidated. The food was ok. We both had Carne Asada, it wasn’t bad, but it could have been properly marinated before grilling.

Great salsa! Fantastic margaritas! Don’t order food if you get the Monster (64oz)… Large helpings. Good food. Kids menu.

Love the fajitas! This was the second Mexican restaurant in JC we went to and by far the better one. Love the colorful atmosphere and the staff is always very nice. My kiddos also love it so that makes it even better. Only downside is it is pretty pricey.

First I’d like to say I was raised in Arizona and my standards of authentic Mexican food is quite high. I’ve given this place three tries mainly cause my hubby wanted it, and each time the food was incredibly boring. Absolutely the worse Mexican food I’ve eaten in a long time. It Tasted like it came from the freezer section at Walmart. Really disappoints me cause the look of the place is so intriguing and reminds me of Phoenix, as well as the waiters themselves were quick and polite. Also the chairs, even know they are visually pleasing, are insanely uncomfortable.

I wish I had more time to look at places in the area to eat Mexican food at, because this place was not great. A group of friends and I were looking for a place to eat at quickly before hitting the road and heading back home after a bowling tournament. We stopped by La Fiesta and each got a margarita to start. I ordered the mango margarita and it was AWFUL. This doesn’t happen often, but I sent it back and just requested to have it removed from my bill. It basically tasted like sugar, watered down mango and tequila.
I ordered a burrito, nothing special. The burrito definitely wasn’t special either. No one really raved about their meal, just ate it and we left. Don’t think I’ll give this place another go anytime soon.

This place was a good choice on Wednesday night. All beers are ½ off on Wednesdays. Can you say $ 1.60 Corona? I sure can. Several times, in fact. ;)
I tried one of their numbered combos to get a feel for the place. Things are definitely targeted to the American palate. The beef in the enchilada I had was pretty bland. The poblano in cheese was awesome if you like cheese… a LOT of cheese. I do, so that was the good stuff for me. I liked their chips and salsa just fine, too. Hard to complain about free. Service was solid. It always seems to be that way at Mexican places.

I gave this place a 4 because to get a 5 from me you have to be just down right amazing & perfect… ok so lets begin, friendly greeting from staff as soon as we walked in… Restaurant is clean and colorful! Music playing, the ambiance was nice! Chips & salsa served within seconds of sitting down. Server was very friendly & prompt in taking our order. We had the beef & chicken fajitas… very good! Chucked marinated perfect! Portions were huge! Had to take some home! I will definitely be going back :)
