Maui Academy at Peak Performance is a branch of Brazilian Freestyle Jiu Jitsu. I recommend that if you are on vacation in Maui, and you have an itch to train, that you check out this place.
Ermin, the resident Black Belt trainer, is on point. He is knowledgeable and technical. He’ll test you out by allowing you to think you have a submission on him and then before you know it, you’re caught. He doesn’t hold any of his knowledge back. I was happy to train at his gym the few times I got to. Had I known earlier, I would have been there every day I was in Maui. They were an awesome group of people!
