Avarege chicken place. Limited choices, nothing great to say, other than it was OK, I was really hungry. Pace is clean and service is just like a Mc. Donalds. You order and then you get call to pick up your food from the counter.

Best Juan Pollo I’ve been to. The employees here are fast and friendly… I come for lunch and within minutes my food is ready. When this restaurant was in the Pedley square, the chicken was always dry but the new location seems to have the freshest of everything… I love it.

Juan Pollo actually has some delicious food, however this particular one, I will not eat at again. I work close by so I normally take my food to go, but this particular day I decided to eat in… what a mistake that was. I spent around $ 12 for tacos and a chicken bowl. As I was finishing my first taco, the girl that was handling the food WITH NO GLOVES runs passed me to the bathroom, well as you know there’s not much seating here so the place is small. As I’m trying to eat my food I hear that employee puking her guts out in the bathroom. Now I’m normally not grossed out, however, I realized that it was the same girl handling the food… no gloves… what ki d of germs is she spreading? Being in the food industry, you do not handle food if you’re sick! I got up, threw my food away and walked out. I ended up calling the manager to inform him of what had just happened but he acted as if he didn’t care. He apologized for the inconvenience and said he would ask her if she was sick… ummmm, she’s puking… then asks if that was all. I was speechless! I don’t expect to get anything free, but as a manager myself I would’ve apologized and offered a refund or the next meal on the house, instead, I got a «was that all?» Very unprofessional and DIRTY! Please think twice before you eat there! I will be enjoying Juan Pollo at other locations.

Juan Pollos is definitely one of the best rotisserie chickens I’ve ever had. I come from LA so to find out that I live nearby a Juans Pollo was great. The location is not too bad, its in Jurupa Valley so not too far from where I’m at. The restaurant itself is pretty small but there is outdoor seating. The only thing thats a bummer is that you have to pay for extra salsa. I am not the biggest fan of carrots in my salsa but i just ate through them. Ill defiantly come back here for some dinner and plus its located near a theater so eat them watch a movie or vice versa.

We all know Juan Pollo isn’t a fancy place to get chicken, but is the chicken so good .yes I love their chicken and all their side the rice might just be boiled sticky rice but the pieces of chicken and green onion add flavor to it, the beans are oya style and I personally like them, last the potatoe salad just add pieces of chicken to it with tortilla chips or tostada and its really good. The salsas are good too If on a quick luch break the pollo bowl is all that in a bowl really good aswell.

I always loved the chicken and the rice. Today I got the lunch special which includes chicken, rice, beans, tortillas and drink. Everything was fresh and quickly served. However, the problem at this place is FLIES!!! I did not see a bug zapper and there were flies buzzing around every ones table and the area where they keep the lemons. The door to the place does not close good so I believe the flies can easily come in. They need to do something about flies.

Juan Pollo’s chicken is ten times better than the crazy chicken. The service here is fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable and the food is awesome! The $ 5 dollar chicken burrito is my go to item.

3.5 stars for this fairly new establishment. The old Juan Pollo was located just down the street right off Van Buren Blvd. This one is located about ½ mile East of Van Buren on Limonite (next to the theater). The first thing I noticed is that this location has a lot less seating than the old location. When I arrived during lunch time, it wasn’t long before all the tables filled up.
I usually order the lunch special, which is two pieces of chicken, along with two sides and three tortillas for just over $ 6. Since the chicken is on a rotisserie machine, it’s almost served immediately after you order it, so the wait is minimal. The chicken at Juan Pollo is very tender and juicy. As you dig into it, it just falls apart. I love ordering my meal with their delicious rice (which has pieces of chicken mixed in), and their awesome potato salad. I normally don’t like potato salad, but I love this one. My wife doesn’t care for it much, so I guess it comes down to preference.
The restaurant could have been cleaner as I noticed there wasn’t very many places to sit since 6 out of their 8 tables where dirty. I do give the girl behind the counter credit as she over heard me mention the dirty tables, and came out and cleaned ours right away!
Overall my visit was very pleasant. My companion (who was here for the first time) also was very pleased with the food. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Best chicken in riverside! Always fresh and the staff is very nice. Rice and potatoes salad is amazing as well as there salsa.

I like the chicken a lot. It’s always juicy and delicious. I’ve had the rice at other Juan pollo locations and this one could do a better job to make it moist. The service was fast and friendly. It’s a couple of doors away from another Mexican restaurant but seems to be holding its own. There is an odd smell when you enter, but I’ve noticed it at other Juan pollo establishments too. Maybe it has to do with the rotisserie. Not sure, but the odor doesn’t affect the flavor of the food. Love the salsa with little chunks of carrots.

I bought rice to have for dinner. When I called and complained about the rice being dry. The owner told me my rice couldn’t be dry. He just continued to argue with me. So will not be going there again.

Mmmm Juan pollo is my favorite chicken. Every time I eat it it’s like a party in my mouth. The taste of the skin is amazing! Never had anything so good. Then the inside is juicy and never dry. Never gets old I could eat it everyday :)

The chicken here is BOMB. They roast it rotisserie style, and take it off the spit to order. It’s nice and juicy, but the skin is really the highlight. I know, kind of gross, but I am telling you it is delicious. I pick the pieces with the most skin because it tastes so good!!! Your taste buds will thank you. The rice and beans are pretty standard, but the potato salad is good. My friend LOVES it. I’m also glad that they have Horchata. So good. Overall, a worthwhile experience.
Another perk: service is fast.

Was asked to leave the minute I stopped eating, when it was only 10 mins past closing.
Also, they were out of corn on the cob, and didn’t realize it until they went to fill my order.
I definitely won’t be coming back!

The family meal is a great deal and the food is great. I prefer this over the other chicken spots, the food is good and the service is prompt. The location is terrible and no drove through is what it lacks.

being from LA there r places like this everywhere. wasnt sure about riverside tho. My dad loves this kind of chicken so we found Juan Pollo from Unilocal.of course the reviews were mixed so we wanted to try it anyway for ourselves and my family liked it. We bought the 2 whole chicken special with 30 corn tortillas, lrge beans, rice, and potato salad. oh and a half chicken because we werent sure if it was enough for us 5 we eat alot. surprisingly we had more than enough and it came out to a little over $ 30.00. chicken was delicious. i loved the rice. beans n potato salad were ok, but the tortillas were the bomb! i would recommend eating here but for take out lol the inside is a little suspect. I’m just saying. lol

Soo yummy! This location is better than the other Riverside location! I love their potato salad and salsa! The chicken rocks!

Chicken lunch special is great. The food is very good. However it does smell like dirty toilet water throughout the restaurant. Probably best to take your food to go.

This place is cheap and ghetto, I’m upset because I bought the jumbo family pack, number 1 they were out of beans, so we had to choose extra rice :-(number 2 they gave me a small salsa for the whole 3 chickens and XL sides. I asked for an extra one and they wanted to charge me. It seems like these chicken «Juan Pollo» places are always lacking on something. I will not be back here again.

My family loves eating here. We usually order either the mini pack or family pack which is either 1 whole or 2 whole chickens. This place blows other major chains out of the water, the flavor on the chicken is great. The rice and beans fit well (not the best but definitely not the worst) and their tortillas are great. Sometimes if we’re making our own taco’s at home i even go out to get just their flour tortillas. They’re that fluffy, soft and delicious!
Only downside would obviously be the location (its in a run down center), but that’s not their fault. If you like good chicken, eat at this place!
