I love barre. and love Jen. This is a really fun and light class. but it kicks my butt as well. Seeing the results of my workouts. feeling stronger and tighter

Back home I won a barre bootcamp 3 month session for brides, and I loved it. It was the Dailey Method, and I was a total believer in its results! I was on the hunt for Barre in my hometown and found Barre Kailua, but at the time, their classes were at night, which didn’t work for my schedule.
Thankfully, they moved and added classes, and I was able to take advantage of their new year, new you package, and loved my classes. It definitely took me awhile to get used to the much more casual class setting, but it was none the less a very good workout. I love the small class settings, intimate feel, and positive vibe of the classes and the teacher.
Barre is the perfect blend of ballet, yoga, and isometrics, which is great for literally every body and ability level. The teacher gives modifications for injuries or fitness levels, and adjusts form when you’re out of line.
Without the deal packages, the classes are pretty expensive compared to the mainland, but are about average for hawaii. All the equipment you will need is already there, so all you need is some water, and the desire to kick your booty into shape!

New location for 2016! This is a super sculpting workout! The small movements pack a punch! Don’t underestimate those 2lb weights! I love this whole body workout and the instructor Jen! She’s motivating but never in your face and her playlists really keep you going. Form and body position is key to ‘feeling’ it in the right place and Jen will adjust you and explain to you what your body needs to be doing, all while keeping you encouraged and not feeling like a barre virgin! The studio is all brand new and in a great location. I’m always looking forward to class even though I know it’s going to be a killer!

Love the new studio!!! Such a great workout that helps keep me fit and injury free for running and sports. Jen leads a fun class with great music that will almost make you forget how hard you are working all those little muscles. those that support the bigger ones. You will leave the class with wobbly legs, a firm tush, and a smile!!!

Jen is such an amazing instructor. Brand new studio and great lighting!!! I had a kick butt work out this morning with her and I can wait to get back to the barre tomorrow. Absolutely my fav way to work out. Good bye 24 hour fitness!!! HELLO BARRE KAILUA!!! Keep up the butt slaying Jen!!!

The time flies by when you are at the barre! It’s a great complement to my gym routine, adding flexibility, balance, and core. Jen gives you some comfort level options to make the workout less intense (or more, if you really want to feel that burn); either way, you’ll pack a full body workout into just one hour. This is also a kid-​friendly studio!
If you read my other reviews, it’s obvious that I love to eat, and yes, all that ice cream does make me chubby. Don’t let your «luxury upholstery» get in the way of trying this — it’s fun, it’s challenging, and a great way to get stronger.

BARRE KAILUA IS NOT CLOSED! They moved to a NEW location with ample parking and lots of room for class! Jen is an AMAZING instructor (she has the Barre body to prove it), she always switches the routines up so I am never bored, and I can feel the full body workout. She ensures that our form is correct to maximize results, that attention to detail is priceless! Low impact, amazing results, it keeps me coming back for more!!! Congrats on your new location!

I wrote a review earlier on Barre Kailua and it said that is was closed, but it is not closed it moved to a new location which I attended on Saturday. Awesome Barre class! My body is feeling how weak I was in certain places. Good luck on your new location! Love the Free parking
