Lunch special set (which is basically a lunch version of their regular Set-B, Kalbi short rib) at $ 11.95 is a good value (a 4-star worthy quality, normally). The only reason to deduct one star was for the default «basic» soup base, which tasted like instant ramen soup base with pieces of ginger thrown in to mask its origin. If I had known that, I would have opted for either plain water base or paid extra for some other premium soup base. I will return for dinner some day (don’t know when, since hot pot or shabu shabu is not something I crave in hot Hawaii — I associate it with cold weather) and post updates.
I drank 2 tall glasses of water afterward, but I am still thirsty.

Reasonable prices for good food! It was a nice family experience. My 4 year old loved it and our waitress, Ying was awesome and very friendly!
We’ve moved here from O’ahu about 4 years ago. I am an O’ahu girl born and raised and when we moved here, it was hard for me to find ANY place here in comparison to what I could get on O’ahu. I wish I had taken photos but we were too hungry and enjoyed it so much that I didn’t even think to take my phone out. I’m excited to say that whenever we eat out, we will be seeing Ying again.
From my understanding, they just opened this june/july. Perhaps they needed improvement before but as of now, I don’t want them to change a thing! Their classic broth was flavorful and it’s not breaking the bank! $ 36 meal! Can’t go wrong.

My first and last ever. Expect good quality for food if compare with amount you spend please skip this place. If you get wrong order they won’t get you a new one just because they already brought it out. How come to eat shabu shabu with out dipping sauce.
I order udon noodle but brought me ramen noodle**#*%%# very disappointed.
Kim chee test awful not recommend.
